Education / Re: $$ by Kunlexic(m): 6:13pm On Mar 08, 2016
I listed them accordingly
1.OAU:Their admission is strictly on merit by the average of your JAMB and POST-JAMB score. They admit almost 75% of their admitted candidates on merit(both post utme and pre-degree) while the remaining 25% are other predites that couldn't meet up with their applied courses cut-off but score 60% and above in the final examination. Also among the 25% are those with connections with influential staffs of the school. If u are 1 mark to the merit, forget it unless u have an extra-strong connection with the schl staffs
2.UNILAG:They also admit on merit but the number of admitted candidates on merit aint up to 70% because they do sell change of couse form to those that didn't make it to the merit cut-off.They use your Jamb score which is over 400 and your post Jamb score which is over 100.Most people enter unilag with connection and money though.
3.UI:This shd be on my 2nd list.I cldnt put it because they don't use JAMB score unlike those two unis above. They only make use of post utme and up to 80% will be given admission on merit and will give chance for people to do change of course.Only the lucky ones will be among thee 20% left.
4.UNILORIN:They don't admit based on merit. It is only by God's grace and strong connection they can give u admission...it is out of them.

Politics / Re: I Haven't Failed Against Boko Haram- Buhari by Kunlexic(m): 12:14pm On Mar 06, 2016
dammytosh:

Even wailers know that there is progress in the the fight against Boko Haram but like i said in one of my posts :

One thing about all these SORE election losers is that everything is a win win situation for them.

-If Buhari did not travel any where, they will say we voted for an old docile president.
Now that he travels, he is travelling too much.

-If Buhari defeated Boko Haram in the first month, they will say he simply called his boys to order.
Now that it took time, they said they thought he claimed he can do it.

-If Buhari did not fight Corruption, they will say we all knew he was corrupt too and corruption can not fight corruption.
Now that he is fighting, they scream witch hunt.

-If Buhari's Govt came with immediate Power restoration, they will say they sabotaged Jonathan deliberately
Now that it is taking time, they scream we said it.

-If Buhari's Govt decide to give the 5,000 to unemployed, they will scream misplaced priorities and money that can be used for infrastructure
Now that he says he wont and he did not promise such, they still scream we said it.

Arguing with wailers is a waste of time, especially the iPOD(b) wailers. Their joy is for the country to explode and they will celebrate anything that they think will lead to that.

There is a very long way to wail, at least 3 years and at most 7 years.

By then Fayose would have had goitre out of useless screaming.
A silly Governor governing a very poor state still forming opposition at the detriment of his own people and to his advantage as a PDP leader in the future.

Bring the election again, any reasonable and not blind loyalist knows that Buhari is what Nigeria needs going forward not Jonathan's clueless style of leadership.

We must make sacrifices for the Nigeria we desire. I have seen silly placards like "Bring back our corruption" . Like seriously !!!!!

Election is over, Let us support the Government. When the next election comes or looks close, we can do a review of the 3 years plus and decide who to vote for.

The invitation is not for paid Pundits or those whose illegal source of income stopped since Buhari's Govt took over. I mean Nigerians whose only aim is to see Nigeria great again irrespective of the leader or party in charge.

Post Military rule, we have endured 16 years under PDP's leadership (President). Criticizing Buhari for every step in less than a year in office is not objective. Do you know what it takes to clean the mess created by Jonathan in 4 years ? Not to talk of combine PDP's 16 years of recklessness and corruption ?

The sad news for wailers is that , in 3 years time when we need to look at their analysis critically to determine the next step, Their rants would look normal and inneffective.

In 7 years time, we will greet all of you both iPOD, iPAD and iPOO. Happy 7th WAILING ANNIVERSARY !!!!

- Strictly My Opinion.
abi ooo...help me tell dem ooo

Cyph98:
Guys I'm almost dead.......I'm so perplexed that I all I can think of is dying. I'm an aspiring medic and I participated in the UTME exam conducted on the 29th of February. To cut the long intro short, I received a text message from JAMB claiming that my UTME score is 240(which I totally disagree ). They claim my composite scores are: English -47 Biology-43 ( how on earth is this score feasible) chemistry-96(was expecting 98 tho) physics -54 (funny enough I have an upper hand in physics on a normal day so I aimed for 98-100) Once again guys I need your advice, do I contact JAMB possibly for a review of my scores or just die in pains. I dedicated months towards studying every minute detail in my physics and chem textbook and this (240) is my reward SMH........BTW this is my second time of writing JAMB and I know by God's grace and my preparation I can NEVER get a score below 280, so where on earth did 240 come from
I'm sure u are just here to form genius...smh

Education / Re: How Tough Is Medicine And Surgery As A Course? by Kunlexic(m): 5:14am On Feb 16, 2016
Samgreguc:

Am running a B. Pharm here in UNIPORT and I can tell you that there is no carry over here. The least pass mark is 50%, some courses have pass mark of 60%. Been a pharmacist is indeed God's say.
As a pharmacy student I do both medical science, physical and chemical science and I can tell you that the ones I find easier is medical science. The pharmacy profession serves as a link between the physical/chemical science and medical science.
Though, the medical science stuffs is easily grabbed I guess what makes it tougher for those in the field is the standard and the fact that its d most difficult to get in Universities(as a result of competition) makes it look tough.
A surgeon(also a pharmacist) once said to his son, if you can read Pharmacy, u can read medicine 3 times.
baba hw u doing now and why uno dey show 4 dat thread again?
