A one month old baby girl was raced to the children's hospital after her mother accidentally mixed her formula with vodka instead of water. The infant had a blood alcohol level of almost 0.294 - almost four times the 0.08 driving limit - when she was admitted to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Her mother said the baby had consumed 2 oz of vodka unbeknownst to her. She said after she gave the infant her bottle on Monday night, her hands and toes became red and her legs started shaking.The 20-year-old mother, who has not been identified, told police that her 22 year old bf, Brian Smith, was staying with her and had emptied out a bottle of water on the kitchen counter and replaced it with the strong liquor without telling her.

A California man whose house caught fire decided to run back inside just to save the barbecue meat he had been spending time to prepare before the fire started.

The man whose name is Robert Wright couldn’t bear to watch his food burn to ashes so sprinted back into the burning building while risking his life in order to rescue the tasty dish.

A two year old boy has just been saved after being breastfed by a dog. The starving boy was abandoned by his parents and was miraculously rescued by the pregnant dog.

Naked and dirty, he was discovered in a rundown mechanic’s workshop in Chile on Thursday. Mirror reported, his drunken mother left him there without food or water.

Local media in Arica report he was seen sipping on milk from the dog – called ‘Reina’. The neglected baby, who police say hardly had any clothes on and looked badly neglected, was spotted by his neighbour Lory Escudero.

She said: “Our dog is pregnant and the hungry boy suckled on the dog’s teats for milk.

“We’re all parents and if you saw what we saw, from my position as a woman, as a mother, it was terrible.”

Chelsea coach who is fondly referred to as the ‘Special One’, Jose Mourinho has been given a ground-breaking honour as he was awarded with four different awards by the Guinness Book of World Records.

52-year-old Mourinho was presented with the certificates of award by the GBWR team for achieving these four incredible feats: The most Points in a Premier League season (95), most Champions League’s won at different clubs (two), youngest manager to reach 100 Champions League games (49 years 12 days) and most games unbeaten at home in the Premier League (77).

In appreciation of the special recognition, the Chelsea manager said, “The fact that I can hang these awards in my office is nice. It’s something fun and as a kid you could never imagine that one day you would be in Guinness World Records Book. An airport cleaner has been arrested with the sum of $271,135 (about N53m) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, it has been learnt.

The suspect was arrested by the aviation security personnel of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria while trying to carry the huge sum of money through the screening point.

The airport worker, named Mr. Tijani Owolabi, works with one of the cleaning contractors at the airport, according to a FAAN statement.

The statement quoted the Deputy General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Mr. Onyekwere Nnaekpe, as saying that some of the foreign currency was found on Owolabi while the rest was recovered from the sanitary bucket he was holding while trying to pass through screening machine.

Nnaekpe said the agency suspected that Owolabi was conveying the currency to an accomplice at the airside of the airport.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, has accused the head pastor of Household of God Church, Chris Okotie, of trying to destroy his marriage at all cost.

The actor in a statement, said he was crying out because of the “desperate desperation” of Okotie to destroy his home.

Emeka Ike said he was compelled to alert the whole world of the “devil” behind the plot to destroy his home, after all efforts to beg his wife to drop the divorce bid failed.
The actor accused Okotie of hiring a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) for his wife just for the purpose of ruining his home.

He alleged that Okotie gave his wife about N500,000 for her mother’s burial and also bought her a blackberry passport phone. He further revealed that every Sunday, Okotie would call his wife out in church with other single women and ask that gifts should be given to them.

He alleged that Okotie with another man in the church helped his wife to secure a job without his consent.

It was an incredibly heroic moment when a man prevented a dangling little girl from falling by her neck from a fourth floor window with a broom.

The girl had fallen out of her apartment and got herself wedged in the metal bars.

News sources report that the man named Wang Baoping heard her screams as he walked past the building and quickly rushed up the stairs to rescue her. He had to hang on the window of a neighbouring building where he used the mop to prop the girl up for 20 minutes before she was pulled back inside by her parents.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Tuesday, promised to tackle the issue of crude‎ oil theft with the deployment of drones across the nation’s territorial waters to monitor the inwards and outwards movement of oil vessels.

In a statement by the NNPC in Abuja, Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu‎, also lamented the ‎rising incidence of crude oil theft and its negative impact on the country’s refineries, and stated that the NNPC is working on a range of far reaching options designed to end the issue of crude and petroleum products theft within the next eight months.

Kachikwu, who stated this at the special conference on Security in the Gulf of Guinea organized by the Gusau Institute, warned that if left unchecked, the menace could invariably make it impossible for the NNPC to operate the refineries.
