Prinss:so, my rate of getting calls was merely restricted then? |
lemme not die in silence biko. have i been chased outta QA? i resumed last week after a very looong break. tbh, i had a 1.7 rating and although i hadn't done 10 calls yet. i think, 5/6 calls, can't remember. But since last week that i resumed, till this moment, i haven't seen 1 call at all at all. i was thinking the scarcity affected me drastically, it affects bronze members mostly anyway. but now that you guys are saying there were calls last week. does that mean, i'm done with QA? |
Olamyyde:kadan kadan bruh. you weren't the only one. maybe not many of us, but i've seen a few gus here lament over Semedo being benched
|
Astark:and killed his career with bench or bad development baa? ![]() |
so, Mirandes beat Sevilla, 3-1, despite losing a pk. could have been 4-1 kenan. hehehehehe, wonders |
biomustry:another Boateng obviously. which team would let go of their main striker a day to window closing? which ambitionless team is that? |
"I would've loved for Neymar to come back. I understand the people that are against it. It's normal for everything that has happened with Ney, for how he left and how he left us. It's normal and logical that lots of people don't want him to come back, but thinking about it on a sporting level, Neymar is one of the best in the world for me and he would've increased the team's chances of achieving all the results that we want." This is what Lionel Messi said in an interview with Sport in September, once the summer transfer window had closed and Barcelona's attempts to bring Neymar back had failed. It was the closing of an attempt at a televised signing, one that was fought firing blanks at a financial tank like Paris Saint-Germain. Leo's words lamented not having by his side the third letter of the attack with which he was European champion for the last time. And Leo was right. The signing was Neymar, the player Barcelona needed to reign Europe again and keep reigning in Spain. The Argentine stuck his neck out so that his Brazilian friend could return to Barcelona, but Antoine Griezmann had already been signed and the club didn't have the financial means to be able to reunite MSN again. Time is showing that Messi's determination was justified. It's not remembered that the No.10 positioned himself publicly in favour of the signing. Beforehand, Gerard Pique had revealed that he, Leo and Luis Suarez were willing to take a pay cut so that they could balance the books. He was the final piece to the puzzle that Leo believed would've taken Barcelona to the next level. The return of Neymar generated a lot of doubts at Barcelona, but the Brazilian has been sweeping everyone aside on a sporting level this season. After his latest injury, Neymar is back to his brilliant best, not only in goals, but in his impact on the game. His numbers up until now, despite the suspension in the first two matches of the Champions League and the muscle problem that kept him out for a month and a half, are outstanding. In 1,456 minutes and 17 matches, he's scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in comparison to Griezmann's 11 goals and four assists in 2,271 minutes and 28 matches. At the end of January, Barcelona are looking to sign a striker to cover the hole left by Suarez, with Ousmane Dembele struggling with injuries and Griezmann appearing and disappearing. If only they'd listened to Messi... culled from Marca... |
So Carles Perez has gone on loan to Roma. lol, issokay |
tesppidd:He's a good kid, very talented. but i "think" he's like Dembouz, in the sense that, if he doesn't have space, he can't dribble. Dembele has pace, but needs sufficient space to beat his marker, and that's why he loses the ball easily when he isn't given that space. That's what i noticed in the Valencia match, but i can't be certain about that yet. Yes, we have a very weak squad, and i have given up about Dembouz already, i can only hope the Manager manages to bring out the best in him and he stops going injured regularly. Still, we ain't winning UCL. until something, idk, unexpected happens |
This is 2020, and we're still relying on "one man" to win games for us. that's very bad. Leo is an astounding player no doubt, but he's human. He has a kind of understanding with Luisito which i've now come to admit, despite Fatso's annoying form. But if Fatso is out for 4 months, the least Leo can do is to form that same patnership with Griez. We can't continue like this. You guys don't get mad about the pass to Messi shit? I mean, it's alright if he's free, he's our best player, they can do their pass to Messi shii. But what i saw against Valencia was where the team won't pass the ball until they see Messi. Leo can be in the most awkward positions and they would still pass to him, yet, there will be other free players in the attack. Now, that's sickening. Why do we have a Griezmann that has all season been useless in the wings, still playing in the wing, and Messi, our only creative player, playing 9/false 9 for us. Effectively, we don't have a striker. I hate fatso, but as useless as i thought he were, we still had a player manning our no 9 position. I saw Griez and Fati switch positions like 3ce, and still had nothing to show for it. Leo can not and should not be our striker, and still be doing the job of having to create, that's a very daunting task, against an experienced team like Valencia at the Metsalla even. the results wasn't surprising. My Points? I see no reason why Leo is playing as our 9 and Griez playing as a LW. Fati's best performances i reckon, has been while playing from the left. Griez should play the 9 or false 9, whichever hardens their deeq, and Messi his traditional RW. we wouldn't be burdened with the lack of striker in the team, because that's what we face each matchday. If they want to stick to the Griez-Messi-Fati scenario, then Leo and Griez have gotta for the Luis-leo relationship, as fast as possible, else it would be a long half of the season. Worthy of note, Arturo plays so well with Messi, how so? ![]() |
