i've noticed this phenomenom too. True Christlike christian love is rare. Love is pain. Carrying another person's burden is uncomfortable. In the area of love most are shallow nd hav no deep roots.
But we shouldnt judge others too harshly, if you were in their shoes,would you hav loved to the end? Most likely,you'd hav done like they did. Loved for a day but frwn the next day when they needed your help.
Most ppl begin to resent you when u need their help. They give but it's out of tolerance. Some are secretly gleefully delighted that you are down. Many want you to stay down and never rise. The heart of man being wicked !

Am not judging anyone harshly, will never judge anyone, just narrated my experience. I may not be perfect but i know i would have helped if i were to be in their shoes. I never expected any of them to carry my burden because there was no burden to carry, all i needed was advice and just a little guidance based on the word of God on what i should do, it's not like i came begging for material assistance of any form. If we as Christian can't help others find the light in Christ, then we have failed woefully in our duties as Christians. It is our duty to preach this gospel and show the part of light to those wallowing in darkness and the bondage of Satan. The core tenet of Christianity is love and if we don't have that love in our hearts, then Christ is not living in us.

well… you can't blame them… I've heard of some very unfortunate (i don't know if i can use that word) cases than yours… I've even experienced some but I always make sure i don't take them to heart because if they're not dealt with, they can lead someone so quickly and and so deep into secret rebellions that you will not believe the evil the individual have become…

And I'm of the opinion that it is this kind of 'betrayals' or disappointments that give rise to some very terrible atheists…

I implore you do not be sad. Many years back in school I ran to a Church for financial assistance. They helped me the first time but when I came the second time, what the elder said and the way he looked at me made me wish I was never born.

Gradually, as I grow in the Lord I even began to avoid open invitations to be helped. The people you confide in sometimes use what they know about you against you and for their own profit. And there is the problem of friends or best friends betrayal. These hurt like barbwire when they betray and try to outsmart you. If you like a girl or a thing, they would start from there.

Bible says be innocent (harmless) as a dove and cunning like a serpent. Being a Christian is not a call to be foolish or to live at ease in Zion. You might be enjoying your sleep while the ants have dug the ground beneath you. But to be positive, that is what makes a child of God to be tried and tested. If you do not overcome anything, how would their be a reward? And if you do not overcome how can you be a light and example to others? This is the behaviour of stars that bible compares us to...some shines brightest like the alpha star, while blackhole gulps light out of space and destroy by swallowing everything in its paths.

Consider not the ways of the wicked, look, learn and be wise. If you did not experienced all these, we wont have read about this beautiful encouragement from you to manifest love!

I go through this thread everytime, read people's comments, contributions and revelation, I feel inspired each time. Through this thread I learnt a lot. I have learnt more on this thread than in any other thread created on nairaland or even in some websites I visit. But then I remember the encounter I had with some contributors on this thread and I get sad.

There was a time I was in need of very deep spiritual help. I didn't know where to start, I was confused, I wasn't close to Christ at the time, I had no spiritually mentor and the church I attended didn't believe in spiritual warfare, my friends were carnally minded, they will just think am insane if I narrated my experience to them. I couldn't narrate my experience to my family because it will get them more worried and I didn't want that. It was as though I was drowning with no one in site to help.

Then I found this thread, it was as if I stumbled on a gold mine, I believed all my problems were over. I still believe God led me here.
I reached out to some contributors here privately because I didn't want to narrate long stories online. I was very desperate, I needed spiritual guidance . I knew the devil was after my life, I was seeing myself lost in the dream and surrounded by the dead. I knew it was just a matter of time before that will happen.

When I got a reply from some contributors I sent a pm to, I was very happy , I felt my problems were over. In the cause of my interacting with them, I discovered that some had no interest in helping me, some helped for awhile and ignored me, others just judged me or ignored me completely. Some helped.
I was sad and disappointed but I thank God for mfm, God really used the church to do wonders in my life.

In the cause of my interactions with some "good" Christians, I discovered some of us lacked genuine Christian love in our hearts. We profess that we love God sing and pray all the time, we even go for evangelism but deep inside is hate, selfishness and judgemental thoughts.

