If it was Apc that win they will not call for a re run. All apc plans to rig prob abotive because the people of osun stood up for their right. quote author=UcheSecondus post=71460480]......says Prof Yakubu brewing crisis
.......wonders what Buhari can tell UN on democracy The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to declare PDP winner in Osun's Saturday general election to avert national crisis.
Prince Secondus said that the PDP will not accept anything less than its deserved victory because the party won the election clearly and unambiguously.
He said that after INEC robbed the party of victory in Ekiti state and said they should go to the tribunal, now in Osun state after the party won glaringly they have concocted another story of inconclusive just to pacify their pay masters.
The National Chairman said in a statement from his media office on Sunday signed by Ike Abonyi that the Chairman of INEC Prof, Yakubu Mahmood should be held responsible for brewing crisis in the country ahead of 2019 in his greed to satisfy the agenda of his appointees.
Prince Secondus warned that if what they did in Ekiti and Osun states elections are rehearsals of what they are planning for 2019, there may be no Nigeria and INEC and APC should be held responsible.
He also drew the attention of the nation's security apparatchik to the possible threat to peace and oneness of this country by the brazing rigging of elections by a supposedly independent electoral umpire.
The PDP boss wondered what President Muhammadu Buhari who left the country to US for united Nation's general assembly today would be telling democratic community when he cannot conduct simple state governorship election.
"What other evidence do the democratic watchers and security agencies need to establish obvious bias from INEC when the commission's administrative officer caught destroying result sheets in Ayedade local Government àrea where over a thousand votes belonging to PDP were removed confirmed acting on the instruction of his superior officer.
"What will President Buhari be telling democratic world at the UN when back home he has brutalized all agents of democracy and has been unable to conduct a simple state bye election.
Prince Secondus described as shameless INEC taking instructions from the APC and deciding to declare the result inconclusive when it is obvious to all watchers that the PDP candidate won the election. The National Chairman finally salutes the people of Osun state for their dexterity and vigilance that led to the arrest of the fraudulent INEC official as he called on the international community to watch closely and condemn the electoral commission for their lack of neutrality ahead of 2019 general election.
Dickson his making things easier and beyelsa should be proud.
BayelsaLegacy: A total of N23.5 billion came into the coffers of Bayelsa State government from the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) as allocations for the months of June and July.
Commissioner for finance, Maxwell Ebibai, who made the disclosure in a statement on Monday, said the state had earlier received N12.7 billion as June allocation before N10.8 billion in July.
Ebibai said though there was a shortfall of about N2 billion in the July allocation, the state government would give priority to the payment of workers’ salaries in consonance with the emphasis placed on workers by the administration.
He said ongoing capital projects would attract priority attention before other state expenses would be treated on their scale of importance, and that the disclosure was in line with the transparency policy of the administration.
He recalled that the state government had to generate funds through alternative sources to pay June salaries and other duties due to the delay in resolving issues at the FAAC meeting in June.
In his words: “Last month, the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee meeting was delayed. But the state government generated funds to pay workers’ salaries and other responsibilities of government through alternative sources of revenue. That was an expression of commitment.
“The state got N12.7 billion for the month of June and N10.8 billion for July. The June receipts indicated a shortfall of about N2.0 billion in federal receipts for the month of July. “In line with our covenant with workers, their salaries would be on first line charge. Our capital projects would also get attention. Other expenses will be treated on a case by case basis.”
He said the shortfall in federal receipts had brought to the fore the fragile state of the economy in spite of the massive drive to boost the internally generated revenue profile of the state.
He called for further commitment and efforts from stakeholders to give the deserved attention to the creation of a sustainable financial base, which would not be dependent on FAAC allocations and the need to manage the cost of doing business in the state.
The commissioner also called on the citizenry to ensure prompt payment of their taxes in the interest of the development of the state.
Any attempt to forcefully reconvene will means going against the constitutional right of the senate, which is totally unacceptable because only the presiding officers of the senate have that right.
Frank warns Presidency over plot to forcefully reconvene the Senate
Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Comrade Timi Frank has cautioned against attempt being made to illegally reconvene the Senate by some APC Senators in collusion with the Presidency.
Frank in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday, said no other person is permitted to reconvene any arm of the National Assembly when it is on break except only the presiding officers.
He said that reopening the Senate under the guise of considering the request of President Muhammadu Buhari for funds for the Independent National Electoral Commission towards the conduct of the 2019 general elections flies in the face.
Frank said: “Only today (Thursday), the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Ita Enang was caught on video leading about 10 APC Senators, led by the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmad Lawan to meet with the President and to urge on the President to provide them security to enable forcefully open the doors of the Senate Chambers and conduct an illegal sitting.
“This, if allowed to happen, will not only represent a clear breach of the Constitution but the height of illegality and impunity in this country. They APC Senators are only interested in gaining access to the chambers to carry out a sinister motive against the presiding officers of the Senate and not anywhere near considering Mr. President’s fund request for INEC.
“Besides, available records show that INEC has enough funds to commence preparing for the upcoming elections in the 2018 budget even as additional budgetary allocation would be made for the Agency in the 2019 budget.
Let me add that the Senate alone cannot approve funds for INEC without the concurrence of the House of Representatives. So the attempt to illegally reopen the Senate by a handful of APC Senators therefore becomes suspect and must not be allowed to happen.
“I want to call on President Buhari not to accede to the illegal request of these Senators who are only out to gain underserved relevance and political patronage in the buildup to the primaries of the party soon.
“I also want Nigerians to be aware of this illegal plot and I call on them to rise to save the institution of the National Assembly which is the only defining characteristics of the nation’s democracy,” he said.
This s a great achievement by the first lady. She is well commended for a job well done.

BayelsaLegacy: The Bayelsa State Government has said that, a delay in the monthly meeting of the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee, FAAC, may result in a slight delay in the payment of salaries of civil servants for the month of June, 2018.
The State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Maxwell Ebibai, said in a statement on Thursday that, that the crucial monthly FAAC meeting could not hold, because of the inability of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation to present accurate figures of revenue collected for the month to the Committee .
He said that, the meeting could not hold because of observed discrepancies in the figures presented by the NNPC to FAAC.
Ebibai explained further that, this inability of the NNPC to present accurate and agreeable returns to FAAC was responsible for the lingering delay in holding the June FAAC meeting.
