But please is this "late registration" for every candidate that wants to undertake direct entry ?

Not for every candidates, it is for those who were admitted on PT doing their ND and for those whose admission is not recognize by jamb... for you to know if you need to do the ' Late application' or not, go to jamb site, click on check admission status and select the year u sit for the jamb. If it shows 'sorry No admission given yet' You need to regularized but if it shows otherwise, I.e congratulating you for a successful admission in your school, stating your course and duration,You need no regularization number....

I hope this help...

I THINK I HAVE SOMETHING IMPORTANT ABOUT REGULARIZATION STUFF ( it's was gotten from a site " my school trick" and I believe it would be of important to all, thanks to the original poster. he has got no name )

I just felt this is the right time to talk about
this once and for all, since most of this year
prospective direct entry applicants keep asking
for what is the meaning of Jamb regularization,
jamb regularization deadline, jamb
regularization fee and how to get jamb
regularization number. Since this is new to
most people, I will use this post to discuss all
about regularization.
Before last year, there was nothing like Jamb
regularization.
Then, if you are a direct entry applicant then,
all you need to do is to obtain your DE form
from Jamb office and fill the form
appropriately. You don't even need to go to
cafe because you can do it with your phone
since there was no biometric.
Now the story has completely changed. Direct
entry registration has became more tough.
Jamb has introduced Biometric capturing and
Jamb regularization.
So What Is Jamb Regularization?
The only question that will come to your mind
when you heard of this phrase is ''What is
Jamb regularization?
This simply means reconciliation of your OND/
ND/NCE/HND admission between your
institution and Jamb. I hope you understand
what I mean? In case you don't, let me explain
Jamb regularization in another way.
Meaning Of Regularization In Practical
When you got admission into your previous
school, Polytechnic, College of Education or any
other ones. There are chances that your
polytechnic or college of education admitted
you then without Jamb's Knowledge or
approval. This could happened in two ways:
1. You were admitted as a part time student
who did not write jamb to secure the
admission. So you don't even have Jamb
number.
2. You wrote Jamb and you got admission but
your school did not notify Jamb of your
admission. Even though you have Jamb
number.
Whatever the situation is, you are in the same
problem.
Read: Can I Gain Admission Without Jamb
Regularization With Direct Entry?
How To Know You Have Regularization
Problem Before You Obtain Direct Entry
Form
This is not funny, because you might not have
been aware if not that you want to obtain
direct entry form, or you want to go to
NYSC.To know if you have this problem. Follow
the steps below:
1. Go to www.jamb.org.ng
2. Scroll to the year you wrote your jamb (e.g
2013)
3. Click on Check admission Status
4. Enter your Jamb number and click enter.
You will get a message like 'Sorry no
admission is given yet'
Note: The above procedures is to be carried
out only by those who have a Jamb number. In
case you were a part time students then, you
entered without taking Jamb, don't bother to
check. I will tell you what to do.
Either you have Jamb number or part time
students, you are both in the same problem.
Follow these steps to do Regularization
1. Go back to your previous school either
polytechnic or College of Education where
you graduated.
2. Go straight to the students affairs unit to
inform them you want to do regularization
3. Pay the jamb regularization fee i.e N5000
4. Complete the necessary forms
5. In few weeks, you school will submit your
data to jamb and Jamb will send you a new
jamb number through your school.
6. Thereafter, go back to your school to ask
for the new Jamb number in weeks later
7. Then use the new Jamb number to register
for your direct entry.
8. This is how to get jamb regularization
number...Simple

Be inform that the price has increase to #10,00 this year and it is now called 'late Application ' however, the steps to undergo in other to get the number has been stated on jamb site..

However, it is not our wish not to be admitted this year, Allahu Allam( God knows best) .. We are not giving up until success is derived ..

I hereby open this thread to serve as a guideline to the new DE applicants.

The following could be the caused.

1. starting the letter *p* in ur application id with capital letter.

2. inserting the password sent to email by the school or wrong surname.

3. Entering the captcha wrong.

To Avoid the aforementioned, You need to start the letter p in ur application I.d with small letter e. g 'prejambites2016_123456. Enter your surname correctly,u can start it with small letter. The Captcha displayed to you should be written correctly.

Education / A Kwara State Polytechnic Student Demand For Justice by kunlex445(m): 12:17pm On Oct 26, 2016
GREATEST NIGERIAN STUDENTS! ARTICULATE NIGERIAN STUDENTS!!

It is high time we agitate for students right in Kwara State Polytechnic ilorin, kwara State.

