The problem with all these 'one nigerianists' is that majority are intellectually daft and can't even provide simple answers to the questions bothering on why the zoo must exist since it has refused to work for more than 100 years.

Intelligent analysts and pundits will tell you that for you to have an insight into your future, you must ruminate on the past but zoogerians don't that, they simply open their mouth and hope and hope for miracles while throwing tuwo and amala into their mouths ceaselessly. grin grin

Take a look at your naira, It was better than dollar in the 1960s It became equal to dollar in the 70s, it became only 3 times lesser than the dollar in the 80s, 20 times less valuable in the 1990s, today it is 450 times less valuable. Even the blind knows it will be N800/$ in few years.

But engage the 'one nigerianist' zoogerian intellectually, he will tell you to forget about the past, that Biafrans should unite with Bumhari so that Allah will make N1 = 1$.

Then you begin to wonder, 'where did these mor0nic zoogerians crawl out from?' grin grin
The answer is in the write-up that we should collectively fight those that loot our common wealth which is what Buhari is doing and u guys won't still give him support.Succession is not the answer but war against corruption and Nigeria will work.

All these cases are still in court and can you tell me the total recovered loot by your so called corruption fighters since almost two years. What has it been used for? Why are they finding it difficult to publish the recovered loot with names attached to it so that we can know how much recovered from each individual. keep deceiving yourself. When this administration leaves power and a new govt comes in, then shall we know how far. N300M for just grass cutting. It is well.
Buhari is more interested in recovering d loot than destroying people's image and dat's what matters most. It is called diplomacy.I dnt need to tell u how much so far bcs we are all in Nigeria when d federal government published d recovered loot in public news papers, something that has neva been done b4 in d history of this country.Even ICPC and EFCC regularly update nigerians on their recovered loot, dis is public thing. And if claim ignorance that u dnt know,i leave u with that.On where it is spent,i guess u are aware that the states have all taking now for two consequtives times now federal government bailout funds so solve d problem of salary payments, there are several ongoing massive capital projects across d federation beside payment of federal workers salaries which even during GEJ period they borrow money to pay and several other things.Despite all d explanation and transparency on d part of the government that recovered loot through the EFCC and ICPC are taken to central bank and from where the federal government disburse it in line with d year's budget, people like u will still be asking question about the fund like it is Buhari that put it in his pocket. The recovered loot that can not even fund up to 5% of our national budget beside the fact that even majority of these loots are still under debate in court yet to be forfeited to the government. My brother forget that thing even if it is Jesus that is d president,u people will still crucify him.

I' am not the kind of person that curse people online or offline. Any educated person would never do that.

And yes, what Buhari is doing is also nice, the only problem is we must wait for another Buhari in future to fight corruption, because his approach would not outlast his administration. It's really painful that building the institutions and system would take years, but the earlier those in government begin obeying the court the better.

You can imagine the benefits of rule of law to countries like the US where Donald Trump recently banned 7 countries from entering into the US. But, irrespective of how good his intentions, the US courts ruled that the ban is unconstitutional. Now, with all his presidential powers he cannot do anything aside what the court said. If he tries going against the court (like Buhari) he would be impeached and removed from office immediately for disobeying the court. Its a very serious offense!!............Do you now see why US citizens would obey the law? Because, anybody commiting crime knows he/she would go to jail even if the father is Dangote.
thanks

You need to understand what you're calling for is called dictatorship, tyranny, military rule. Is that what you want? Remember, we've been there before!!. It's like going back to our vomits.

And no, you don't understand what I' am saying, cause if you do you'll understand it wouldn't happen under Buhari's regime or even in our lifetime. These things takes many decades to build, it takes tens of years to build the institutions and rule of law, so that rule of law and obedience to the courts becomes SYSTEMIC, and enshrined in the mentality of every Nigerian.

What Buhari is doing now or what you're calling for is what Obasanjo called ''shortermism'' on the part of the Buhari regime and their policies. Assuming Buhari successfully fight corruption to a standstill now, but without following the rule of law, corruption would be back as soon as he complete his tenure, because he would not have laid the foundation for the war on corruption to run on its own.
yes I got it NOW. But u just said tens of years? Are Nigerians ready 4 such long time approach? Nigerians that were already judging Buhari after 6 months in office. They want him by now to have solved all our problems that are long standing. I think that's wy he wants to use d shortermism approach which may eventually not pay off at d long run just like u have rightly said. Thanks bro for ur constructive engagement with me on this issue. It shows I have been speaking with a matured mind unlike little kids on Nairaland who would have called out my great grand parents bcs of my opinion. Thanks

That's exactly the reason the building of a system where rule of law is king is paramount!!. So, what we should be talking about is how to build strong institutions where everything happens within the rule of law.