The Commissioner explained that, the Bayelsa State Government was obliged to alert the workers and indeed the good people of the state that, the delay in the FAAC meeting could result in a slight delay in the payment of salaries in the state.
However, Ebibai urged the citizens to show the usual understanding in the event of any delay in salary payment, stressing that, the government had always given priority to the prompt payment of salaries to its workers.
He added that, the Restoration Government led by the State Governor, the Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, holds workers in high esteem and had always appreciated their efforts and contributions to the development of the state.
According to him, efforts were being intensified to prevail on the NNPC to present acceptable figures to FAAC, in order to resolve the stalemate.
He said, “As a responsible government, we have always demonstrated a deep consciousness of our responsibilities to our workers and other citizens of our great state. This, we have done over the years with prompt payment of salaries to our workers.
“However, we feel obliged to inform our citizens that, the unfortunate delay in holding the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee meeting for the month of June may result in a slight delay in the payment of salaries.
“We wish to advise our workers not to panic as FAAC is making efforts to prevail on the NNPC to provide accurate figures of returns to resolve this stalemate. We seek the understanding of our dear citizens on this issue which we believed would be resolved soon.”
Ebibai assured the workers that, the government would pay the salaries for the month of June as soon as the stalemate over the amount remitted to the Federation Account for the month was resolved.
This is a well recommendable achievement by the Governor,to help the state enhance his productive output on workforce in the state.
BayelsaLegacy: Bayelsa State Government has described as “a huge success”, the just-concluded town hall meeting on public service reforms.
The government specifically said, the exercise which came to a close on Monday in Oporoma, Headquarters of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, had the collective endorsement of all stakeholders in the state.
A statement by the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said the two weeks event was also an eye opener, as the people became more aware of the massive benefits of the reforms.
He said the outcome of the town hall meeting will enable the goverment to continue the smooth implementation of the reforms and promised that genuine complaints from civil servants and pensioners will be adequately addressed.
Iworiso-Markson who charged Bayelsans to continue to support the reforms, expressed immense gratitude to all those who supported, participated, made useful presentations and ensured that the town hall meeting achieved its purpose.
He commended Governor Henry Seriake Dickson for the opportunity to organize the programme and his Deputy, Rear Admiral John Jonah (rtd) who in his stead as the chairman of the reforms committee supported the process.
The Commissioner also commended, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, the Rt. Hon. Friday Konbowei Benson and members of the State House of Assembly as well as caretaker chairmen of the eight LG councils.
Others he said were members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers and other political appointees, especially the political advisers to the governor led by Hon. Fyneman Wilson.
Iworiso-Markson equally lauded security agencies, the media, traditional rulers, chiefs, opinion leaders and other critical stakeholders like the various caucus chairmen, women and youths who showed commitment and passion throughout the period.
He said, “Our gratitude also goes to the National Orientation Agency (NOA), labour unions and other organizations, civil society groups and NGOs. Other groups that deserves to be mentioned are the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), the Bayelsa Comrade Family, the Bayelsa State chapter of the Unemployed Graduates Forum and the Bayelsa State Vigilante".
This is a very good development that is worth celebrating. The people of bayelsa are luck.
BayelsaLegacy: Irish Ambassador Visits Bayelsa, Attributes High Oil Output To Stability In Niger Delta; Restates Preparedness To Partner Int’l Community On Oil & Gas
Bayelsa State Government is to sign a Global Memorandum of Understanding with Shell Petroleum Development Company, (SPDC) on the Gbarain/Ubie Gas plant, a multi-billion dollar project, which is the largest investment in Africa.
Speaking while receiving the Irish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Sean Hoy in Government House, Yenagoa, the State Deputy Governor, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (Rtd), expressed the Government’s preparedness to partner the international community, in seeking ways the state can benefit maximally from the oil and gas industry.
A statement issued on Wednesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Francis Ottah Agbo, quoted the Deputy Governor as lamenting the non-participation of Bayelsans in the oil and gas industry, which he said was a major cause of agitations in the Niger Delta area.
Rear Admiral John Jonah, who noted that, "we are not carried along in the oil and gas industry, emphasized that, the Niger Delta peoples’ participation in the industry is almost zero."
The Deputy Governor, who lauded the Irish envoy’s efforts to prevail on oil companies towards giving the Niger Delta people a fair share of the oil proceeds, said the state government would liaise with them, in resolving issues with the multinational oil firms.
Describing the devastation to the environment caused by the activities of oil companies as enormous and unquantifiable, Rear Admiral John Jonah said, a study is being carried out by experts on the extent of damage to the environment and the people.
The Deputy Governor, who sought the collaboration of Ireland in the development of the Agge Deep sea port, education and Eco-Industrial park to build an economy beyond oil, also urged the international community to monitor the forthcoming general elections nationwide.
In his remarks, the Irish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Sean Hoy, said they were in Bayelsa to interact with the state government and its people at the grassroots, as regards security issues.
Mr. Hoy, who commended the state government for its efforts at sustaining peace, attributed the high oil production level to the current stability in the Niger Delta.
"I was here in August, 2016. My predecessor never came to this area because he was afraid of insecurity and I believe that, if you are afraid insecurity, you will never learn.
"It is important for us to understand the dynamics of the Niger Delta. This is the economic heart of Nigeria. I want to congratulate all those involved in stabilizing that situation because Nigeria is now almost at peak production in terms of oil production on a daily basis.
On next year’s general elections, Mr Hoy said a team of international observers would be involved in monitoring the elections as well as provide support to promote a free, fair and peaceful polls.
In his contribution, an official the Missionary Attaché in the Irish Embassy, Father Kevin O'Hara, stressed the need for oil companies to adopt international standards in their operations in the Niger Delta.
Father O'Hara said he has been interfacing with communities in the Niger Delta, called on oil companies to improve their relations with host communities to bring about lasting peace and stability.
"Very soon SPDC is going to sign a GMoU with Gbarain/Ekpetiama cluster communities. This is the biggest multi-million dollar project in Africa in your backyard. Therefore your people should be benefitting very well."
God have mercy. it's so unfortunate, may all the lost souls find rest with the Lord, grant the families the heart to bear the the lost.
Dankwambo42019: My Sincere condolences to the family of those who lost their lives today in an unfortunate fire incidence that occurred at Otedola Bridge, Lagos. May God grant quick recovery to the injured and eternal repose to the dead.
