Extortion is a general sickness, there supposedly be another way of reprimand for police caught in the act.
Dismissal is never a solution to trained Police officer, including military personnel.
Once you dismiss any arm trained perssionnel,you only increase the number of criminality in our society.
Such person must find other means of survival, and many will either be a collaborators to criminals by Aiding it or by fully participate in it.

Don't you think Shetima would have consulted the DSS? is it not possible that the police and the other security agencies gave him the assurance that even if such threats was real, that they were up to the task of not only preventing, but can withstand and decimate the attackers if such an attack was to happen.

But you should know that for the minister to have written such high powered letter, he must have done his security threat analysis on that area..