Ibukzy:Like i said, i stayed till after the players post match interview. and it was written at the bottom of the screen Budweiser king of the Match Arturo Vidal I cant argue again mbok |
Ibukzy:Ask Budweiser o, they gave him MOTM. i saw it after the game. i watched Busquets and the Granada player talk |
For those of us who still have unanswerable questions about the Great Pyramid of Giza. to an extent, here is an answer. watch this video and see how a host of questions were answered https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q6Xx4FqP8s |
DrXavierCage:i no dey shame. i am, and i still am. its just one game, doesnt change my mind. he's class, no doubt, but he's slow too. i'll see run of games before i change my mind |
Olamyyde:i figured cos Roberto was La Masia. Or the coach is still testing waters, dunno sha, with time we'd know |
paradigmshift:Kamdan. Ansu did, got saved, another went off target. Griezmann did, got saved, another went off target Rakitic did Busquets did Vidal did Heck, all our midfielders and attackers that started the game played outside shots. stop making it look like none of them tried the initiative. Rakitic only plays outside shot when he's very free Busquets hardly does Granada players never opened space for us to play shots, but they all still played, albeit off target. no dey whine here like they all didnt do anything but pass the ball around |
Ibukzy:Vidal was.....not Sergio |
Joebie:so Jigawa no get stadium? |
egopersonified:No it's not. He doesn't even have a Kenyan Passport. He's never been Kenyan, ever. unless Kenya fall hands, they shouldn't allow him. He can not legally even contest. he'd have to denounce his American citizenship, and i think, i think o, that can affect his being "Former POTUS" |
Osobi32:kamdan! You think FGN will ever honor Ojukwu? Someone who started a civil war and then escaped into exile after losing? National heroes still boku for ground wey dem never honor, na one traitor ojukwu dem go honor. lol |
IcraveLove:i for say you be that girl wey break my heart o, but your location says Enugu, and i'm pretty sure she can't be in Enugu |
T9ksy:mehn bruh, for real, i'm tired. i dived into our history to find out what's wrong and how it started going wrong, months down the line, i still don't know any better |
T9ksy Also, while we keep talking about Jan 15 coup, we should also keep talking about July 29 coup that was a clean and clear anti igbo coup. We can't be talking about Jan 15, yet conveniently ignoring July 29(which happened after the igbo killings that was going on in the northern part of the country) |
T9ksy:i stated what i said, Ejoor said. Ejoor was lying isn't on me. besides, how do you expect either Ejoor or Gowon to proof that they met to talk about a coup that didn't happen? c'mon man. even Dimka's coup, until it happened, no one believed it would. every coup is a farce, until it is carried out at the bolded, that's my point. We are all blaming Nzeogwu and co for doing what a lot of soldiers in the army wanted to do. Like if Nzeogwu didn't do it, some other officer's wouldn't have done it. haba naa. I repeat, it could have been ethnic purging(we'd never really know based on intent, but their actions proved it), but that was because majority of the top politicians were Northerners |
T9ksy:Yes, honestly, i think one thing we all will agree on is that Ironsi didn't handle the coupist very well. but then, in his defence, the Northerners were asking for them to be Killed(or was it tried?) and the Nation was applauding them as a hero of "democracy"(yeah, doesn't make sense). He prolly did it wrong for jailing them in the east. as for not releasing Awo.......i have no comments on that ![]() |
T9ksy:Read Maj Gen David Ejoor's "reminiscences" Former Military Gov of Mid West Gowon himself, and another officer, i've forgotten, came to meet him to orchestrate a coup against the government(after the sham of '64 elections). Even the civilians were hoping that the military would take over, and this was why "there was wide spread jubilation nationwide" after the coup. Gowon and his band could have carried out the coup, they didnt, situation got worse and the junior officers did |
atmstyle:Gun carrying officers? BLATANT LIE! the Nigerian Army gun carrying officers was filled with Northerners. and that's why After Gowon, there was Murtala who ruled with Obj and "TY Danjuma", Buhari, IBB, Abacha. Some of us have read a lot brother, a lot. |
atmstyle:Sorry no, point of correction. After Nzeogwu's coup, Ironsi was Head of State, and despite Brig Babatunde Ogundipe, a Yoruba, being CSSHQ, Awo wasn't released until Gowon came into power. it was Gowon who released Awo, not Ironsi. and if memory serves me right sef, the coup plotters were all in jail then. So, how did they being in jail, make Gowon release Awo from jail? |
RuudVanNisteroy:I'm not defending fraud, but you should be logical. you don't have proof do you? When Ihedioha won, you didnt exclaim of the 100% inflation of accredited voters o, because your man won. and now that Hope won, as a result of the incompetence and laxity of your Ihedioha, you're screaming murder. Murder kill una there! |
As you come here to celebrate(in reality, wail) the Jan 15 coup, make sure you come back to celebrate the July 29 Counter Coup, in which the Northerners killed non-northerners(not only igbo that killed them), Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Urhobo, everyone. And that even Obasanjo as at then only nearly escaped being killed by his junior officers in Kaduna, because he was a non Northerner. The Counter Coup was despite that there had been Kano Riots of which Igbos(or was it Non Northerners again?) had been maimed and killed, because of the Jan 15 coup. When you come, come here with facts! dont just come and wail |