Kwara State Polytechnic is an institution that deals against justice and are only after injustice, corruption and all that can cause the institution not to progress. We think it is high time we put a stop and tell public the reality, concerned quarters to investigate the school management and high authorities because the future of the school is no longer bright. The principal of the school is heartless and shows less concern to students matters forgetting that he was once a student like us and if not for good and conducive learning environment he might not be the governor today in Kwara State. Before the appointment of the current Rector Alhaji Mas'ud Elelu in 2009 by the then governor now the Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the institution was in a better condition as the activities were runnd smoothly but stoped all activities infact denies his staffs their right and fear to manage students community and this gives much concern to the community stakeholders. Kwara state polytechnic is runnd like a public secondary school by the Rector as he imposes laws and steal unnecessarily from the school purse. He receives alert directly on his mobile number so for others not to know whats happening. He tries to scraps MATRICULATION, ORIENTATION, ASSOCIATIONS DAY, SCHOOL FEES BREAKDOWN for students. He gives lump sum of the students school fees which shouldn't be so. Alhaji Mas'ud Elelu should prove to the public why he scrapped all these. Kwara State Polytechnic is an institution for all. The Rector stops paying he staff MARKING AND INVIGILATION ALLOWANCES and these people deserved it because the population is too much imagine a school with over 55,000 (Fifty Five Thousand Students). He threatens them with Nigerian Army and other security personnel on campus. The Nigerian Army usually maltreat the polytechnic students, staff and traders. It is nothing but threat to life. As a Rector he should give room for free hearing. DSS (Department of State Security) threatens the Union leaders. The SSS correspondant for kwara State Polytechnic Mr Yunus sides the management and detained the union leaders for six hours thirty minutes (6hours 30mins) imagine such slap on students in Nigeria, what else if the SUG President Comrade AKEWUGBERU TAQIYYULLAH KEHINDE, General Secretary Salaudeen MM, Speaker of the house Hon. Afolabi Olabode Elijah, Clerk of the house Hon. Raheem Aishat and the Social Director1 Comrade Alabi Mustapha were said to distribute hand bill of no election no exam and of course nothing of such happened but they were threatened as an order from the Management as a result of the Director Directorate of Students Services Kwara State Polytechnic Mr Adewoye Olaolu Adegboyega because of the hatred he had for the Marvel administration. The administration was said to be too challenging and agitated for students right which is not his prime objective as Director Directorate of students services. Mr Adewoye Olaolu Adegboyega was said not to make the union complete their capital project after been approved by the Students Legislative Assembly, Students packages are not produced because he was not offered return from the money as the past Union Government does. Some Executives for 2015/2016 session and still valid until they have election said, that EFCC should probe the Director DSS, for his actions not allowing the union complete their project, not producing students packages and other letters that were not approved when they still have enough money to complete these projects. He should be charge for inaugurating care-taker committee during holidays as he said on radio and to provide the amended constitution and those that signed the amendment should appear before the court. He should provide list of students that they have refunded their #10,000 increment to. The public should call for the SUG
President to defend himself on radio and put more light to the relationship that was said to be good by the Mr Adewoye Olaolu Adewoye Dir. DSS Kwara State Polytechnic because we have been trying to get in touch to the president Com. Akewugberu Taqiyyullah kehinde but was to know avail and he left social medias and this is becoming suspicious or we guess maybe he was threatened again not to have his certificate as one of his executive was expelled unnecessarily and may not be mobilised for 2015/2016 NYSC by the school management as it has been their usual act. The Rector Alhaji Mas'ud Elelu must resign from his position so as not to corrupt other institutions he govern as the Chairman COHEADS. The Registrar must also resign Pastor M.O Salami, the Deputy Rector Admin. Engr. A.A. Aminu, the Deputy Rector Acad. Mrs Ajibade, the School Bursar Hajjia Aishat, the Director Directorate of Students Services Mr Adewoye Olaolu Adegboyega so as to protect the image of our great institution. And before they resign EFCC should verify their account and properties. We know the State Government will not intervene because it is usually said that the Governor of the State and Senate President of Nigeria shares from the income of the school and that is why the school does not have Governing Council Board Chairman since the emergence of the Governor for Second term in office. There is no physical project done by the school management at the end of each session after exploiting students. The gate renovation is by the polytechnic Alumni, the done fencing of the girls hostel by NHIS, the toilet in the new bus stop by NHIS, the uncompleted waiting arena by the SUG Executives for students convenience when the management fails but were said to have completed their administration and still have huge amount of money in the account as the so called Director DSS Mr Adewoye Olaolu Adegboyega said. You must all go, it is time to rebuild the image of our institution. Enough of your EXPLOITATION. EFCC please intervene.

S.A Students Affairs to President Muhammed Buhari please intervene.
Minister for Education please intervene.
Nans National Body please intervene.
Naps please intervene.
Nans JCC please intervene.
All Nigerian Students both Home and Abroad, Graduates and Under graduates.
Kwara Poly Alumni.
Past Comrades.
Kwara State House of Assembly please intervene.
Senate President of Nigeria clear your name.
Kwara State Governor clear your name.

Enough of killing, we are tired of exploitation in kwara State Polytechnic. We must know what we are paying for. We cry for your urgent intervention as the school resume and our lifes are still not safe. We cant have congress election because the management will put their canditate who will sell the students interest. Not all of us have the identity card and we pay for it. The school scraps Exit form because of students gathering and yet deceived the public of having congress election. Please save us. Remember you all are once student like us and if not for sound education and conducive learning environment you will not be what you are today. DSS kwara State polytechnic denies a news about NYSC payment given lump sum that carries his department name. It was from DSS that has been their part of their dubious character.

Please keep sharing until it gets to the necessary quarters.
