The last sentence of your post is my greatest worry. I passed that route regularly between 2007 and 2014 and I saw the work that was done there. The work on the Orile to Mile 2 section was completed almost 8 or 9 years ago. It will be due for major maintenance before the main project is completed! In fact, people have blocked the drainage, the area has been impacted by time, they will need to do another major rehabilitation of that section before they can even commission the final product!

rehabilitation is very important , what is worth doing is worth doing well, alot of people using the road as toilet. You'll see them pooing along the road. Some part of the drainage are blocked.
The traffic along that side has reduce to a large extent. I followed volx to mile2 recently I didn't noticed signs of up and down of the vehicle, next sunday I'll use okokomaiko route to see what extent has the completion gotten to.
Alot of people working at the island living those area will seriously appreciate the governor once its constructed.
We've not been enjoying brt bus in those axis it give me serious Bad feelings as a lagosian.

But the project was not a priority after he left if not, how many century will it take Lagos government to complete the road to just okokomaiko ?

We were told about a 10 lane motorway and all the announcements were from Lagos State.
I do not recall Fashola's predecessor as Minister of Works making any promises on that road. It was all Lagos State

The train to Niger is as useless as unnecessary. Many economical road and linkage that could boost economic activities are left untouched.

Lagos bagry was abandoned, slave trade museum that would have serve as means of generating tourist attraction from black Americans, this con3 is useless and we need a southwest country where our fund won't be used to link train to Niger.

Even Lagos government is giving irrelevant excuses. The level of corruption in Lagos just always give me bad feelings.

There Is no proper management of the state, there is no transparency on the budget analysis . we just hear sososo billions has been spent.

What about the taxes ! Lagosians pay heavy tax to nonentities, I see the way agbero charge drivers with no documentation and their chairman live luxurious lifestyle at the ex pence of lagosians.

The water transportation need to be encourage seriously, Long distance transportation should be encourage through water transportation for people who would like to travel from badagry to Epe. Also the Lagos state government should run at loss in the first phase of encouraging water transportation through subsidizing the prices so lagosians would see better reason to use water.
People are scare of water and the fear need to be taking away.

Lassra should be made very important, Lagos should enforce her laws on citizen . any body with no residential permit should be deported bsck to their state of origin.

More homeless people keep flooding Lagos state with no house to live in. And it pose security risk to Citizen.