It doesn't matter if the person is the worst sinnner, or of a different denomination or religion as you. God has a reason for bringing strangers our way.
Maybe it's through you the person will receive salvation.
Imagine what would have happened had it been Ananaias ignored Paul.
If you cannot love and help those in need , how can you claim to love God?


Let's all always meditate on 1 Corinthians 13:1 " though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass or clanging cymbal ".

For some few years now I notice each time i want to sleep at night there's a tap sound on my wardrobe or on the casement window or door. This continued for years and i had to move out of the flat to another location and it continues. The sound normally happens few minute when i am about to sleep and minutes i am awake.

Defininately, I know we're not alone in this planet cos of my encounters and experiences but my question is even if this event is a demonic presence why cant it quietly come in without the sound since its obvious i know about the energy presence.

who've had this experience should relate and profer remedy and oh too many delays in my life but God have everything on speeddail.

Remember, no creepy movement, no inappropriate happenstance just the tap sound on the wardrobe.

So many people will try convincing you that the problem is just in your head or maybe it's a wall gacko or even a domestic pest.
It's not in your head and it's not a pest. I has similar experience except in my own case the noise continues for the whole day, it was coming from my ceiling . It's gets worse after serious night prayers. Later on I discovered it was a demon. I remember the day I confronted it in my night prayers and it came after me in the dream. You are being haunted by an evil presence. They love to hide in the dark.

If it's really a demon changing apartments won't solve the problem, it will just keep following you everywhere you go.

I Know what the problem is because of my experiences but I can't detail everything online due to some personal reasons.

Solution : start praying seriously or you can get a real pastor to come pray in your house.

2. Since the noise comes from the wardrobe, start leaving your wardrobe doors open for sunlight to penetrate it. Demons hates light.

3. Never allow anyone convince you that what you are feeling is not real.

4. Don't be afraid of it.

1. CAUSE: In trying to deduce the cause for this dream, I noticed that you WERE NOT SURE YOU WERE PREGNANT. Also you went to the hospital but did not see yourself giving birth to the babies. When looking for the CAUSE of a dream, you must ask yourself the root question...IS THIS DREAM MEANT FOR ME OR FOR SOMEONE ELSE?. Obviously it seemed to me that you will not give birth to those babies (because you also exhibited an I don't care attitude in the dream: you did not breast feed or cloth the babies, and also someone else took care of them and not you, and when an extra baby boy was added, you could still not account or tell that it was your baby) so it meant highly likely that the dream was not meant for you but probably God was showing you something pertaining to the father of the babies.

I once dreamed I was with a family friend, a widower woman named Ruth and while we were discussing and laughing, I began to die... I felt as though I left my physical body and began to float in the spirit realm. When I woke up I was very troubled because this could mean that I was going to die soon. But the greatest logical sense was for me to apply the CAUSE and EFFECT reasoning to come to conclusion that she was going to die and not me, because it must be that I simply experienced her thoughts and feelings while dying, or else why was I with her in the dream? So having joggled this in my brain till I was 100% it was not meant for me, I went and warned the brother of Ruth that he should start praying for her as I had a bad dream. She died a year later!

Alternatively, you could test this hypothesis to verify the CAUSE and EFFECT of the dream. Since it was just a mere dream, may be a troubling dream for that matter for you to seek public advice, you have to call and relate the dream to the man that you knew as the father of those babies in the dream. You have to tell him what you dreamed about honestly. But please, for CHRIST sake, free your mind because you will never know what to expect as his response... let me explain.

3. EXAMPLE: Years back, I went to church and was attending the foundation class, when the most beautiful girl in the class befriended me. The name of my tribe triggered something powerful in her memory and I could see she was really struggling with something... I was thinking she would say may be the dream meant that we would get married in the future. Rather she said, "Can I confide in you? I was in a very ugly relationship where I was badly hurt. But I meet a new guy one day who was very nice and was able to help me overcome my ugly past, and he is now my fiance, and i am in a marriage relationship with him...I LOVE HIM and He loves me too. He is from your tribe." What a coincidence? When I HEARD THIS I was heart broken. Why was she using me as a second fiddle to pass time, if she was already in LOVE with another guy? After that day she did not come close to me again all because of my dream!