Dankwambo is a man known for peace, He never support evil act.
Dankwambo42019: GOMBE State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has commiserated with the people and government of Bauchi state over the recent windstorm that claimed many lives and rendered many homeless as well as the fire that engulfed the Azare main market burning down about 1, 000 shops and stalls.
Hassan DanKwambo according to his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Junaid Usman Abubakar on Tuesday paid a condolence and sympathy visits to the Emirs of Bauchi and Katagum over the two disasters.
While in Bauchi, the Governor condoled the Emir, Rilwanu Suleimanu Adamu over the rainstorm which ravaged Bauchi and its environs leaving behind many bereaved families while properties worth several millions of Naira were destroyed.
In Azare, Hassan DanKwambo sympathised with the Emir, Baba Faruq Umar over the fire incident which razed down shops and stalls in the Azare main market thereby cutting the sources of livelihood of the victims.
In the two places visited, the Governor urged those affected to take it as an act of Allah since it was inevitable praying that Allah will avert the future occurrence of such a disaster.
The Governor then appealed to spirited individuals to come to the aid of the victims because according to him that is the only way to demonstrate the unity and oneness of Nigeria.
He also called on all the relevant government emergency agencies to provide relief materials to the victims of the two disasters opining though that nothing can be done to bring back what was lost.
The Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleimanu Adamu in his response thanked the Governor for the visit saying that whatever happens to Bauchi also affects Gombe because of the long history of togetherness between the two.
On his own, the Emir of Katagum, Baba Umar Faruq commended the Governor for finding time to personally Azare to see things for himself having earlier on sent in a powerful government delegation to sympathise with the people of the Emirate over the unfortunate incidence.
Dickson is one leader that has distinguished himself in the area of infrastructural development. empowerment, education. He is a true leader of great accomplishment.
BayelsaLegacy: Youths of Bayelsa State have asked Governor Seriake Dickson to stay focused without making a fuss over the deserting of his Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Ibarakumo Otobo, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Otobo, youngest commissioner in the state, recently resigned his appointment and decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the APC.
But the youths under the protection of Bayelsa Youths Movement, BYM, emphasized their support for Dickson's administration and told the governor not to entertain fear about his prior choice to hand over the state to them.
Secretary-General of the gathering, Mr. Elisha Inodu, yesterday in an announcement, said the senator should see Otobo's activity as a selling out of trust, including, "The Bayelsa Youths Movement has watched the ongoing choice of previous Commissioner for Youths Development, Otobo, to abscond to the APC.
“BYM upholds the right of every citizen to personal decisions as Otobo had done in this case of his defection to the APC. However, we are constrained to call on our governor to remain focussed in his decision to open the political space to the youth populace in Bayelsa State.”
This government is not practising true democracy at all, this is very bad. Given appointments only to some particular people and witchhunting opposition in the name of fighting corruption is the biggest form of corruption and we have to put a stop to it. APC is the most corrupt Government we have ever had.
UcheSecondus: …plans NEC meeting over arrest, intimidation
…cautions FG on cattle ranches
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is to hold an enlarged National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting over the intimidation and arrest of its members by the Federal Government.
It said the safety, personal freedom and well-being of Nigerians, particularly, opposition members, are no longer guaranteed. The party also advised the Federal Government to hold consultations with stakeholders over plan to establish cattle ranches in some parts of the country.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, at a press conference yesterday, alleged clampdown on opposition leaders and perceived opponents of the President Muhammadu Buhari by the Federal Government. According to him, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now deploying every machination to cause confusion, heighten political tension by hounding and arresting of opposition leaders on spurious allegations.
“There are fears and trepidation everywhere. The safety, personal freedom and well-being of Nigerians, particularly, opposition members, are no longer guaranteed,” Ologbondiyan stated.
The PDP spokesperson noted that part of the plot is to link opposition leaders and dissenting voices with the widespread killings in various parts of the country, forgetting that President Buhari had earlier blamed the attacks on invaders from late Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya, while Director General of Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura, blamed it on herdsmen from neighbouring countries.
“Having failed in their corruption smear campaign against the PDP and many notable Nigerians, the APC and the presidency cabal have now devised a devious machination to rope in, frame up, implicate and ultimately incarcerate marked opposition leaders and other dissenting voices over fabricated security charges.
“The wicked clampdown has started. Only on Wednesday, we were made aware of the arrest and detention of former Benue State governor, Hon. Gabriel Suswam, who has been kept incommunicado without access to his lawyers, while the Federal Government is not forthcoming with the details of the reasons behind the arrest and detention.
“However, we know that his arrest and detention is intended to put him out of circulation, so that he will not take part in the mega meetings of our party planned for the North Central states,” Ologbondiyan said.
He expressed the fears that other opposition leaders and dissenting voices have been placed under watch and would be dragged in and framed up on security charges, so as to keep them out of circulation ahead of the elections. Ologbondiyan recalled that former President Olusegun Obasanjo had earlier raised alarm of alleged plots by the Buhari administration to frame, arrest and detain him indefinitely on trumped up charges, attributing it to his criticisms and open rejection of the administration for its failures and manifest misrule.
“The world is also aware of the numerous alleged plots by the APC and its Federal Government to frame up and humiliate Senate President Bukola Saraki, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremmadu, Senators Dino Melaye and Shehu Sani, as well as Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and his Ekiti counterpart, Governor Ayodele Fayose. “Also, there are concerns about the safety of former Chief of Army Staff and former Defence Minister, Gen. Theophilus Y. Danjuma (rtd), following the fear expressed by Wike that Gen. Danjuma’s life might be in danger after his comments in March, this year, on possible complicity of the State in the killings in Taraba State. “Only on Wednesday, an explosive device was discovered at the Ebonyi State PDP secretariat, either planted to blow up our secretariat and kill our members or to set up our leaders.
“These attacks, threats and intimidation targeted at influential Nigerians, particularly, past leaders, show clearly that the APC and the Buhari presidency are very scared of their inevitable defeat in the 2019 general elections and now seek to apply all machinations to overheat the polity and ostensibly frustrate the process,” he added. He disclosed that the PDP NEC meeting would take “far-reaching decision on the next line of action, within the ambit and the provisions of the law, regarding the harassments and intimidations of citizens under the Buhari administration.”
