Doyou2019: No luck yet. Portal now reads "Results for these tests are currently not available . Please contact your test centre for further details".
Do I wait a while longer or start sending mails? Today is Day 6 after the CD-tests. Give it a little while. Once it’s available, they’d send you a mail |

Portal currently reads 'awaiting result' You can check later at night if you still haven’t seen the results |

Ayolayemi: Thank you for the detailed explanation WES is saying they are not evaluating certificate from The association of accountancy bodies in west Africa Because that is the name of the institution Okay. When i filled out my application I put that it was awarded by “ICAN” (in full) and the credential as “Accounting Technicians Certificate “ and the Canadian equivalence is a 1 year college-level certificate. PS - I did mine in January |

Ayolayemi: Sorry not really clear on this I thought the only professional certificate Canada recognize is ACCA And if I am evaluating my AAT/ACA When I click on the CRS dropdown for that section Am I clicking on two certificate Or the part of master degree and professional certificate Like I mentioned earlier i already evaluated my B.sc So if I am evaluating my AAT or ACA will that be the only certificate i am using or it will be in addition to my B.sc evaluation I meant AAT and Bsc Corrected my original post |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by kunleos(m): 4:50pm On Mar 14, 2023 |
They recognize AAT. On the dropdown, you would select two certificates. You would evaluate your AAT in addition to the Bsc and pay an additional fee (about $130cad or so) to add the additional credential. On the part of ATSWA, you’d have to clear out any outstanding subscriptions accrued and also pay an application fee of N15k to them. Hope this helps. Hi, you can use both AAT and Bsc Although you have to clear out any outstanding ATSWA subscription before they process your application. Once you do that, your score would shoot up to about 470-ish Ayolayemi: I have AAT before doing ICAN Should i revalute the AAT and it will be my primary ECA Or i can use both B.sc and AAT Since i have already done WES for my B.sc |

Hi, I did my EOR on 25th and it came out today Chinzzyy: I'd advice anyone against remarking. Remarking i applied for since 2nd January hasn't come out till now. Moreover you cannot remark reading and listening, its highly unlikely they made a mistake with that and if by a rare chance they did, it may just be one question or 2 which wouldn't make any difference to your score. I advise you to write again. My 2 cents... practice seriously and write again |

Your response will be appreciated. Thanks. Hi, it took about 3-5 days after the test. For the speaking, I did mine same day as the other sections. But you can choose to do it on a different day, depending on the availability |

Well, there's really nothing to be anxious about. I'd suggest CBT to avoid cases of illegible writing etc. you can practise and time yourself with the writing aspect on your personal system. PS - I had the same cold feet with writing but as long as you adhere to the writing standards, you'd be fine. Also try writing slightly above the word count for Tasks 1 and 2I wish you best of luck and look forward to celebrating your results grin Paparaxo: I just have this anxiety as regards the writing module. I feel typing will slow me down compared to writing.
Although most essays practice I have done with typing format have proved otherwise, I was able to reach the word count and still have enough to revisit my work. I just have this cold feet plus check out IELTS Jay and E2 on YouTube, they really helped me out as I didn't have enough time to get a personal tutor to guide me neither did I write any essays pre-exam.

I’ve got some questions I need clarity on if you don’t mind. Did you sat for computer based or paper? Thanks a lot. I’d double check. I appreciate 🙏🏾 GraciousWords: IRCC does not require us to show that we meet the educational prerequisites of our chosen NOC e.g. your NOC says BSc, CPA, CFA, MSc, PhD is needed for employment............... you do NOT need to have these qualifications to choose that NOC.
Read up on what you need to have to be able to choose a particular NOC - the NOC does not need to be related to your degree, as some people tend to assume (for FSW).
It's advisable to study page 1 and IRCC website - it helps. Always check with the original source.

That’s the same thing I thought. I just needed to be double sure. Thanks a lot ednut1: i don’t know why people like to mislead others . There is a post on their website ( cant find it) that says applicants are not required to show they meet the noc educational requirements. How are you supposed to get a CPA/CGA if you are not in Canada ( used to be possible with ACCA but not possible anymore) . |

Thank you very much. Yes I’m a CA I really appreciate your input 🙏🏾 Abercrome: I’m in financial advisory and a chartered accountant (CA) but I think your issue stems from misinterpretation and misinformation. Please see below an excerpt from your NOC code:
“Auditors require education, training and recognition as indicated for chartered professional accountants, chartered accountants (CPA, CA), chartered professional accountants, certified general accountants (CPA, CGA) or chartered professional accountants, certified management accountants (CPA, CMA) and…”
Going by the above, you’re allowed to use the NOC code as an auditor and you definitely qualify to use it since again I’m assuming you’re a CA (ACCA or ICAN) if you’re in an audit firm. Please always read requirements yourself on this journey and listen less to hearsay. Many auditors have gone before you from Nigeria with no issues. |

Hello everyone, greetings to the gurus.
I’m a silent reader on this thread and I’ve completed my WES & IELTS. My score is about 470 but i have a bit of an issue regarding NOC code 11100
My various work experiences has been as an auditor(internal/external) and in the finance dept and i intend to use the financial auditor NOC code. But a colleague informed me that its a licensed occupation and I shouldn’t pick it since i do not have CPA/CGA.
Please I’m a bit confused as other NOCs do not fully match my experience.
Has anyone used this NOC code without having CPA/CGA and didn’t face any issues?
Please gurus kindly help out. Thanks a lot |
