Hello guys,

please for those living in Dublin, please is it ever possible to book an appointment to register at the police/immigration? I've been trying for the past weeks on their website and I can't get one

Hello, you may want to try Hazelwood or Gateway student village. They are both close to DCU and the price is relatively moderate.

Cheers!!!
Thanks a lot. God bless

Going to Dublin in January, I am a female. I am booking hostel with Isaacs Hostel. Getting some discounts days off a week. Will look for room mate when I get there.
If I can't secure a place before, I'll definitely do this

Check Griffith Hostels or send them an email. They have hostels and you could book for a short stay.

Else, check booking.com to reserve temporary hostel for a week or 2 and you can sort the rest out on arrival.

Cheers
Thanks mate. I'll check it out

Why not book hotels first...den wen u get to Dublin u will look for accommodation physically...try booking.com there are various hostels dere
Given the difficulty in finding accommodation, I think it is better you secure one beforehand cause it is very likely that you stay in a hotel for WEEKS once you're there

Pls, does any female need a roommate in Dulin?

I feel this info might be beneficial to someone here.

My roommate is graduating this January and will be retiring back to his country. In lieu to the difficulty in securing accommodation here in Dublin, any prospective male student that is interested can replace him. The accommodation will be available from the 15th of January, 2018 but he is willing to move out if the person taking the accommodation is coming earlier than that date. The house rent is £430 monthly + £30 for utilities, making it £460 monthly. It's a 2-bed space, very neat and the house has every modern facility a house should have. It's a first come, first serve basis. I am placing this here cause I need a brother from my own country in same apartment with me..lol.

NOTE: Please DO NOT pay anyone upfront from Nigeria at the moment for accommodation. You ought to inspect the accommodation and if it's suitable to your taste before you pay. I am saying this so that no one here will fall prey to scam artists mascurading as students studying presently in Ireland and wanting to offer assistance.
Please is your offer still valid? I have to be in Dublin (DUblin city university) for an exchange semester starting 24th Jan.
thanks
