Education › Oyo State Stops Payment Of WAEC Fees, Candidates To Pay N3000 by Kunlexic(op): 10:02am On Aug 20, 2015

The Oyo State Government has stopped the payment of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination registration fees for candidates in public secondary schools in the state.

The state’s Head of Service, Mr. Soji Eniade, said this in a statement in Ibadan on Wednesday.

The state said the directive would take effect from the 2015/2016 academic session, blaming the present economic situation for the decision.

It stated that pupils in secondary schools in the state would start paying N3,000 per session. But it added that the fee could be paid in three instalments of N1,000 per term.

The fee is termed Education Development Levy.

It added that the levy would complement the state government’s effort at improving infrastructure in public secondary schools across the state.

To aid administration and management of public secondary schools in the state, the statement said the government had completed plans to partner interested stakeholders.

tell me the course related to MBBS that one can study in polytechnic and after that, do direct entry. The only direct entry for MBBS n Pharmacy is for someone who has already completed a four-years degree programme in related courses. Check brochure
