Midgut:No economic magic will stop the inflation, none at all, the reason is simple, oil prices. Check out countries like Angola, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Google how their economy is fairing, Saudi Arabia is far better because they have a reserver of over 300bn dollars . We import almost everything, when dollars was more than $100 per barrel, we were receiving so much dollars, price of dollars was down because we had so much of it but oil is $40 dollars per barrel, and coupled with militancy, we are not generating enough dollar revenue, which means dollars is scares, which means price of dollars go up which means price of imported commodities go up. Short time solution, militancy stop their activities, and we sell our oil, hope for a big miracle that oil prices go up again. The talk about diversification is to export more and import less which will take years to achieve. Truth is, we have messed up as a country, disadvantage of oil dependent nation. |

The person behind the African zone fact doesn't know anything, he just makes assumptions, ask for real value, how much worth is mikel obi, no idea. |
chosen6:Young people are known to die of high blood pressure, please, just an advice, concentrate on good things. This life has no duplicate. Even fayose has decided to keep quiet and have a peace of mind. |
These useless avengers are so scared, they government is busy dealing with militants in the West, and the avengers in the south South, who have no business in the matter want to have a say,. If the militants in the West are avengers, it clearly shows the militants carrying out crimes in the West are Ijaw militants, we all can see the avengers sympathizing with them. The avengers are on alert and believe that the government will soon come for them, smh. Like seriously what's avengers business in what happens in the south west, over Sabi people. Any small thing, innocent women and children, where the avengers blind when this militants went on a killing spree,? Killing Landlords, destroying innocent people? |
This thread will be a ghost town, no tribal bigotry to display. Thumbs up, if you want to succeed in the business world , you need to make and keep the right connections. |
freecocoa:You are right, the mayor was a simple guy, the director wanted to kill off his character, I kept waiting to see if Emily action will come back to hunt her but obviously it won't. Emily has no record of being violent, so why make her do that. If it was tulip that did that, we will understand. |
The quality of opinion on this site is terrible, it has gone bad. |
The phone goes for about 250k, I agree she is saving And used her money to buy the phone but she also has support from her boyfriend. She doesn't sleep around for sure. For one to be able to save and buy a phone worth 250k simply means they don't have bills to pay. If one is saving to buy phone, the person shouldn't be saving at all. You save for rainy days not luxury goods unless you have other source of income. |
You people should please relax and think, that topic has nothing to do with security as regards the activities of the avengers. It's simply a land dispute, the Navy says the acquire the land from the state government, so whats tg the issue, the people should simply sue if they feel the state government did wrong or land was illegally acquired. |
Preacher is such a very crazy and funny show without them trying so hard to be, what happened to the mayor, never say it coming, lol. 'The night of' brilliant TV drama so far, they way they introduced the characters as the show goes along is good. Good storyline honestly. I'm pessimistic how far the show can go but ready to be impressed. |
I thought the southern part of the country were peaceful to corpers |
Vikings007:Help me ask o, It clearly says states, not oil producing village, The people appointed are from the state, the senator problem is that they are not from the village or town the oil is sited which is unbelievable because that isn't what the law says. |
This guy is not making sense |
bykebyke:Hahaha, he is actually my favorite character in the show. |
The ExxonMobil denial of an attack is really paining avengers, see how how they are desperate to convince the world that an attack took place, lol. Avengers have always denied, they never admit, no surprise they deny the Navy arrested one of them, honestly it's no big deal, not like they don't have enough militants but they just want to maintain the mystery of being powerful and keep up with the propaganda. Please they should carry on with bombing other pipelines na, Why are they threatening innocent workers, |
misspetit:For me yes, two episode so far, the storyline is cool, I just want to know how it's gonna end. If you don't like the first episode, then just forget the second episode. |
guiddoti:No they are not, that's why I said one is tempted to attribute it to them because of politics. The governor is solely responsible here. |
There is no money, This is the state government responsibility, every state in this country is facing challenges but politics won't allow us to come together and move forward. One is tempted not to care, the first thing that came to mind was that the students should go and bomb pipeline and keep themselves busy doing so. Since January, bayelsa didn't the pay the lecturers, unbelievable, a small state with with large allocation. Smh |