On ranches, PDP noted that the situation has already generated discordant tunes and acrimony among major stakeholders, groups and states across the country, particularly relating to issues of funding and land ownership.
“The PDP is particularly worried by the lack of adequate consultations by the Federal Government resulting in the disagreements that have trailed the plan, especially along ethnic divides,” he said.
He called on the Federal Government to get its acts together and follow all due processes, as stipulated by the laws and 1999 Constitution (as amended) regarding this issue, in order to eliminate the current disagreements being generated, adding that the nation has witnessed enough disagreements, violence and bloodletting.
Governor Dickson has made himself a working tools in the state. He has remodelled, renovated and constructed new infrastructural development on roads, schools, healthcare, electricity and many more. He deserve an accolade and must be encorrage to do more.
BayelsaLegacy: The Bayelsa Government on Saturday said its ongoing multi-billion naira Cargo Airport Project would be finished before the finish of August.
Mrs Josphine Akpama, the Director of the State Airlines, unveiled this during an inspection tour of facilities at the airport by the elders from Amassoma Community in Southern-Ijaw nearby government territory of the state.
Akpama said the airport project sited in Amassoma was a part of the state government's efforts to reposition it for a stronger economy as one of the oil rich states in the country.
She said that the contractors were working hard to guarantee that they met with the finishing date of the project by August.
A portion of the airplane terminal offices that were examined incorporate the 3.5km runway, the cook's garment, the fire bay, the control tower, the terminal building, the power station among others.
“The governor has given a date, which is August and that is the target; as you can see that every facility here is almost ready; the runway is 75 per cent completed, the terminal building is 85 per cent and the fire bay is also getting set,” the director said.
king Oweipa Jones-Ere, the Ebenanaowei of Ogboin Clan, in Southern-Ijaw Area described the project as inspiring and promised to help and ensure the offices.
Jones-Ere said that the economic important of the airport to thepeople could not be over-emphasised.
“I am happy that this project is sited in our community and I believe it will empower our people when it is completed because there will be jobs for the youths.
“I urge the youths to desist from disturbance and support the progress work in the project,” he said.
Mr Joseph Douyie, the youth president in the area said he would mobilize his people to keep up peace and serenity in the area.
"The youth are ready to work with the government to secure and preserve the airport facilities; we, the entire youths commend our dear governor, Seriake Dickson on project," Douyie said. (NAN)
It is with great delight that I write this open letter to you, Mr. President, and wish to congratulate you and all Nigerians for the great honour done to late chief MKO Abiola and his running mate, with the conferment of GCFR and GCON on them respectively, whilst not forgetting others who stood gallantly in reclaiming the JUNE 12 MANDATE against all odds. Indeed, this great gesture has soothed the open sore of the June 12 struggle and has began the process of healing the wounds of those dark days, whilst bringing succour to the souls of the departed who fought against dictatorship and tyranny in a bid to reclaiming the lost mandate of the Nigerian people. Suffice to say, Mr. President, that it is no coincidence that this laudable gesture has been achieved 25 years after all hopes of restoring the mandate appeared to have been dashed indefinitely.
Having recognised the need and finally put to rest this dark episode in our country’s history, I humbly urge you to take the subsequent step in declaring Chief Abiola as President (Posthumously) and further recognising all the key players who played different roles in the actualization of democracy during those trying times, and of course, those who also paid the ultimate price for freedom with their sacred lives. It is no gainsaying to say the least that Nigerians will forever remain grateful to you for standing up and putting to rest the June 12 imbroglio, irrespective of dissenting opinions. It will be wise to conclude, therefore sir, that this great feat will usher in a new Nigeria where all the main ingredients to sustaining and entrenching democracy will become the norm in our daily lives, spearheaded by those in power at all times. The lessons of June 12 and what it meant to Nigerians should be the bedrock of our democracy, as anything short of this will rubbish the very intention for which the honours were conceived ab initio.
Furthermore, Mr President, having been a lone voice in criticizing the activities of your administration, despite being a member of the APC, many will wonder what the true intent of this Open Letter may convey, but be rest assured sir, that only those who mean well for this country will speak up when wrong is being painted as right. The CHANGE mantra upon which this administration was voted into power massively by Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic, religious and social affiliations, is fast eroding away and I’m afraid, sir, that if nothing is done to Right the Wrong, then the Hopes and Aspirations which had ushered in a brighter tomorrow will end up in Regret and Despair. That I have decided to speak up against the current ills in the system attest to the fact that, it is only when people speak up that True Change will eventually occur. The resilience and belief in the June 12 Struggle attest to the fact that those who fought for democracy in Nigeria believed in the truest meaning of democracy in all its ramifications. A country where the RULE OF LAW, FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND ASSOCIATION, UPHOLDING THE RIGHTS OF EVERY CITIZEN AND ABOVE ALL RESPECT FOR FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS was and is the very pillar upon which Chief MKO ABIOLA and several others paid the ultimate price with their lives. Anything short of this will amount to MILITOCRACY or DICTATORSHIP as it were. The lack of adherence to these social rights, I must admit, are very prevalent in this administration and seems to be growing larger by the day. These ills are reminiscent of and a sad reminder of the Junta days, with many regretting their actions of voting the APC into power. It will be pertinent, Mr. President sir, to proceed on a personal fact finding mission to the Nigerian streets, irrespective of bias, to find out the true reflections and opinions of Nigerians toward your administration.
The flagrant disregard for the Rule of Law, Disobeying of Court Orders, Acute Nepotism, Selective Persecution, and Lack of Transparency are some of the ills very prevalent in the nation today. The various reports from Amnesty International and the U.S. Department of State have gravely indicted this administration. It is in this vein, Mr. President, that I urge you to give regard to the Rule of Law as the continuous incarceration of perceived enemies, without obedience to court orders, has become an enormous albatross confronting your government. Many a people believe that the duo of Sheikh EL Zak Zaky and the erstwhile NSA, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtf), are some of the personal witch-hunt of your administration, and therefore having preached peace and reconciliation during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Nigerians would be interested to see if they will be set free, to at least allow for the Rule of Law take its course.
