skimmeh1: even at that, she can not fly with that passport which the visa was approved in. The Airlines also stick to these principle as part of flight condition. So advice your sister to go get her passport re-issued.

For the past 3 days, I have been trying to update my profile with the new DS-160 code i just filled but it kept giving me error "Error occurred while loading a visualforce page". Please what can i do as my interview is tomorrow morning.

Hi ashleybaker, I won't lie it was indeed a long flight from dubai-chicago about 14hrs 40mins (though we arrived Chicago earlier) but it was a comfortable flight because Emirates economy is d premium economy(a higher economy) of other airlines like BA. There was enough leg room so u could stretch ur legs very well. Also d crew members knew I was pregnant so they kept asking me if I was ok and kept filling my bottles with water (but toilet bcame my best friend-which was very good). U can ask for fruit as many times as u want (they will oblige u since u r pregnant). Pls do not drink .

I can imagine..... Emirates economy is indeed d premium economy of some other airlines
Thanks dear

lizcom25: Every pregnant woman have a choice to make for safety purpose. Why will you wait till 35/36 wks bfore flying? Whatever that will keep you till then is the choice you have made over safe journey and birthing
I totally disagree. .. There are some situations way beyond control

Your health and baby's health comes FIRST!!! Anybody that tells you to push it to 35 or 36 weeks won't be there to make you comfortable during the long flights and layovers! So even if it is work, beg them that you have to leave early!! The ultimate is God's protection! But we have to do our part and keep it to 34 weeks max!
Mwaaahhh. ...Thanks

Yea I saw email saying you are trying to contact me. But it didn't show the message.

My dear personally, I think you traveling at 35 weeks is pushing it. Like Bloggerina said, 34 weeks should be out MAXIMUM! Me I plan to leave in february, Like 30 Weeks so I can have a comfortable flight and rest well. I am still trying to decide between Sugarland, Tx or Phoenix. Reason being that in Texas, I can get around easily and cost of living is cheaper.

I plan to travel with my mum so we will have to rent a place in any of the cities we decide on. I am looking at all these places suggested on here. Crossland (for phoenix) and 1-bed apt in Houston, close to sugarland.
What of those that have no choice but to fly 35/36?
God be with us all! !!

nefertitiram: Hi All,
I lost my babies, poor handling in ICU here in Nigeria, even at 7 months. Another reason why everybody needs to have their baby in the US! I pray no one experiences this kind of loss in Jesus Name,
I have managed to move on. Time to go back to the drawing board, sad loss after trying for a number of years.
I cannot question God.
Woòooowww!!!!!! So sorry dearie. May God strengthen you.

You are welcome ma. I will advise you shouldnt fret over such trivials as the first headache of a VO is to establish your home ties and your ability to fund your trip, your itinerary in the US is low in order of priority. You should spend more time building "Your burden of proofs".

Incase you got your appointment letter from Doctoresparati or any other hospital that issue such, inform them to change your appointment date in the USA and send you an email effecting the change. Print same, Attach it to your appointment letter and go the embassy with it . If this route is not possible, explain your itinerary in the USA to the VO.
I already got them to change my appointment date and an email has been sent effecting the change. I guess this means I don't have to fill another form.
Thanks a bunch Sir. ...mwaaaah! !!!

Go to the DS160 page, input your old DS160 code and retrieve submitted forms. Click on cancel old application . The old form submitted will appear, change all the necessary details and print the new confirmation page with the new code. You dont need to tamper with your appointment confirmation. Go to the embassy with the new DS160 confirmation page, the old DS160 confirmation page and the old appointment
confirmation initially booked. You should be fine.
Hi Tvegas,
I filled 10th September in my DS 160 form as travel date but after submitting I got an appointment date later than my intended travel date which is end of September. Been thinking of what to do....
Please advise

You and your husband can retrieve submitted forms and fill new DS160 forms as late as a day to the interview . If you submitted the first application not more than 30 days to the day you attempt to retrieve your application. By following these steps

Yes, you need to state a date for travel ahead of your appointment to avoid refusal. Fill another DS-160.
Thanks so much and does that require a change in appointment date because I already exhausted the number of times I can change
Thank you

Hi,
I filled and submitted my ds 160 form with travel date as 10th September and 3 months as duration of stay but after submitting my form the appointment date available was 22nd September, which has changed my travel date to 2nd October and reduced my length of stay to 9weeks.
Do I fill another form or explain to the VO at the time of the interview?
Please assist me, I'm confused

Your question is not explicit. Can you please rephrase it again.
I submitted my ds form and indicated travel date as 10th September but got an appointment date of 22nd September which is past the date I filled in the ds form. .. I now intend travelling on the 2nd October. .. Do I need to fill another form?

Nita2013: Hello all,
I m MIHS bound next month as well as some other Mommas.

The cheapest accommodation so far in phoenix is Crossland Economy Studio. U can book tru extended stay on +18003987829 and tell them u want the extended stay programme. With d extended stay programme u get to pay $1200 for 60 days but to get this u av to book for minimum of 60days. But I hear from 1st October it will be higher. Also in crossland u can book for. Two double bed room.

As regards d reviews about Crossland, it's very bad but bear in mind that these reviewers r whites so little tins get to them. We have pple here that have stayed there and also some members here are there presently and they all say the place is ok. Crossland to MIHS by cab is about 15mins drive and $20/$20 back which is total of $40. By bus to and fro is about $4 but a total of 2hrs travel time (1hr going and 1hr coming back). The Mommas there said they use bus for antenatal visits and use cab when anyone is in labour. D $4 bus ticket is an all day pass.

Also as regards Zazu Pannee that's a more tushed apartment from what I av been told but they av some strict rules. They regard infant as adult. If u are going for a one bedroom in Zazu and u r goin with let's say ur mum or hubby, that makes it two persons and d rule is its a maximum of 2persons to a one bedroom thus if LO is born, d baby would be regarded as an adult thus u wud av to upgrade to two bedroom. This I was toldd when I called them and also a mail was sent to me as regards that. The lady I spoke with said it's their fire service rule. U can also call to confirm this. Their rates is weigh more than crossland.

Also there is Extended stay East Oak which is close to crossland as regards rates but it's still more expensive than Crossland and they av single beds only but from d pics, d place is nice.

There is also the one at biltmore that Blesyn83 is presently staying and she has talked about which she sayss is very good as well.

There are some apartments like Monterra, Camelback Cove etc but pls don't be deceived by the rates u see online, I personally called and they r all unfurnished apartments.

I hope I av been able to pass a little info. God bless us all
You are awesome @Nita2013