Stranger thing:, it's brilliant, originality, and it's cool. Watched the entire season 1 of eight episode in a day. Preacher : awesome too, typical AMC show. I like the theme |
Hahaha, why is it paining this avengers that ExxonMobil denies any attack, they should attack and move on. They keep saying government should heed their demands, but what are these demands? This government won't negotiate with them, so please they should carry on, are they tired of attacking bayelsa and delta state, they should continue and permanently destroy every pipeline in both bayelsa and delta state. |
Goodness me, what sort of rubbish is this, It's easy to believe this news because most of us don't know the structure of nnpc, the op could be right or wrong, but most likely right because no one can prove him wrong. I enjoy doing research work, let me prove op wrong Number 6 caught my attention, we have only one GMD, the overall head, which is baru, the correct title is GED downstream but again the current GED downstream isn't the same as the name the op wrote. Number 3, the present GGM of red is rabiu Suleman not Suleman achimugu Number 9 the present GGM for COMD is mele kayri not what the op wrote. Number 4, the present GGM of ITD is danaladi inuwa not what what the op wrote. Number 5 Mrs Abdulrahman has retired, yes she served as GGM retail but retired in 2009, Google her name to confirm. Shaking my head. Who is next sef, public holiday, I get time small Number 7,George Osahon is the former GGM of NCD, he is presently a director in DPR which means someone else is the GGM of NCD, Google the name and see for yourself. Smh Number 2, you are right, sola Alabi was once GGM greenfield project but that was in 2007, he is presently retired and manages one private servicing company like Source: premiumtimes and Google. |
What about push up bank account? |
Avengers will come later and deny ever having a meeting with Duncan mighty. |
NLjona:The picture wasn't taken by mistake, it was deliberate, the op doesn't know the true story. The lady took the picture and uploaded it on Instagram and tag her 'friend' to come and take her dad away. The goal was to publicly prove she sleeps with her friend's dad,. Quite unfortunate anyway |
You will the story is false the moment you get to the part where she said people are trying to cover their tracks by linking her name, claiming her passport was stolen last year, lol. The investigation was carried out in USA by the FBI, and the aisha buhari name was there in 2009. Where is this aisha speaking from? Smh If you look at the report, she is making it look like she is being targeted typical of a Nigeria mentality, nobody cares about her. The entire story is false, |
Lol, what a source, a soft sell magazine. |
The NDA are lying, all they do is deny,. They lied about bombing of pipeline in akwa ibom state, why lie about that, the police and community have confirmed there was no attack but pipeline leak. The NDA want to make themselves mysterious, hidden but heard, it could be possible they never thought the meeting was going to be known by the public, hence the denial. The NDA don't want to disappoint their fans hence the Denial, they don't want to appear cheap. |
shogat:I believe you, I don't use glo but airtel but noticed same thing today, I subscribed for 3.5gb and I was shocked after a week it waswas gone. So today I subscribe for 12gb, i have an app that helps me monitor phone data consumption, the app says I have consumed 70mb, I checked my data balance, close to 140mb was deducted. I checked airtel website, to be fair, they Said from 6am to 10pm data rate is 2kobo per kb while from 10pm to 6 am the data rate is 1kobo per 1kb. My guess is, from 10pm, normal data rate consumption. It clearly shows this telecoms are not really giving cheap data as they want us to believe. |
agarawu23:where will that parallel market get their dollars from and for how much? CBN won't be selling dollars to any bank at a fixed rate anymore, and it's only occasionally CBN will enter the market to sell dollars to anybody. With the floating policy, CBN won't be meeting anybody demand, CBN hand no dey, just occasionally when needs arise. The BDC and banks are now one and the same thing, what you gonna have is BDC and and banks selling and buying dollars at their own. |
The good thing is the woman selling garri in the market won't increase her price claiming dollars don increase. I've been against floating of the naira because of greed bankers but over time I see that the fixed rate didn't eliminate that greed, rather it created cheap millionaires over night, one person goes to CBN and buys dollars for 199 naira, quickly goes to BDC sells it for 290 naira, almost 100% profit for doing nothing, with the new policy, no such thing. If you hear how bankers make money selling dollars eh, the people who need the dollars don't get it official rate so whats the point of having an official rate of 199 naira. Dangote will be getting cheap dollars at 199 naira per dollars while students who need to pay school fees or those with medical needs abroad get it at 320 naira per dollar. Oil prices are down, revenue are down, reserve is running down trying to defend the naira for the common man but this common man still get it at an expensive rate, nothing is being achieved with fixed policy save making few people richer for doing nothing,. |