In this dream I was pregnant but wasn't really sure I was pregnant. So I decided to visit the hospital. There at the hospital, I delivered quadruplets. Didn't really see myself delivering the babies in the dream but I knew I gave birth. They were all girls. Very cute and chubby looking babies. I took the babies back home to my mom and asked her to help me dress up the babies. I dropped them with her and left. When I came back I discovered that they were still naked and another baby boy was also lying were I kept the babies, making it a total of 5 babies. I asked my mom why she didn't dress them up and she told me that I didn't provide any clothes for her. In this dream I had no money, so I asked her to dress them up with my younger brother's old clothes. The ones he wore as a baby. So she did. My mom wasn't happy in the dream because I had babies out of wedlock. I wasn't sad in the dream, my emotions were inbetween happy and indifference.
I was more concerned about what my having babies out of wedlock will do to the image of our family and worse was that I had no finance to take care of them. I was also wondering what my dad will do when he comes home to see the babies. I was also wondering what sane man will marry a single lady with 4 babies.
The father of the babies in the dream was a man I knew briefly, I was also contemplating how I will break the news to him given the fact that he didn't know I was pregnant.
In the dream I refused to breastfeed them because I was shy. I will occasionally pick anyone of them up that is crying and console her. I remember calling one of them Olive.

It's been awhile since the deliverance, i still face different battles but at least i now know what the problem is.
The tingling sensation has reduced drastically. I still perceive the stench once in awhile, when am alone in the house. I know it's a demon.
I can now put my feet on the bare floor. I have also noticed some significant changes in some other areas.
I no longer see the black crow on the roof.

They still do all soughts of things to scare me. Some weeks back, i had a very terrible nightmare. I woke up and checked the time and it was midnight. I just laid down on the bed and prayed, one mind told me to stand up and pray. I stood up and started praying, immediately i heard the noise of the crow on top of my roof, i continued praying, it flew out and was making a very terrible sound as it was flying. I continued praying till i could no longer hear the sound. I went back to bed and had another nightmare, i woke up again to pray and the time was 4pm, as i started praying, i started hearing the noise of this bird again. I continued praying till it flew away, making the sound as it was flying.
They will do everything to discourage you and doubt if God is really answering your prayers. They will haunt you so that you will get scared and stop praying but don't stop no matter what.

Am only sharing this experience to help some other persons who might be planing on going for a deliverance. I know that the testimonies and experiences shared here have helped me a lot, so it will be selfish of me not to share mine.

So if you are planning on going for a deliverance, Just know that after the deliverance you still have battles to fight. The devil will fight you with everything, including temptations, make up your mind before you go and get involved with the things of God more it really helps.

Though am not a member of mfm, i go for their weekly activities and this has helped me a lot.

Some of your problems might not automatically disappear after the deliverance, some of mine have not disappeared. Just keep praying and believing that God is able to do all things.

I was happy after the deliverance and i thought my battles were over but i never knew it just began.
First thing i noticed after the deliverance was that i started forgetting my dreams, no matter how hard i tried, i never remembered. Sometimes i ask God to help me remember and he does.
I still felt the tingling sensation all over my body. I couldn't sleep with light off, not because i was too scared but because each time i switch off the light the sensation becomes worse and the stench becomes stronger.
I couldn't put my feet on the floor, i worked around the house on flip flops. Each time i put my legs on the floor, the sensations increased. I made the mistake of lying down on the floor on the second day of the deliverance. My bare back was on the floor, the sensation became very strong, i stood up and saw a very deep cut on my back.
After the deliverance, satan fought me in so many ways, first i noticed i became irritated easily, this lasted for a couple of days.
After that, i was swept with an overpowering sadness. I became very sad for no apparent reason. I will be very happy in the house but become very sad once i get to the office, i lot interest in office work, all i wanted to do was go back to the house, cover myself and cry. It happened the first day and as i was about going home, sometimes happened and i didn't go home again, it happened again the 2nd day and by the 3rd time I noticed this was another ploy from the devil, so whenever the sadness came, i fought it. It stopped.

I even met this friend who knew what i was going through, this guy tried preaching to me how powerful the devil and marine spirits were and how difficult it is to overcome them. Most of his words were discouraging but i refused to be discouraged. I just told him that i don't care how powerful the devil is, that what is more important is that Jesus is most powerful and that if God can divide the red sea, then he can and will save me.