The infighting within the National Assembly and the clamp down on opposition voices is clearly in sharp contrast to the democracy that was envisaged and clamoured for by Nigerians before your inception. As we draw near to another election year, it will be beneficial to your administration that these concerns are vigorously addressed, so as to usher in a ray of hope for a better Nigeria as envisioned by MKO Abiola himself. The EKITI and OSUN elections will be a litmus test for all Nigerians to attest, if indeed, what is to come in 2019 will be anything to go by. Having preached peace and perseverance to all Nigerians, your actions or inactions will be very vital as we approach these elections.
I would conclude by leaving you with this words that: "If the position is that the June 12th sensationalism is beyond the personification of Chief MKO Abiola GCFR, and more about the memorial and honour of the protagonist that advocated and sacrificed for democratic tenets, then the moral, socio-political, and emotional modus operandi of its proponents must unequivocally demonstrate the Rule of Law, which is intrinsically the Blood of Democracy. Any move, in whatever class, shade, or shape that is short of upholding the Rule of Law is simply shenanigans. No matter who and how many people approve of the gesture. God loves, because He is Love. Also, God gives Justice, because he is just.” Copied.
It's a nice one from the chairman to wish our muslim brothers and sisters a happy EId el Fitri to reflect on the nations problem. So that there will be peace in the country. God bless mr chairman and God bless and grant PDP success in 2019.
National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus urges all Nigerians to use the period of Eid el Fitri to reflect on the situations in the country and pray specially for the survival of democracy and for peaceful conduct of the 2019 general election.
Secondus said in a Sallah message to mark the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting period by the Muslim faithfuls, that the nation's democracy more than ever before since 1999 is under heavy stress that need all hands to be on deck for its survival
Prince Secondus said in a statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi that three years after the nation's democracy was handed over to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC indicators are apparent that it is under such pressure that need prayers and commitment of Nigerians for its sustenance and survival.
The PDP boss called on the APC led federal government to imbibe the spirit of tolerance and shun all undemocratic tendencies as he expressed concern over several acts of intimidation, harassment and bullying of the opposition by operatives of federal government agencies noting that this is a very dangerous trend that must not be allowed as it has grave consequences on our democracy and the survival of our nation.
Secondus then noted that the end of the Holy month of Ramadan should provide ample period for positive attitude from those in position of authority to underline the lessons of sacrifice and brotherly love warning that our actions as leaders must not negate the fundamental prescriptions of our faith.
According to Secondus, "if leaders absorb the lessons of Ramadan and allow it influence their conduct, most of the problems confronting the ordinary people would have been solved"
" These last 30 days of fasting and prayer will be meaningful in our lives as a nation if we allow the solemnness of the period influence our thoughts and actions in relating with one another"
He appealed to Nigerians of all faith to continue to maintain their harmonious inter-faith relations, for the attainment of the desired peace without which we cannot achieve good governance, national and infrastructural development as well as attract the much needed foreign investors.
Finally, he wishes all Nigerians a happy Sallah celebration as he urges them to live in peace with one another.
EFCC should pack well abeg, Why are they not harassing APC too? This a Bleep up government.
UcheSecondus: ........says the Commission now APC tool for 2019
National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has berated the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EfCC for their unconcealed bias in their execution of the anti corruption war in the country.
Prince Secondus said that the recent arrest and harassment of contractors handling projects in only PDP states has clearly exposed the anti graft agency as doing the bidding of the ruling party ahead of 2019.
The PDP leader said in a statement from his media office and signed by his media adviser Ike Abonyi that the EFCC has deployed its operatives to intimidate and harass contractors handling various projects in some PDP states with the motive of frustrating their project goals which have visibly placed them far ahead of the colleagues in APC states.
Prince Secondus expressed regrets that the Commission has remained beclouded in their bias and has refused to heed the advisories from well meaning Nigerians and international watchers including the recent one from the British High Commissioner to Nigeria Mr. Paul Arkwright for them not to take sides with any political party ahead of the 2019 general election.
According to the High Commissioner, "INEC and EFCC should be there to preserve the integrity of the political process, including taking investigations without prejudice on one side or the other"
PDP boss noted that the Commission rather than listen to such counsel, has instead made themselves a willing tool to assist the drowning APC ahead of 2019 general elections.
Rather than encourage states who are seriously involved in the delivery of democracy dividend to their people, the envious ruling APC has been conniving with the relevant agencies to be harassing contractors ostensibly to frustrate and slow them down in their development strides.
"Contractors in Taraba and Rivers states as well as other PDP states are being harassed by EFCC operatives and are being arm twisted to implicate PDp leaders"
" Intelligence is available to the party that the ruling party and the federal government have resolved to ensure that PDP states are permanently put on their toes so as not to get their bearing ahead of 2019.
It would be clear to the world and discerning minds that PDP governors are doing fantastic jobs executing projects that touch the lives of their people unlike their APC counterparts
In some states like Taraba where projects have been halted as a result of EFCC meddlesomeness, the unemployment situation has worsened.
Prince Secondus reiterated the position of the PDP that corruption should be confronted frontally in our system but warned that meaningful result would never be achieved in this regard in an atmosphere of bias and double standards from anti corruption agencies.
Secondus regretted that the anti graft agencies which was indeed set up by the PDP administration to tackle the corruption vice in our system independent of the ruling government has made themselves a willing tool in the hands of the APC"
He charged PDP state governors to remain undaunted and refuse to be intimidated in the service of their people.
Finally, Prince Secondus called on the international communities to note the growing impunity where anti graft agencies now usurp the over sight functions of the state Houses of Assembly.
In the cocophy of voices and clash of ideas over how and who to save Nigeria, Dankwambo has been speaking with facts, figures and self assuredness that the Nation needs.

And the results of his exertion on behalf of the people of Gombe is there for all to marvel at. To be very frank, non of the known and unknown candidates of PDP or any party seems better prepared and qualified as the man IBRAHIM HASSAN DANKWAMBO. He is the Rightman and the best Choice for 2019.
Dankwambo42019: ALHAJI IBRAHIM HASSAN DANKWAMBO: A BETTER CHOICE BEFORE NIGERIANS?
It is true that a golden fish has no hiding place. The professional, political and public service career of national and global leaders are always in public domain. Their performance or lack of it stands them out as the populace, public affairs analysts and social affairs commentators are wont to publicly and vocally assess their varied contributions to the socio-economic wellbeing of the citizenry at large.