President Buhari himself has violated court rulings several times refusing to allow Dasuki and Nnamdi Kanu bail. How would Buhari want me to obey the same court when himself doesn't obey? .........You see? ...........Building a system where rule of law prevails is what we ought to be doing first, because it's far more important than anything else.
my brother I understand u. But Nigeria of nowadays is rotten to the extent that to build institution or rule of law, people must die unlawfully. It is people that are called this institution that u are talking about not building. There must be scapegoat and evil people must die or pay unlawfully. Everyone has corruption mentality in dis country and no new system u put down, since it is PEOPLE that will handle it, they will definitely manipulate it. If not dat Buhari detained Dasuki, Zazaky, and Nnamdi Kana unlawfully. His gov would have been worst by their activities. Yaradua used rule of law, we no reach anywhere, GEJ sef on BH issue, d thing got out of hand. We need someone who can unlawfully tried and killed looters in dis country, then u will see that our brain will go back to d default settings. Black people are d hardest people on earth to govern.

As someone stated above, the real reason to disqualify Magu is because he doesn't obey the law. It's very unfortunate our shortsightedness would have us believe the war on corruption is more important than the rule of law. But, in reality, in the long run, the development of the principles of rule of law and obedience to the courts is far more important than any so called war on corruption. When we actually have ALL government officials and everybody obeying the court, the war on corruption would be running itself.
may be u dnt know that someone can buy law and judgement in Nigeria. So all these ur rule of law has no meaning in d present Nigeria. Not until people start during jungle justice on looters, ain't think we are going no where.

Stories that touch the heart. Keep deceiving yourself that the suffering is for a while. N5.9b in the budget is for aso rock maintenance. N77.5m is for aso rock house rent. Lol. Who is the landlord and which maintenance? You are enduring hardship but they are living flamboyantly. N144m a month for evacuation of sewage at aso rock. Is the whole world defecating at aso rock? Check 2016 and 2017 budgets, you'll see a lot of outragous figures 2 or 3 times value of 2015 budget. The cutting of grasses at IDP camp by SGF with almost N300M, what can you say about that? The truth is that the corruption and looting of treasury that is going on in this administration is unimaginable. If another govt comes into power, we shall know how far. Even if the past administration was subsidizing for yiu, were you not the one benefiting then? Fill your car tank with N11,000 now against N6000 before. Minimum wage in 2015 can fetch you small thongs in the market but now, its just nothing and you are here enduring hardship. Keep deceiving yourself.
I know d category u fall in the types of people we have in Nigeria. The category that believe things can Neva work and every attempt of the government to solve our problems is seen as to no avail. All those quotes u put up there were even smaller compare to what d previous government used to budget for d maintainance of government properties, may be u have forgotten. I laugh when people compare level of embezzlement in dis gov to what it's used to be and they will say it is even worst under Buhari. What can be worst than what DaSUki took from d treasury, Alison Madueke, Air marshal Amosu, patience Jonathan, GEJ, d recent GMD NNPC Ibrahim that took over $9.8 million, among others. Tell me any of embezzlement uve heard in d recent times that is near 1/10 of what this people took during PDP share d money regime? All d cases u sighted above are just d normal things that happened during PDP era and nobody hears about them bcs corruption is in their constitution. Thank God for a regime that is exposing it and making them a crime. Other examples are budget padding and Co. Either u believe or support it or not, Buhari will succeed, corruption will eventually be defeated and Nigeria will get better. Just like any other country that are great today, someone has to show leadership and direction, Nigeria will get there.

Is buhari not a hypocrite? He should sit his ass down and ask himself why people are wishing him dead, the same buhari that was overwhelmingly loved and voted for including myself. But unfortunately anybody that complains of economic hardship is either a PDP or IPOB member. He is not a presidential material.
yes, such mumu people should either be pdp that destroyed dis country or IPOB youths whose leader is been detained by Nigeria. The third set of people are d impatient and unreasonable Nigerians. Let me tell u categorically and if u want to hear d truth, Nigeria can Neva get better unless dis culture of corruption is gone. It may even take a whole of 8 years to correct dis corruption mentality of Nigerians and public office holders by serious campaign against it. So dnt expect any magic to solve Nigeria's long standing problems. It is only dead brain people we would be using commodity price to compare PDP and APC governments. What PDP was doing then was very simple and does not need a genius to formulate such a policy---just borrow money, pump it into the economy, subsidize everything for d people and dnt let d economy get too down but loot the hell out of the common wealth. buhari/APC can do same, but he has decided that let's things take their normal shape while we find d lasting solutions to them irrespective of the backlash he would receive from ignorant and impatient Nigerians like u.These pains we are all experiencing now is self inflicted but the good news is that it is going to be for short time bcoz we ve got honest leader at the helm of affairs. But I know u would see a different thing and if u like bring back ur corruption.
