These things are not as easy as relocate...because I did relocate several times in the past.
As for UK govt having sleepless nights...I am as perplexed as you, as to why they are going about the way they are over me. Just help me sign the petition; so we can have a good ending to this Nigerian story. Cheers

GEJ before he became president we were told he had no shoes undecided but he knew that weeping can never take him to Aso rock may be nigerians are tired of people who keeps using their tears to blackmail them.
Someone should tell those duo to grow up jare. sad

Ngwakwe: The Igbos are not going anywhere, this call for separation is another call for Abandon Property.

Unless there is a Sovereign National Conference on a peaceful disintegration of this force marriage, it will endure forever, for better or for worse, we are in it.

u r just like achebe, in his book there was a country.
he recalled the atrocities committed in the country and the level of corruption, and yet he cried painfully about biafra, the still born nation.

I gave you a wikipedia link to read but i doubt you are the type that would take his time to read.

Sorry we had no Igwes until the Europeans came , you should read more about the Igbo form of Democracy, much more better than what you have today, Igbos bow to nobody. The British has a really hard time trying to impose kingship on us..do your research.

If you think that bowing to someone and having the fate of a nation decided by one man is humility then you really don't know what being a free human being means. use google and research on the Igbo concept of Amadi(A freeborn) , being a leader does not make you God in igbo land you are just a leader in the sense of a manager and that means in other spheres you should respect the opinions of other men whom has been assigned to manage that and whom in your own sphere might have to listen to you.

why was ojukwu able to start the biafra war?

Again read the Wikipedia link i gave you.
Politics / Re: APC to split NNPC, end importation of fuel by kunlekunle: 10:04am On Aug 25, 2013
gboss4sure: Talk is cheap, if APC trys it what happended in egypt will happen in Nigeria and they will be ousted out of power from Nigeria that's if they even smell it. Talk is reall cheap, trying to end fuel importation in Nigeria means going to war with the powers that be which GEJ tried by removing subsidy and he becomes the most hated man in Nigeria by some people they powers used and will keep using. I repeat that APC can't do it, only we Nigerians can end it only when we start agreeing with each other. This is politics and those behind NNPC aint just Nigerians but there are world powers that benefit from the fuel importation.

thats why you need someone who can go where no one ventures, someone who can do nigeria the most honourable help.

Igbos are fiercly democratic, you should study more on Igbo history. Nobody bows to another human being as kings, even where there were kings you dare not bow down to him, that is simply not igbo culture to be slaves to another man.

Igbos are the only tribe from all the tribes that constitute mordern Nigeria that fought the British as a nation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ekumeku_Movement, with a truly advanced chain of command. Igbos waged war on the invading British soldiers for 12 solid years as one united nation. there are less than 4 places in Africa that such has happened, what we have rather in other places like Yoruba land is each group fighting for itself and town after town taken.
Igbos are a civilized nation with laws guiding its engagement with other tribes long before they encountered the Europeans. It is the Ekumeku Resistance and unity of the igbos that sparked the British fear and distrust of the Igbo till today. you should do some research on that.

can you provide a detailed research of your history from just 17th century?

Ibadan is not the only town that owes its creation to yorubas internal conflicts. Abeokuta is another classical example. They were WARS. Even the colonialists witnessed some of them and they recorded it as WARS but you guys who have no recorded history of having participated in any major war (save the biafran war which you lost, woefully) demeans it in your usual malicious trait by calling it "wrestling contest". Yet you guys have not been able to show us any culture that created an empire as big as the Oyo empire from wrestling contests.

u shd let him realise no one studied igbo empire in sec school?

yes o, as it was the theme in those days. Anyway, it still hasn't stopped you guys from calling us "cowards" and "war-shy" even when we have proof of having fought a 17yrs war among ourselves which you guys impishly refers to, as a wrestling contest.

If we yorubas are not prone to fighting over little issues, its not due to our lack of intestinal fortitude but rather because we have learnt the cost of gratuitous war where simple diplomacy and dialogue would have suffice.

u shd remind him of ogendengbe's statement. that after the kiriji war there would never be a single war again in and on yoruba land. all were involved and suffered.
thats why the igbos are struggling to create a monolithic system in the east.

Ikengawo: War seemed to be so consistent in yoruba history. It seems so many cities and sub groups were formed off people fleeing or running form war. There are large groups of displaced Yoruba tribes are far as delta state

after the war you form a nation and live happily. From their you create a monolithic system that embraces all.

Why bring the Bini's into this?

If Bini's want to claim the Oba of Lagos crown as theirs, then the Oba of Benin's crown also belongs to Ile Ife, period.

Anyway, enough of this back and forth about Lagos, it's the "Stalingrad" of every nazi non-Yoruba that wants to claim it.

Let's move to regional integration and how to make Yorubaland great.

main reason oyo empire did not extend to lagos, it belongs to Alaafin's younger brother.