The above musing aptly describes the dynamic and highly resourceful Governor of Gombe state, Dr Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, FCIB, FCA, OON, (Talban-Gombe) within the backdrop of a higher calling that is currently tolling its bell on him ahead of 2019. For the consummate technocrat, cerebral chartered accountant and super-achieving administrative helmsman par excellence, much has been written and chronicled on his superb and superlative infrastructural and developmental exploit as well as his groundbreaking reforms both in Gombe state as the incumbent chief executive officer and the office of the Accountant General of the Federation that have repositioned and recalibrated the said offices for a more credible, responsive and efficient service delivery to the people and the nation at large.
Much of the publicity has been unsolicited as the unassuming and largely self-effacing Talban Gombe believes in silent and unheeded achievements, with solid and indelible administrative reforms and infrastructural projects on ground to speak for themselves rather than engaging in undue media hype or sensational headlines that are the province of many a politician.
However, much as Dankwambo might want to avoid the public limelight, his tremendous and all-encompassing performance at various levels of governance and administration has attracted unprecedented adulation and encomiums to the extent that no less an influential and prescient man of God, the famed Catholic prelate, Father Ejike Camilus Mbaka, has predicted that the 2019 presidential mandate rests squarely on the broad shoulders of the highly respected Gombe state helmsman. The revered cleric did not mince words while prophesying that Dankwambo has the wherewithal to take Nigeria decisively and unerringly out of the woods of despair, despondency and decay that the APC-led federal government has plunged it since coming to power on May 29, 2015.
In an unequivocal and straightforward celestial pontification, Father Mbaka predicted that the savvy and articulate Dankwambo will inherit the presidential crown in order to repeat the magic that he has performed in Gombe state and at the federal level in order to bring the country closer to the standard of living and economic attainment of advanced countries in the global comity of nations; no more, no less. With the pronouncement of the Catholic priest who is renowned for the authenticity and fecundity of his prophecies and who has never for once met Dankwambo in person, the whole political configuration, calculation and permutations for 2019 has been inexorably altered.
At the moment, the vast majority of the nation’s citizenry are lining up, locked in step behind the fortuitous and auspicious candidacy of the Gombe political wonder who defied all imaginable odds to emerge the only re-elected PDP governor in the whole of the North despite the fact that the rival APC swept the region in a massive tsunami during the 2015 general election.
Indeed, the Peoples Democratic Party leadership seems galvanized by Father Mbaka’s earth-shaking prediction affirming that Dankwambo is eminently qualified to assume the mantle of presidential leadership at any time and that his candidacy must come as a huge relief for legions of the party’s faithful as well as millions of ordinary Nigerians who are craving for a credible alternative to the directionless leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari and his fellow travelers in APC. Without doubt, the last man standing, as Talban is affectionately referred to, won in Gombe on the basis of merit, hardwork, competence and exemplary performance.
He touched the lives of the people of the state in all material spheres, be it in road infrastructure, health, education, power, water supply, rural development, agriculture, manpower development and women or youth empowerment. All these sectors have been decisively and positively affected by Dankwambo’s No-Citizen-Left-Behind policy. All the eleven local government areas of the state have felt the impact of the visionary leadership of the governor. For instance, immediately after the 2015 elections, the first set of roads that were constructed Dankwambo where in the enclave of his defeated APC gubernatorial rival, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya This was in consonance with admirable mantra of Politics Without Bitterness of the Talban Gombe.
Indeed, the infrastructural revolution embarked upon by the indefatigable governor has been unprecedented throughout the nation, dwarfing those of Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom among others, on an income per capital ratio, given the fact that Gombe State receives a paltry N2 billion per annum as federal allocation compared to the over N15-N30 billion naira received annually by the aforementioned oil-producing states.
Tens of thousands of kilometers of urban and rural roads have been completed while a lot more are under construction. Hundreds of hospitals, maternity and health centres, primary, secondary and Arabic schools have been either constructed or rehabilitated with adequate supply of hospital equipment, drugs, desks, chairs and laboratory equipment respectively. In the agriculture sector, tremendous progress has been attained with fertilizer, seedlings, farm implements, tractors, harvesters, planters, sprayers and many more supplied or leased to agrarian farmers at highly subsidized rates to boost agricultural production in the Jewel of the Savannah.
Dankwambo’s youth and women empowerment programme is also a complement to his development agenda for the state as tens of thousands of women and youths have been trained in fish farming, rabbit and poultry production, bee keeping, hair dressing, barbing, sewing, tying and dying, soap making, as well as confectionary skills.
All these are geared towards enhancing their income-generating and self-sustenance status. Thousands of graduates and other categories of staff have been employed in the Gombe State public service ever since the Talban Gombe assumed office on May 29, 2011.
Indeed, to catalogue the length, breadth and scope of the landmark administrative, infrastructural and developmental exploits of the Last Man Standing is beyond the breadth of this treatise, but it is fair to surmise that the nation needs, as a matter of urgency, the leadership sagacity of Governor Dankwambo, as well as his depth of experience, vision, vigour and fortitude to pilot the ship of the Nigerian State to safer and calmer shores come 2019.
We urge the Prime Minister H.E. Theresa May to swung into action before this fall apart. Tyranny in our democracy must be stop.
SteveAde123: OPEN LETTER TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE U.K., H.E. THERESA MAY
H.E. Theresa May
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
Thru: The British Ambassador to Nigeria
Abuja - FCT.
Your Excellency,
WHY SARAKI's PERSECUTION IS DANGEROUS TO NIGERIA's DEMOCRACY
I write to intimate you that democracy in Nigeria is being driven to a precarious state as a result of a new regime of persecution, intimidation, repression and suppression being meted out against perceived political opponents in the country. My purpose is to seek the urgent intervention of your humble self and the U.K. Parliament in preventing inhuman acts being carried out against innocent Nigerians in order to subjugate and crowd out credible opponents ahead of the 2019 general elections. I wish to inform you that in view of the unbearable events taking place in the country, I have written similar letters of appeal to the President of the United States, Donald Trump and the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, calling for their urgent intervention to safeguard the nation's democracy.
I believe that you are not oblivious of the current political developments in Nigeria capable of scuttling the nation's democracy if not checked. This letter is not intended to make you violate the sovereignty of the country, but to appeal to you to use yours good offices to dissuade the present administration and its agents from continuing with their present action of spreading fear in the interest of the nation's democracy and to guarantee the people's inalienable rights to free of speech, press, association and freedom from fear, intimidation and harassment.
