Almondjoy,
THIS IS OLANAJIM! I am using my sister's ID to get this message across. It doesn't matter if she were banned. She stoppod posting because of some insultive posts she read. And because she dislike seun's attitude. She has since been posting to other forums.

I told Seun this morning that he should be wary of banning people that make a rational complaint and those who oppose his view on topical issues. In response, he called my suggestion useless and promptly banned me! He then deleted the exact post and his irrational reply ostensibly to hide his shortcoming from members.

I want to state here that I had no intention of opening a new username. I have honour and refused to be cowed by anyone regardless of his standing. He probably thought men and women who post on Nairaland are people with demented mentality. People who possess lower IQ than his. I am convinced that the best reply to a despot is not criticism. The way to subdue power drunk people is to let their power ruin them.

I am also empower to see a new era for nairaland where men and women of substance would gradually desert the forum. When fools sorround a fool the result is magnificient deceiption.

On the mentoring, we have started working on it. But as you rightly observed, the process was slowed down. I would be communicating with you through yahoo mail. Pls always watch out for my mails.

@ALL,
ANYONE INTENDING TO CHAT ME SHOULD USE MY EMAIL. Oracle_nj@yahoo.com

i won't change my username and I may not post through this ID again after today.

I see hope for a new Nigeria. We must not let the drives of people afflicted with defective mentality stop the work of the patriots.

Let remain in touch through, the normal route.

As for seun, the only word I have for him is word of prof Wole Soyinka:
"CAUTION! EVEN BREATHE IS DRAWN CAUTIOUSLY DELIBERATELY. A QUICK GLANCE ROUND THE ROOM FOR HIDDEN SPYHOLE. THE HIDDEN MICROSCOPE"

Family / Re: Why Do People With Kind Hearts Die Early? by Lamod: 10:47pm On Sep 07, 2007
@topic

this is serious. I don't think kind hearted men dies for their kindness. Yet, that observation does happen now and then. I once remember when my adopted mum died. It was pain. The fellow I prayed God to kill didn't die! I started imagining all kind of things. Again, the trend repeated itself, a kind woman that wanted to secure a job for me, years ago died just before I was introduced to the new job. I was crying within that I had to wonder why useless people are spared.

But beyond the outpouring of my emotion, I know the truth. Everyone knows the truth. But we don't think of it in our time of grief.

One, good or bad, a man would die someday. Death keep no calender.

Two, the evil men around us have such a negative impact on us that those of us with sane mind would pray for their early death! Every extra second such evil men spend among us seem like ethernity to us. It is as if their longevity prolong our suffering. Hence, when they dies we hardly wish they had stay a second longer, though we may shed crocodile tear. Goodmen on other hand add values to our life. They gave us reason to keep hope alive. Every second they spend with us seem to add eternity to our joy. Hence, when such people pass away, we wonder if we would ever have another kind hearted man again.

When Abacha kicked the bucket, the whole nation jubilated. No one bother to know how and where he was burried. But when it was MKO Abiola turn, there was a national chao. Gone too soon!

We must realize that death have no preference. When it visit a good man, the best we should do is to celebrate them and make conscious effort at immortalising them so that their legacy would outlive them.

It is only through this mean that we would make dying attractive to good men. Those evil men still living would have to die several times before their death!

For those who have lost a dear beloved, let have faith in the realization soon, we are meeting them again, to die no more. In joy, and lasting bliss.
Romance / I Just Feel I Share This Stuff: Aye Toto! by Lamod: 9:35pm On Sep 07, 2007
Those of us in the southern part of Nigeria would be familiar with a weekly live programme running on MiTv, (every sunday between 9:30 and 10:30pm), on GTV every thursday, and also in Oyo state because.

Labe Orun, anchor by chief Bashiru Adisa.

Recently, he released a video Title:AYE TOTO. I would encourage any of us interested to get the VCD and see how extreme some women can go when plotting revenge for a failed love.

Those of us who could not understand yoruba language would be glad to watch it as it had been fully subtitled. Though, I am not a fan of the TV programme, I believe we can learn alot from it.

A man by the name SALIHU, met a lady at a canteen and they both agree to date one another. Their Love was love at first sight.

They subsequently met at the same canteen. During one of that meeting, the Lady noticed that SALI was admiring her friend whom she brought along. She called SALI about three times and warned him not to try cheating on her. Somehow SALI ran into trouble with his lover after he apparently cheated on her. And the woman decided to kill SALI through occultic power to show him that she meant business.

Initially, maggots started coming out of SALI manhood. And soon the situation got worse as he battle between life and death.

Fortunately, he was refered to a strange man in SAKI, Oyo state. Through the man's effort, SALI regain his right to live but HE LOST HIS PENIS! The man was shown live, alive without his penis! He reportedly said the ''thing" just dropped from his trouser while walking on the road! And everybody that saw it fleed! Yet, he was alive!

Had it not been well documented with a renown professor, Adebayo Faleti on set, I would never have believe it.

Sadly, another unfortunate man was shown with his own KINI about to drop!

MORAL?

Those guys playing women like football should beware. Strange women are on the prowl. Hurt them and you would pay the ultimate price.

KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH.

A word is for the wise!!

My Creed:

Cost sharing, is just my way of encouraging prudency. If a lady know she is also footing the bill, she may think twice before squandering the resource. Today, we have a situation where ladies can be more prosperous than their husband. At time, the husband may be poor while the wife is rich.

I have this weird couple in my cousin's place. The wife earns more than the husband. The husband is a lazy type, he had never seem to be able to stay on job. This man will simply sit back and watch the lady do household chores, cook, attend to children without offering assistance even when the baby is crying!

Funny enough, the lady doesn't mind at all. She seem to be enjoying it. She kneel down for the man while serving, all in the name of love. Anyway, the trouble is, if this man buy food for family consumption, which is rare, he will start preaching prudency, and things like that. He want the lady to 'manage' and stop wasting food. On the other hand, if it is the woman that buy with her money and waste food, the man would not complain. He would in fact eat more than everyone combined.

When we share cost, we know when money is being wasted.

Yes, cost sharing can be extended to other areas. Home maintainance, paying children tuition, emergency plan such as medical bills, etc it takes planning. Without planning, marriage may be affected.
Romance / Re: My Mystical Encounter With Love: Love Is A Cripple! by Lamod: 10:30pm On Aug 06, 2007
I think you are trying to be a bit philosophical. You are right in your assertion. Love cannot stand alone. Most of us ignore this fact until we see the reality. We have read of two love birds turning against one another when the man is uselessly poor, or when one of the partners had a wrong peception of marriage etc.

I bet money is one of those supports, if you mean those things that make love real.

No money, No love. A poor man can find love if he had other ingredients. But if he is lacking in them, God bless him.

Other ingredients may be "sincerity" "honesty" and attitude.

There is no general rule, but everyone has his or her own standard.

Maybe there should be cost sharing. So that she may understand the pain of having to throw money away. In relationships when the lady is just gulping it down, chances are that she wont apprecite the value of money use to buy the food.

Ladies are not to blame sha. They are just trying to make you happy
