kindly help a brother with advice, my puppies was infected with parvo last year, April or so. though the bitch survived the ordeal, i lost 3 pups.

the same dog is about to have another litter in a few weeks. then i remembered the last episode. I tried cleaning the place last year but I'm here thinking of what i can do again to prevent this year.

the bitch is been vaccinated again just recently, but hope I'm safe. it been almost a year though.

I'm not in the business of comparing breeds but I don't see any dogs going to war these days other than a Malinois or GSD. I'm not interested in dog fighting either because it's cruel. Prison guards are using Malinois all over the world. I'm a dog trainer and breeder at the same time and effectiveness is what I crave for.

Every breed of dogs was bred for a purpose but how many of them represent that purpose in this age? If you are so certain of your dog, why can't you pick up the challenge and let us simulate invasion into your property?

I think, its the behavior of kids at that age, they are just like that with most people they can bully. she's just trying to bully the dog, as she might have been trying to bully her peers at school or church. like you said, she's becoming stubborn.

I think you should start to discipline your child on how to behave around people, around dogs and peers. she has to be kind to the dog. in the meantime, you should put your dog on a leash and restriction, as well as your daughter, gradually, let your daughter be responsible for something about the dog. like making sure there is always water with the dog. I did same for my daughter, she's 4 years. by age 5, she will be responsible for the food. By the next year, she'll be responsible for cleaning the surrounding of the dog. and so on.

Probably one of the most reasonable replies here sir. Although in my opinion, I think since the dog and the daughter world still live in the same compound, it's important she doesn't become a "stranger" to the dog. Basically, the dog is doing his part in the relationship, it's left to him to educate his daughter and let her know how to behave, she's still young so mistakes are expected. But cull the mistakes before it becomes a problem on your hands.
