Oga sir, how na? Wic office you take d transcript go? U are to take it to registrar's office ooooo, dem dey collect... Persin submit for my presence... I was there yesterday to confirm weda my own don arrive cos my school don send am tey tey... But lo and behold, it was not there.. I had to go back to my school for a reprint and I discorverd dat they truly sent it but to a wrong address..( PG skul secretary instead of registrar's office) even when I specifically wrote registrar's address on the request form...hmmmm! I waka today no be small.. But I thank God that it has been taken care of and I hav my transcript nw... Will go and drop it in uniben soon..
I therefore advise dose of una wen deir skul tell say dem send deir transcript, u better go to uniben and confirm if its there now that there is still much time to avoid stories dat tosh...

efe2real: Got admission both in 2010 and 2011 when Uniben medical licence was withdrawn. In 2010, Uniben first gave me admission into medicine, but due to their accreditation issues, I was transferred to Pharmacy. In 2011, I tried my luck again and got Optometry. I wrote DE in 2012 and didnt make it. This is my 4th DE (even though I am not proud to say it). Your state of origin (Deltans and Edos have added advantage) and your score are the most important criteria Uniben use in offering DE students admission. And by the Moyes, I made a 2.2 in my first degree.

My sista.. Tins are just too serious now.. The tot of skul nowadays is the begining of fear and stress unlike den wen we were always happy to be in skul.. Evrytin den was fun... D assembly ground, the matching songs( the day is bright, Johnbull my son, etc) d class work, boys/girls scout, e.t.c.. in dose days wen we would use slate for writing, we cleaned what we wrote almost immediately so we could write anoda but then, we still pass at the end of the term even wen we didn't have any note to read.. I really miss those days. Will skul ever be like dat again?

Nony1: The related courses are bch,mcb,anatomy,physiology,med.lab,radiography,med.rehab.....i saw some1 with b.sc chem coming for mbbs...dats way off ! Do u knw y most schools prefer A level? Direct entry started with A level.....if doubt jux google it or ask any Prof.......i believe God will give us all our desired courses amen ! One love !

All courses in faculty of natural sciences are related to mbbs.. Chemistry is well related my bro.. I knw direct entry started wit A level, nobody dey drag am.. There is One bini adage wen say if u see wetin pass farm, u go troway farm.. So my bro, I hail dose with first degree even if na 3rd class cos e no easy.. D truth be say we no rilly knw how uniben dey do am, so let's keep speculating..lol

Nony1: The problem is the score.....uniben cnt use score alone,its obvious....more dan 3 ppl got 83 and so on.....if only score is used den many applicants will be side listed.....as for 1st degree,my frnd dat got med last yr said one must hv 2 1 in his b.sc and dat it must be in related fields.....as 4 Gce A level uniben admits dem....all my frnds were taken......this matter has long been settled by God.....i tnk God 4 testimonies unfolding !

I agree with u.. Those wit B.Sc did related courses dat why they cud apply.. So no issue wit dat.. They are not even supox to write de self if not because of d kind country wen we dey.. In dose days, B.Sc. Holders go straight to 300 level. Na because say mata don spoil, dats why dem dey folow A level drag for DE.. But all d same, I tink UNIBEN is best to decide their fate..

Nony1: I did cambridge gce A level and had 8 points and scored 69 in pude...going in 4 mbbs

Dats quite cool.. Most of dose MBBS aspirants applied with first degree but I dnt knw if UNIBEN give special preference to dem.. I heard skuls like UI prefer A level to first degree (dats weird) but no mata what, your chances are high if u beliv so cos na God dey giv admission

You are right bro, dats what most skuls do but UNIBEN does not... Dnt knw if they will this year.. Conventionally, they wud use ur score alone and oda criteria but definately not CGPA and I still tink its gonna be applicable dis year cos dem neva request for transcript.. Many of us are yet to process n submit our transcript... So how will it be possible for them to knw ur CGPA? Skuls dat do combine ur CGPA with ur score usually request for transcript even before d screening... All we need to do nw is to pray and give thanks to God

STORM2: I'm hearing 2 ppl scored 86....not verified oh so I can't defend it. But I can say uniben has a strange way of admitting...its not always based on scores alone(that's how I feel oh). That's why people emphasize prayer cos that's really all u can count on. No fear.