Some old male friends all of a sudden started flirting with me and i just cut it out. Some that have not even called for ages started calling and want to hang out. Satan can use anybody to tempt you after your deliverance. All he wanted was to get me to commit any kind of sexual sin, so that he can come back in full force and take over my life.
If you are seeking deliverance from marine stronghold, you must be ready to become sexually pure, don't even fantasize about sex any atom of sexual immorality on your part will draw them closer to you.

From my experience, i noticed that he will do everything to keep you in the dark. He will never want you to find out the real problem because when you don't know the cause, you can't really fight effectively.
Even at a time it started fighting anyone who tries to help me spiritually. It was determined to enslave me forever but God proved he was more powerful than thousands of legions of demons.

Even with kind of dreams i was having then, i still couldn't tell what the problem was, the signs were so glaring. It was as though i was blinded spiritually.
I was dreaming of water, standing beside river banks. Seeing myself being seduced in the dream, though i never had sex in the dream. I was even sometimes being seduced by animals in the dream. Imagine being seduced by a wall gecko, devil is a liar.
When its as though am about figuring out the problem, he will give me another dream that will confuse me.

Do you know that this spirit from the marine kingdom will appear to me in different forms in the dream to give me all kinds of counterfeit messages. I used to think then that it was messages from God. Lol.
It told me once that a male neighbour of mine took my slippers to the shrine, that he was the cause of my problems . It never revealed the identity of the male neighbour, i have so many male neighbours.

Thinking that this dream was from God, i started fasting and asked God to reveal the witch attacking me, on the second day of my fast, i sleep at night and woke up to see finger nail scratches on my back. I thought it must be the witch attacking me because of my fast. But God in his infinite mercy answered my prayers when though i was making the wrong request. He gave me dreams pointing me to the cause of my problems.

This spirit even told me that my cousin was the reason why i never got back together with my Ex whereas, my cousin has never even met this Ex of mine. Satan is a liar.

I visited one white garment prophetess, that claimed to know the cause of people's problems. This woman told me that my problem is from a woman in my village, when i asked the name of the woman, she couldn't say. Birds of a feather.

They will do anything to confuse you and prevent you from knowing the truth, so sometimes, that convincing dream might not necessarily be from God. This problem started since 2011 and am just discovering the cause this year. The devil kept me in the dark for seven(7) good years.

After this discovery, i posted a couple of my dreams dreams here and some other persons helped too.

So i headed to mfm for deliverance. Before this deliverance, i noticed something. I live in a large compound with four different storey buildings. One of the building is facing mine directly and i live on the last floor. Each time i come out of my balcony i see this big black crow on top of the building facing mine, it was always there every time of the day. I always see it whenever i come out. This bird always seem to be staring at me.
Initially i taught nothing of it but only wondered how it feeds since it never goes out.

I registered for 3days weekend deliverance in MFM but i wasn't sleeping in the church. Till today, i can't figure out how i managed to fast for 3days. God was with me throughout the deliverance program, i was never hungry which is highly unlike me. One the first day of the deliverance everything seemed cool, i had a beautiful night rest but all hell broke lose on the second day. I was very happy when i came back to my house, i even sang and danced.
At about 10pm, the air was filled with this strong stench that i can't described. Immediately, it was as though somebody poured a bag of pins into my body. I felt a tingling sensation all over my body, it was a horrible experience. I heard voices but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I tried sleeping but couldn't, had very strong night mares each time i closed my eyes. I had a dream where someone wanted to trickishly make me pledge allegiance to satan, i even dreamt and saw myself standing by the door of the deliverance hall and someone came inside the church, removed my seat, placed another sit in the position and asked me to sit down but i refused. I was so cared, so i started singing hymns, immediately i started, the stench went away, the tingling reduced and i stopped hearing the voices. I prayed and went to bed.
I was woken up by the noise of a bird on top of my roof at 4am, i believe its the same crow that i always see on the roof of the adjacent building facing mine. It was making so much noise and i started hearing the voices again. I was so scared even though the light was on. I went showered, dressed up for church. Waited till 6am and then headed to church.

