Switched to IDM since I noticed ADM sometimes refuses to resume downloads that are originally labelled "resumable" this has resulted in wasted data on many occasions.

Based on my experience on both, IDM is way better and polished than ADM. It can also download torrent files , though I haven't tried that feature yet.

IDM+ has been winning when it comes download,

u can even use it for torrent

and download video and audio files from anysites that doesn't support download

This time I registered with MOD.
A friend chatted me up one day that he had a writing material. He said that he would share the material on one condition,that I must unlearn all the writing techniques or whatever I had learnt and study the materials to the teeth. I agreed and promised too. After all, what did the ones I learnt fetch.
Na so I read this material bumper to bumper and line by line without thinking of Jay, Liz etc.
On the test day, I must say this was
one of most stressful days of my life. I had to take all the tests same day. I came out of the exam hall downcast and unfulfilled about my writing.I was just blabbering during my speaking test. In my mind, I was planning on the next date to repeat the exam. I started practicing for writing since that day, I focused on Jay and was looking forward to 29th June to write another one because I was not giving up.

Today, I woke up early and broke down in tears . My husband consoled me soteey he tire. When it was 11am, I started purging and developed fever. I thought "My God, why have you forsaken me". Meanwhile, i
hadn't checked my result ooo.

you are right bro. those sellers are to be blame for it, they unlock phones by cooking bootloader and flash another rom. the problem will now be noticable by upgrading android version

So this evening I decided to check the cause of the soft brick that some people have been facing while transition from Oreo ROM to PIE based MIUI 10 ROM.

From my findings on XDA-forums the basic cause is Fake Unlocked Bootloader. So those who had their devices bricked didn't unlock their bootloader properly.

So those who where not affected had their bootloader unlocked properly before it was switched from CN ROM TO GLOBAL STABLE ROM.

But I have a Chinese Version with Global ROM and I did my update without any bootloop.

The theory is wrong because it affected some and not all.

gave an advice because of experience with rom diffrence, so is now left for the owner to choose which way to go

your phone will enter bootloop because

1. the phone is chinese version that comes with locked/unlocked bootloader with chinese rom and later changed to global rom with the current android version. ota update directly to diffrent android version will result to bootloop

2. Updating the globa rom to pie(ugrading from android version 'oreo' to another 'pie 'with different rom version that comes with phone) through ota will allow the bootloader to lock again and this will result to bootloop


Advice

download full pie rom and flash through miflash tool and make sure u dont allow bootloader lock during flashing..

Facing the error below.

You need to disable driver signature on win 10 to be able to install requir drivers

To disable driver signature enforcement do the following:
1. Press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard and cli the Restart button.
2. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings and click the Restart button.
3. When your computer restarts you’ll see a list of option Press F7 on your keyboard to select Disable driver signature enforcement.
4. Your computer will now restart and you’ll be able to install unsigned drivers.
Bear in mind that this method only temporarily disables driver signature enforcement, so be sure to install all the unsigned drivers as soon as you can.

if the phone boot loader is Locked , in as much the phone is global version and the previous rom is Globa , u can flash global rom with lock bootloader

I updated too via OTA without any problem. Global version, locked bootloader, no mod installed. Maybe we should find out what is peculiar to those that got bricked.

i think they update through OTA using custom recover not stock
