Pridestorm:You're welcome bro... We all are learning new things every single day. |
Pridestorm:I disagree bro... Try 72 degree celcius. Nice tips though. |
Pridestorm:I think this is wrong... To convert from Celcius to Fahrenheit, just multiply the given value by 180 and divide by 100. Finally add 32 to the answer you get... Easy right? So, converting 5 degree Centigrade to Fahrenheit gives: . (5 x 180) / 100 = 9 Now, add 32 to the answer: 9 + 32 = 41 Degree Fahrenheit |
Wow! Congrats to him.... But the 16 years though. From what i am seeing, he might be above that age. Nigerian bloggers will reduce your age the day you'll make a name just to attract views. Congrats again. |
Go for MLS (Medical Lab Science). After graduation, you don't need to wait on government. You could set up a mini diagnostics centre for yourself. I believe you'll make some money to help you solve your financial needs. . I decided to go for Public Health since I am a type that dislikes looking at dirty human wastes like feaces, sputum, etc. Otherwise I like Medical Lab Science... |
Learn PHP bro... Majority of web scripts you see around are built with PHP. For example, the great web software like WORDPRESS, JOOMLA, DRUPAL etc are all built using the power of PHP. It is a powerful and easy to learn scripting language. Trust me, you'll enjoy learning PHP... |

You'll need some database tables bro... One table will store all students along with their serial numbers or whatever means of unique identification. . You'll also need a table to store your generated pins, with a field that will be a boolean, say true/false, or 1 / 0. Etc. The field will be set to a default of false, indicating that a particular pin has not been used. If it turns true, it means the pin has been used and can not be re-used. . you'll as well need another table that will contain the uploaded results/grades of all your students. . Then depending on your competence level, you'll need another table for all your subjects plus the student id that's taking that subject plus the result id for that subject. . The SQL query to get results displayed will make use of JOINS and you said you're good at MYSQL. . I am a part-time PHP-MySQL developer. You can hire me if you're not confident with all these. |
You could try to describe the features you need. This will help a developer during the building process. No true developer starts work blindly... |
Sincerely, the level of extortion was way too much. Imagine UNIBRIGHT CBT centre charging candidates N500 separately for taking passports. And the passports were taken with a mobile phone; non-printable. You either pay this additional fee or you leave... This was made known to candidates after they've paid N8,500 for the main purpose of registration, which made the total cost of processing the form about N10,000. . The owner of the centre even went as far as telling candidates to pay an optional N10,000 if they would like to take the exam in his centre, claiming that he could decide who is posted where. . I just looked at him anticipating that Oloyede would appear and give me the permission to slap the owner of that CBT centre multiple times. |
Wisdom is applied knowledge. That's to say applying what you already know. A programmer is said to have wisdom if he is able to apply the programming concepts to build applications. . Intelligence is the ability to know! The potential of knowing. The capability of knowing. Again everyone may not understand the concepts of Algebra because they are not intelligent enough. Also someone may not understand the meaning of an Atom because they are not intelligent. . In summary, for an intelligent person, I think virtually anything can be understood with less effort, whereas for a wise person, any knowledge can be applied. . So someone who is intelligent may not be wise enough. They comprehend but can't apply their knowledge. However, a wise person can be intelligent and as well be able to apply their knowlege. |
Describe briefly any custom web script you'd love to have, stating exactly the features you'll like to have in the script. Someone recently said he needed a script similar to myschool.com.ng's questions and answers online practice portal. That's a fairly easy project to implement. . Bring in your own. Let's know the type of script you'll love to have, and watch it built up from scratch in little or no time with the OOP style of programming... |

A course may appear to be difficult depending on how one approaches it. With good materials and a little committment, any course of **interest will be a piece of cake. Interest is where everything begins. I hear a lot of kids saying "my daddy said I should study medicine." Tell me how the course won't be boring to such a student! |

I think it's common for a medical doctor to pursue a Masters degree in Public Health, but I really want to know if the reverse is obtainable in any Nigerian university. Your views will be very helpful. |