I noticed that i excelled in other areas except in relationships. Every guy i meet wants to sleep with me. i dont indulge them anyway, but i still couldn't figure out why it was happening. I don't dress indecently, neither am i ugly nor behave in a way that suggests am available for sex. When i get to meet a guy I really like, for no reason, they stop communicating with me.
This has been the pattern for several years. I couldn't figure out why until i found this thread.
I came across this thread last year December, initially i just enjoyed reading the spooky stories even though it made me so scared at bedtime.
At a time i started being attacked spiritually after going through the thread, i sleep and have all kinds of horrible dreams, so i had to stop viewing the thread.

So this year, i believe God directed me to this thread again, for some weird reason, initially i was reading only CharlyG1's comments. I was amazed at his understanding of spiritual things, i was prompted to send him a pm. I wanted to know if he can help me figure out what the problem is. I sent him a couple of my dreams and he interpreted them.
From the interpretation, i discovered that i was being haunted by an ancestral spirit that wants me to worship and serve it and by a marine spirit that wanted me to be the wife.

Let me share my experience with paranormal activities.



Right from my undergraduate days, i have always felt there is something wrong with me but i couldn't figure out what it was. The devil blinded me spiritually, so i was unable to tell what my problem was even though i knew i wasn't normal. God started showing me somethings in the dream but because i was carnally minded, i didn't even understand the dreams, so i just waved them aside. In some occasions i approached some men of God to help me interpret these dreams but they interpreted them wrongly. I only discovered recently that they have been interpreting the dreams wrongly.

Please be careful who you ask to help interpret your dreams

Gradually my life and taste started changing, i couldn't see what what was wrong then by now i do.
Aside the creepy dreams i was having, i noticed i became drawn more to dark mysteries. Others go on YouTube for entertainment and to learn, instead i watch dark videos about demons and the devil. I had more than 300 saved offline videos and all were about dark mysteries. I was only interested in learning about haunted houses and demons on google. I couldn't listen to Christian songs, it just wasn't my kind of music.
My choice of clothes changed too. While growing up, i used to love dressing in beautiful colors but all of a sudden i started hating colourful clothes. Then i will go to the boutique and buy only back clothes. You hardly see me dressed in anything but black, at the time, i didn't see anything wrong with it, i just thought that perhaps my taste had changed with age.

In one occasion, i even went to one church for deliverance. It was a four days deliverance program, on the night of the third day i dreamed that i was at the back of the church. I saw this snake that has been tormenting me, it looked very small and was sleeping. I wanted to kill it but one mind asked me to leave it. So i left it and entered inside the church. While in the church i looked back and saw that the snake was getting bigger it got so big, turned to a masquerade, climbed over the church and left. After this dream, i went to the church the next day for final deliverance, i wanted to see the pastor personally but he refused seeing me even though he told me previously to see him.
After this deliverance my problems went from bad to worse.


When i found Christ, i started praying to be delivered from whatever was afflicting me. I was praying based on the dream interpretations i was given, i prayed for months but i saw no change, instead things were getting worse.

Let me share a testimony.
Few months back, my mom and other ladies in our church travelled for annual national women convention. On the second day of the convention, one of the women received a call from home that her younger sister who is due for delivery had just died and about to be taken to the mortuary. The woman started crying and was unconsolable, the pastors and the church members present started praying and asked God to raise the lady who was dead. After praying for about an hour, the woman received a call that the lady who was dead has risen and about to be taken to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctors said that the woman can only deliver through operation. When the information reason the church, they started praying again and in few minutes time they received a second call that the woman has delivered naturally.
There is really nothing impossible for God to do.

Last month I had this dream. In the dream I left my room at midnight to fetch water downstairs. Before I get to the tap, I have to pass the car park, as I was passing by the car park, I heard a strange demonic noise, I got scared and ran into my neighbours room downstairs. When I entered the room I met three persons in the room including my neighbour. After awhile, I decided it was time to get back to my room, when I came out of the room, I couldn't find my slippers, so I had to wear some else's.
As I was leaving by 6am, I saw a group of persons who were praying for God's blessings for the new month which is this month "November", so I decided to join them to pray but I had no scarf to cover my hair, I asked a lady standing close to me to give me one of her scarf because she was with many, instead of her giving me the beautiful scarf she opted for the black ugly one. I had no choice so I took it.




