my broda ur wrong. Firstly, priestly celibacy is not a doctrine its just a dicsiplinary measure. Secondly, i am a seminarian and i must say dat all d oda tins u said above are correct but to say dat 1st born cannot b a priest is wrong. What d church needs is ur consent and d consent of ur guardians but ur consent supercedes dats if u insist even when ur threatened by ur parents. Tks

the truth about images dat u have refused to accept is dat they are not worshiped when u bow or pray in front of them. Bowing is a sign of respect. So if u can do dat 4 mortal men y cant u do same to those who have attained perfectn in heaven

catholics often pray THROUGH CHRIST OUR LORD and we belive alsoas its stated in d bible dat our life does not end here because d soul of d just man rests with d lord so just like u can ask any xtian to pray 4 u we ask mary and d saints to pray because they are not dead but have life in christ. D bible also said dat' when we die we will be like d angels'. So if d angels are happy and rejoicing when a sinner repents dat shows dat they are aware of everythin hapenin on earth. @op, u said d quran is about 1400 yr, but d bible is more than dat and christianity is more dan 2000 yr. Ur problem is understanding d scripture like many other so called christians who do not. A genuine encounter wit jesus will make u really know dat he is lord(God). Everyhuman is a child of God so d passage does not refer directly to u but to d spirit world. Am sure u do not claim to know d spirit world. D devil trembles at d name of God. U must undastand dat jesus never promised dat we are never gonna be attacked or go tru hardship but dat in blivin in him, we are sure of victory

@op For me, d bible is not my final authority so i will not quote d bible here. But ur questn is quite simple to ans in a layman's way. Grace is d help we receive from God to enable us make proper use of our freewill in order to reach our destiny. D passage u quoted was not talking about certain people who are predestind. In fact we are all predestnd to b saved but the fact is dat because of our freewill we are not all going to make use of God's grace. So its just telling u dat God wants all to b saved by his grace but he is not going to force it on us but by making use of our freewill we shall get there. Tks
