Sometimes I wish my soul weren't so empty
Sometimes I wish that when I get lonely
Someone would just come by and embrace me
Sometimes I find myself searching for love poems,
love sonnets and love songs
But then I find myself hoping for lovemaking,
the love of somebody and for my soul to come back
where it should belong,

the magnificent scent
tickles my sense of smell…

of a rose in bloom…
delicate to the touch
i assume
the wonderful feeling
caresses my sense of touch…
i can touch you forever,
i love you so much.

the sight of you
like a rose…
more beautiful to me
striking and adorable to the eye
i see.
the beautiful scene
awakens my sense of sight
i could look at you forever
day and night

the taste of you
as sweet as the rose
in may
sweet and ripe
to the tongue
when i taste
the exciting taste
strikes my taste buds
i could taste you forever
enjoying your love

the sound of your heart
as quiet as a rose
that’s near
beating to the beat
of my heart
i hear
the quiteness
relaxes my sense of sound
i can listen to you forever
hearing your heart pound,

Long time passed since life made sense,
When all feelings seemed sharp and alive,
Emotions mounted from moment to moment,
Joyousness and pain were so easy to surmise;

Devils laughter hovers all around,
Inviting discourse within my mind,
Uninspired ideas in a barren landscape,
Insanity and logic reluctantly intertwine;

A pitiful pattern of habitual ways,
Sitting quietly amongst all your things,
Touching the sentiment in every treasure,
Waiting to hear that song you always sing;

Walking in circles, running into walls,
Going and doing is impossible to bare,
Just trying to match my pants to a shirt,
Becomes such a chore when your' not there;

Oblivious prisoner within my own despair,
Lost and all alone like a floundering ship,
A world devoid of your delicate charms,
Hurry, my dear, come home from your trip!
