There are spouses with sick partners who have altogether had to give up on sex altogether because for them there are more important things in marriage than sex. It is irresponsible for a man to leave his spouse for a long period of time in a bid to searching for greener pastures. This defeats the main purpose of marriage, which is companionship.

Nothing can be as evil as expecting a sexually active woman to stay celibate for a long period of time after you've intentionally plunged her into a state of emotional ennui and solitude; it is sheer wickedness.