I have always dreamt of misplacing my shoes or clothes and wearing the one belonging to someone else that is not as beautiful as the one I lost.
I also dream of seeing someone else each time I look at my face in the mirror in the dream and usually the person is not as beautiful as myself.
I also dream of being called by a different name in the dream other than my name.

You have to pray hard against this one. It is not a good dream.
New clothes can represent 'New Lifestyle', 'Change in Lifestyle', 'New Glory' etc.

When you are about to get these new clothes, somehow it gets finished when it comes to your turn. What this means is that anytime you're about to get the best of something (near success syndrome), a spirit comes in and makes sure you don't get the best, but you get the worse of things.

This thing is done by a demonic spirit. It's usually known as the 'Spirit of worse'. It prevents a person from achieving a glorious goal, so there can be no promotion or huge success in it's victim's life.


This spirit always follows a person wherever they go and shoots down (destroy) or steal the blessings of it's victim. It is a very wicked and stubborn spirit that must be confronted in spiritual warfare. If this spirit is not confronted and overcome in prayers, the person involved will have very slow progress, hardship, near success syndrome (always about to make it, but it fails just at the injury time).


You must come against this spirit in prayer using the blood of Jesus and the word of God, so that you can get your new clothes (new glory, change in status, promotion, breakthrough etc.)

God will give you the grace to overcome in Jesus Name. Amen

Thanks so much. You are correct. It has been happening to me for some years now, it has always been a struggle to cross to the next level. The devil has always found ways to frustrate my efforts, even my prayer life. Its just as if my life is moving around in circles.
Sometimes it seems as though things are about to change, then all of a sudden I return to Square 1. Sometimes I just feel like giving up, its so exhausting, don't even know where to start. Whenever sometimes good is about happening to me I start seeing myself back in high school in the dream and once I have this dream the good thing am expecting will not happen even if I pray after the dream. Even praying can be tough, once I start praying frequently, I start eating in the dream and after having this dream, I find it extremely hard to pray. If I manage to continue praying, then I start forgetting my dreams and the circle continues. Please, can you give me guidelines on how to overcome this spirit and perhaps prayer points. Thanks.

I see myself sometimes in a boutique or in the market trying to buy clothes. I also see people there too buying
beautiful dresses, I admire the dresses they purchased but when it gets to my turn all that will be left will be the black dresses that are not so beautiful. Sometimes I buy it.

I have been trying to understand this dream but I don't.

I dreamt that I was in my parents living room. I was in the room with my younger brother, my mom and my cousin sister. In the dream, we had a mirror in the living room. I was looking at the mirror, instead of seeing my image the image I was seeing was that of someone else. As I was looking at the mirror, the room started getting dark and was covered in darkness. Immediately two bats flew into the room. My family members who were with me were afraid. So I started praying and singing. As I was praying, the bats kept flying around the room. I was chasing one of them until I caught it. After catching it, it turned to an insect and started running. I chased it until I killed it. After killing it, I put it into the fire. As I was going back to the living room to kill the second bat, I saw my cousin sister coming out of the living room. When I entered the living room, the second bat was gone. I remember suspecting that it was my cousin sister that is the second bat in the dream.
I had this this dream some months ago after a three day fasting and prayer. Please what does it mean.

Yes its possible although the process is tedious and there is no guarantee that it will be changed, if they discover that you have a fraudulent intent, they will withhold the result. WAEC made a mistake in my DOB and this is the process I took to get it corrected.
1.You will bring the original copy of your secondary school WAEC album of the year of graduation.
2. Your birth certificate or a sworn age declaration that most be dated before the year you wrote WAEC.
3. You will bring a letter from the principal of your school, introducing the errors made in your certificate and also stating that you attended the school.
4. You will pay the sum of 15000 into WAEC account at the bank.
5. You will fill two forms in WAEC office .
6.finally you will be asked to submit your original WAEC certificate.
If you are successful, they will submit your corrected WAEC certificate to your secondary school after a period of 6months.

Things don't work in their lives and country. They must say "Yes Sir, Yes ma" to every small boy or girl that seniors them in some way in life.