The frame-up and trial of the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and a vast number of opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members, by the agents of the presidency is a sure sign that unless the leaders of the free world come to the aid of the country, conditions will deteriorate irretrievably.
Nigerians are alarmed at the dehumanizing campaign being waged by its own government against free citizens through incessant arrests, detention and trial of the innocent in the name of anti-corruption war, which has been generally acknowledged to be highly selective, going by the manner it is being conducted.
It has come to our knowledge that the executive and its henchmen have concluded plans to force the impeachment of Saraki and Dogara as President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives respectively. Already, the government is about to drag Dogara and some of his colleagues to court over allegations of budget padding earlier raised by a suspended lawmaker. Recently, a court purportedly directed the Federal Government to prosecute all the accused persons fingered in the budget padding scandal of which Dogara is number one. Even though Saraki has been on trial over alleged false asset declaration since 2015, new attempts are being made to link him with criminal elements as a way to gag him and his teaming supporters ahead of the up coming general elections.
Already the government has commenced phased withdrawal of security personnel attached to Saraki and Dogara, in a bid to expose them to danger and personal harm, ahead of the plot to forcefully remove them as presiding officers of the National Assembly. However, be it known to you and the U.K. Parliament that any attempt to compel the impeachment of the two presiding officers of the 8th National Assembly will be resisted by Nigerians just like the attempt to link Saraki with the Offa bank robbery suspects has been vehemently rejected across the country. This is one of the reasons the nPDP bloc of the APC is threatening to pull out of the alliance having realized that its members are being deliberately targeted for persecution.
Let it be known that the entire National Assembly is is on trial under the present administration. The trial of Saraki, spurious allegations against the Deputy President of the Senate, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu, the invasion of the Senate by sponsored thugs, the arrest and detention of senators Dino Melaye, Peter Uwaoboshi, Bassey Albert Akpan, Stella Oduah, the ongoing trial of Senator Isa Misau by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice over his differences with the Inspector General of Police and the attack on Senator Matthew Urhoghide at the Benin Airport for daring to speak up against constitutional breaches by the present administration goes to show that the National Assembly has come under executive siege and may collapse unless something is done urgently to reverse the trend of attacks against the lawmakers. However, democracy in Nigeria may cease to exist if the ferocious attacks against the National Assembly is allowed to continue.
I believe that the ordeal of the President of the Senate under the present administration, characteristically typifies the venomous zeal which has turned the agents of the state into instruments of victimization against its own people. You will agree with me that if the number three citizen of a country can be made to undergo such tremendous vilification, like the case of Saraki who worked assiduously to bring this government to power, then there is no hope for members of the opposition political parties and common citizens. A question the U.K. Government should ask is: How come anybody believed to be opposed to the policies of the present administration will sooner than later be accused of being corrupt and a sponsor of armed robbery and murders?
In view of the incessant attacks against its members and flagrant constitutional breaches by the executive, the National Assembly held a joint executive session Tuesday, June 5th, 2018, where it resolved to invoke its Constitutional powers to safeguard democracy, halt killings in the land and the anti-democratic acts of the executive and its agents. The National Assembly said and I quote: "Finally, the National Assembly will not hesitate to invoke its Constitutional powers if nothing is done to address the above resolutions passed today."
Permit me to say that Nigeria at this moment is at a cross-road politically and urgently requires the intervention of allies and friendly governments to sustain its hard earned democracy through the restoration of the rule of law, peace, unity and good governance. The world cannot afford to take passing interest in the ongoing political terror eclipsing the country at this time without risking grave humanitarian conditions that may result if law and order is allowed to breakdown completely.
This is why I am calling on you and the U.K. Parliament to prevail on the executive to halt their sinister campaign capable to truncating the nation's democracy and to halt all manner of human rights abuses in the country. As things stand, nobody knows who will be the next victim of government's anti-democratic and inhuman activities. It is my hope that you will spare a thought for Nigeria - as a proud member of the Common Wealth - and once again help us to navigate our way out of the present political darkness about to overwhelm the country.

The Project which started in 2012 by HE Henry Seriake Dickson with a 3.5 kilometers runway which is said to be amongst the best in the country Once completed, the airport will provide connections between the rapidly-growing state and the rest of Nigeria, and neighbouring regions.
Dickson said the airport project which was the brainchild of his administration has now been scheduled for completion by the second quarter of this year as the earlier date for completion (2019) is too late.

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Mr. DONALD TRUMP President Donald Trump Through: Ambassador Stuart Symington United States Ambassador to Nigeria U.S. Embassy, Diplomatic Drive Central Business District Abuja - Nigeria. URGENT NEED TO SAVE NIGERIA'S DEMOCRACY Sir, It is with great delight that I write you this letter, hoping that it meets you well. I congratulate you for having kept to your promise of "America first" so far in all your policies and programmes since assumption of office. Permit me to say that this is not my first letter to an American President, as I made a similar appeal to President Barack Obama in 2015, under former President Goodluck Jonathan, intimating him of the failings inherent in that government and thankfully he acted on the letter. I believe you will also take heed of the urgency of this appeal and act accordingly. Indeed, your effort to make good on your electioneering promises to the American people and the world, is widely acknowledged and appreciated by all lovers of democracy. However, it is rather unfortunate that in my country, for which I now write to seek your intervention, your friend, President Muhammadu Buhari, is largely paying lip service to his promises and has refused to follow the rule of law in the exercise of his powers under a democratic setting. Democracy in Nigeria is currently facing some of its most severe threats and unless something is done, it could be derailed and jeopardised altogether. Your Excellency sir, while you daily work to advance the cause of the United States, the Nigerian situation under the present administration, led by the ruling All Progressives Congress, has failed to promote the nation's interest and work for the sustenance of our democracy. It was most unfortunate that when President Buhari visited you recently, he minced words on the true situation of the current happenings in the country, which pose a great threat to our national fabric of Unity, Peace and Progress. How do I mean? The ruling APC and President Buhari were ecstatically embraced by Nigerians and voted into office with a promise to fight corruption, insecurity and grow the economy in 2015. However, three years on, prevailing maladministration and insecurity have left everyone spell bound, as wanton killings by herdsmen, kidnapping for ransom, armed robbery, corruption and insurgency in the north-east still ravage the country unabated. Furthermore, the cost of fighting these deadly malaise continues to skyrocket without corresponding mitigation in insecurity. A recent