The official Twitter account of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal website was hacked, the social media company confirmed the news on Thursday morning.

According to reports, a series of tweets were sent from the account asking its followers to donate cryptocurrency to the prime minister’s relief fund.

Twitter said it was aware of the activity and had taken steps to secure the compromised account. Twitter said,“We are actively investigating the situation.

“At this time, we are not aware of additional accounts being impacted,” a Twitter spokeswoman said in an emailed statement.

Shortly after, the tweets was taken down and the account restored.

A suspected ritualist nabbed by a vigilante group in the Okpanam area of Delta state has been forced to eat the faeces he was caught with.

The suspected ritualist in a video currently making rounds on the internet was seen with nylon of shit in his hand.

Our correspondent who witnessed the scene gathered that the young man whose name was not disclosed came into the Delta community from Anambra state where he was caught with human faeces.

When interrogated, the suspect said that he needed the faeces for a money ritual purpose.

Apostle Suleman Reacts To FG On CAMA The founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has reacted to Company and Allied Matters Acts (CAMA) signed by the federal government to regulate the body of churches.

Ekohotblog recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had signed the Company and Allied Matters Acts, CAMA into law on August 7, 2020, and the CAC intends to apply the law in churches. Reacting to this, the Apostle said no government will change the board of trustees in his church.

However, it turns out that Apostle Suleman is not the only one kicking against it as other notable bishops and pastors including Bishop Oyedepo, Chris Oyakhilome have also publicly kicked against the move by the FG.
Speaking during a programme on Wednesday at his church’s headquarters in Auchi, Edo State, Apostle Suleman said the law will not stand as it is ‘diabolic and evil intended against the church. ‘

‘The CAMA law is diabolic and evil intended against the church. They say they can change a board of trustees and no court can upturn it. Why will I respect an Act that does not respect the law?
“It is a useless Act, a cattle mentality. Yes, in America, London, government regulates charity organizations.
We have about eight branches in London and 30 in America. But in these countries, charity organizations can apply and collect grants from government.
In this last pandemic, I know churches that got $80, 000 USD, $100, 000 USD as support from government. When you support charity organizations, you have the right to regulate them.
But is it in this country (Nigeria) that we will apply for N100 million and government will release it? “If you give us, then you can regulate us.
We are not anti-government. Some weeks ago, I paid N4.5 as personal income tax to the state government. My wife also pays.
This is aside the taxes my companies pay. “Pastors are wealthy today because those they invested on years back are those taking care of them today.

“CAMA Act is evil intended, maliciously planned, it is not right and it will not stand.

“A government that borrows money and they don’t tell us how they spend it and they now want the church to tell them how they spend thiers.

Police Nab Notorious Robber Who Attempted To Rape Woman In Front Of Her Kids Lagos state police have arrested a notorious laptop and phone robber identified as Tope Oladiran after he attempted to rape a woman in front of her kids at Ori-Okuta, Agric area of Ikorodu, Lagos.

The Police spokesperson for Zone 2 Command, Onikan, DSP Hauwa Idris Adamu, confirmed the incident. He noted that the incident happened in March 2020, but the thief was recently arrested in his hideout in Ogun state.

The Federal Government has warned that the 945 deaths recorded in COVID-19 pandemic cases is a wake up call for citizens to take appropriate measures to avoid being infected.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, said this on Monday in Abuja at the joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.

According to Ehanire, as at August 10, 2020, Nigeria has recorded 46,577 cases from 317,496 samples tested so far, while 33,186 persons have been treated and discharged.