example is the withdrawal of $1billion from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) to fight Boko Haram and other security challenges across the country, by the Executive in collaboration with the National Economic Council, without due recourse to the National Assembly for statutory approval. More so, need I mention that the recent advance payment of $496million to your country for the purchase of 12 Tucano fighter jets, by the Buhari-led Federal Executive Council, was done in complete violation of extant laws regarding such purchases. I must say that that action remains illegal, criminal and a breach of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which empowers the National Assembly to approve all expenditures of the executive. I am aware that the United States is a nation ruled by laws and therefore cannot condone impunity and illegality of this nature - no matter the amount of benefits accruable to it from the sale. I would therefore, kindly appeal to you, to use your good offices to ensure that the $496million is repatriated into the Nigerian coffers and the deal renegotiated and made to follow due process. I want to also appeal to you to help save our democracy by prevailing on President Buhari and his administration to respect the fundamental Human Rights of Nigerians. The right to life, freedom of association, freedom of speech and freedom from fear, torture and molestation which are irreducible minimums in any democratic setting, have taken the back seat since this administration came into power. Unfortunately, these rights are being denied under the guise of fighting corruption by the Executive and its agents. Permit me to say that the fight against corruption by the Buhari government is laudable but grossly selective. I am by no means saying the Nigerian government should not investigate and prosecute corrupt officials or those found to have looted the public treasury. I support the fight against corruption and thus use this opportunity to call on the American government to help Nigeria to win the fight against corruption. However, this letter is to intimate you on the true situation about the ongoing fight against corruption in Nigeria, which is highly selective and partisan instead of being transparent and fair. While members of the opposition PDP and nPDP are being hunted and liquidated in the name of fighting corruption, fraud allegations against close aides/allies of the President and other favoured members of the coalition that fused to form the APC are being consistently swept under the carpet, with the culprits allowed to live freely without any form of legal repercussion. Regrettably sir, Nigerians are no longer free to express themselves or to criticise the activities and policies of the government without being assaulted or clamped down upon. For example, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, was one of those who supported Buhari and the APC to win the 2015 general elections, but today, has been branded an enemy of the state because he is criticizing the wrongdoings and failings of the administration. Similarly, I dare say that the harassment, coercion, intimidation and humiliation being meted out on the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, is basically because he emerged as the President of the Senate against the wishes of some powerful and influential members of the ruling party in 2015 and not because he is corrupt as being claimed by some agents of the executive. It is worthy of note, that H.E. Saraki belongs to the nPDP stock of the APC and his unjust trial and persecution over charges of false asset declaration since 2015 coupled with new attempts to link him with arrested murder suspects and cultists in his home state of Kwara, points to the selective nature of the fight against corruption being waged by the Buhari-administration. Note that the political onslaught against Saraki and the National Assembly under his leadership, culminated recently in the invasion of the Senate Chambers by sponsored thugs, who forcefully took away its mace and symbol of authority, without the prosecution of the perpetrators. Besides, facts have recently emerged to buttress this assertion about political persecution of perceived opponents of the government. A Special Investigator engaged by the Special Presidential Investigation Panel on Recovery of Public Property, Evangelist Victor Uwajeh, recently revealed that he was specifically directed to investigate Saraki and other PDP stalwarts who have been marked for persecution by the Buhari-led administration. Uwajeh, in a statement published by the Cable, an online newspaper, said the Special Presidential Investigation Panel on Recovery of Public Property, established by the Buhari's administration, was specifically created to investigate Saraki, his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, Senator Stella Oduah, Senator Albert Bassay Akpan, ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Femi Fani Kayode, Senator James Manager, Governor Nyesom Wike, Senator Jonah Jang, Patience Jonathan and the current National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Uche Secondus, among others. Kindly note that apart from HE Saraki, all other persons listed above are members of the opposition party, PDP. Mr. Uwajeh's statement, I must say has practically vindicated HE Saraki and other opposition members currently on trial that the allegations against them were politically motivated. Uwajeh had unequivocally stated that his refusal to work with the APC-led Government to humiliate the so-called enemies of Government has led him into exile. I write to you because Nigeria and America have a long history of friendly relations, added to our system of government which is modeled after that of the United States. Much as the United States and other national governments assisted Nigeria to return to democracy from military dictatorship in the past and has continued to support the nation's fight against insurgency and corruption, it is time to come to our aid once again in order to sustain our democracy and maintain strict adherence to the rule of law. I believe you are better placed to advice the current leadership on the need to obey the rule of law and be impartial in its ongoing anti-corruption campaign. I humbly invite you to work with other defenders of democracy, freedom and human rights across the world, like the European Union (EU), United Nations (UN) and organizations like the Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, etc, to ensure that the present gagging of the press and opposition political party members in Nigeria do not degenerate further. Help us to prevent imminent breakdown of law and order that may result to chaos and anarchy if the current atmosphere of government's orchestrated harassment, intimidation, coercion, denial of the right to free speech and outright repression of perceived enemies of the administration, is allowed to continue unabated. I thank you in anticipation that you will take positive steps to liaise with your friend, President Muhammadu Buhari, in order to prevent escalation of anti-democratic acts by agents of the administration. Long live U.S.A.! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Yours sincerely, Comrade Timi Frank Deputy National Publicity Secretary All Progressives Congress timifrank40@gmail.com 07033555555
Dankwambo is a honest leader and he is focus, educated, young, strong, down to earth, vibrant, creative, name it. Gome state is the most peaceful and fast developing state in Nigeria today through the transformation agenda of Dankwambo. I really think he deserve the mantol to lead as president of Nigeria. With his great antecedent he will transform Nigeria and make it great again.
Let me start by saying, That Nigeria has been going through a rough time in the hands of the Apc Administration. it's very pathetic, and I believe that the earlier power change hands the better. Apc and his Administraion lack the wheel power to govern his citizens from hunger, killings, joblessness, to mention but few. they have no focus on development project, All they talk about is corruption corrruption and corruption. Every of their failure is channeled to blaming the opposition, which to me i see it as incompetent to serve Nigeria. It will be wise to bring in a young educated, experience, strong, vibrant, skillful, creative, focus, free of religious and ethic tribalism. Which i find worthy in Ibrahim Dankwambo's leadership. #VoteApcOut
