Praxis758:Ask yourself what ECOWAS, AU, EU, UN, WHO, WTO, IMF, WORLD BANK and all the rest, ask yourself what they did when the guy jumped bail. Ask yourself if UK and all other countries this guy has been broadcasting from, ask yourself if they did not break international law by harbouring a fugitive and leader of a proscribed terrorist organisation. Ask yourself if UN, UK, USA, ICJ, AU, EU, PDP, APC, ETC will pay for all the properties damaged and lives lost because of Kanu's formation of ESN and the attendant mayhem they carried out. It's easy to switch off our brains and reason one sided when issues like this emerge. Don't be a victim of such myopic thinking. Nnamdi Kanu messed up by attacking institutions of the state violently and killing indiscriminately when he knows he is not capable of waging a full war against Buhari led govt. His failure to realise that elected politicians in Biafraland are the biggest obstacle to actualising biafra is his undoing. I expected IPOB to be a strong pressure group capable of garnering support for and getting people who will speak up publicly in house of assembly and house of representatives and senate elected. IPOB should have led a massive campaign against politicians in their region because they are the biggest enemies of biafra due to what they're benefiting from Nigeria. But I don't know what kind of opium they smoke in IPOB that makes them think without tact. Shít has hit the fan. Nnamdi Kanu is now like a fowl and I know the heartless politicians who have been threatened by his activities will pluck off all his feathers while he's still alive. 6 Likes |

Stop applying for jobs in Nigeria and hoping you'll get one that will take you out of poverty but our youths won't hear. Aside from NNPC that steals blindly from the government and is able to pay their workers bogus salaries, no other company will do that without enslaving you, putting you in chains and taking away your freedom. The time you spend doing one shitty job or applying for one nonsense job to another is enough to go and learn one good digital skill that can give you the income and freedom you truly deserve as a human. Stop working for Nigerian employers. They are heartless and inconsiderate and will never pay you the true worth of your time. Digital Affiliate marketers, video editors, graphics designers, seo specialists, programmers, web developers, writers, english language teachers and a lot more will always be needed. Go and take loan or borrow from friends and family if you don't have and dedicate 6-12 months of your life learning any valuable skill so that you won't be a tennis ball in the hands of Nigerian employers and even if you choose to work for them, you'll do so on your own terms. The day Nigeria politicians stop awarding inflated contracts to their cronies so that they can go back through the back door to collect the extra percentage, that is the day we will start moving forward in this country. By now, all government expenditure and income should be trackable online. Each state and the federal government should have a dedicated Portal for doing this. We also ought to have an NGO consisting of patriotic individuals from all professions who can audit and evaluate the true cost of projects being awarded and carried out by government at all levels. This should greatly improve transparency and reduce corruption. But no, we have a plentitude of citizens who scream their brains out defending the same politicians who keep them perpetually poor and feed them just enough crumbs to keep them alive so they can keep defending the politicians and tearing at themselves. If this was in Nigeria, his parents will find illegal ways to make sure he keeps moving up from one class to another... He will then find way to enter university and graduate through the back door with this learning disorder. Later, he will contest for political office and get elected by foolish people in his constituency. Later everybody starts suffering and causing Lord Lugard for their woes forgetting that the parents and other members of the society contributed towards making him what he is by pushing him through the education and political system despite poor performance. When we are ready to get this country working it will work. The youths in the south are extremely lazy to farm... They prefer office job and any quick money making schemes. They depend on the north for food and the insecurity caused by herdsmen and kidnappers has made farming in the north extremely difficult. Add the agitations and insecurity in many parts of South east and south west and you have a full blown food insecurity and scarcity as even northerners are now scared to move their limited farm produce down south for sales while fools who won't even plant one grain of corn in the south keep praying the situation escalates. kaycyor Calculate your rent, transport, feeding and other basic necessities. Add minimum 10k monthly savings. If the 50k covers the above and the position or job isn't something you'll be ashamed to put on your CV, then take the job... From there, start learning a digital skill you can use to freelance on places like upwork and fiverr. Also find other vocations you can attach to the 50k job and keep developing yourself. 2-4 years time, you'll be earning comfortably well from your side hustle and you won't be scared of any employer in Nigeria who are mostly heartless. Tell your friend to use his head. If he becomes lazy and refuses to persevere through the challenges and hardship and learn a good digital skill and keeps hunting for one high salary job, he will either end up a slave in Nigeria working for less than the value of his time or a broke man living from hand to mouth in the city or his village. Aunty mugnmuffin What I want to tell you is that you'll make a terrible mistake in life if you base your marital decision on the religious orientation you have been socialized and brought up in, especially in Nigeria. I don't know if the guy is right for you because you have said nothing about his temperament towards you, his moral standing, his outlook towards life, his level of discipline and honesty, etc... and then your level of physical attraction and sexual compatibility... Those are the factors that holds a marriage together and those are the factors that I'll advise any lady to consider more in choosing a partner. As long as the person believes in God and obeys the two greatest commandments, love your neighbor as yourself and believe in no other god except God then his other "church" activities counts less. You listen too much to pastors who preach and write one thing but commit tons of sin in their closets... Religion is the biggest scam in Nigeria after politics. That kind of guy will not allow his children to be brought up like sheep that majority of Nigerian youths have become... lazy and relying on God for miracles and solutions to their problems when God created them whole with all the organs and attributes to dominate their environment and solve their problems. If I dated someone like you, I'll make it clear that I'll respect your religious views and lifestyle but I wouldn't want you to force it on me or my children. The problem is you have not had a deep and full discussion with the guy on your religious concerns, it's eating you deep and you're allowing what your dishonest and corrupt god of men say to override your judgement. Perhaps, you have seen another brother in church you fancy and you'd like to add more sheep to the multitude of youths in Nigeria. The mods won't do anything about all the rubbish going on here because they're more interested in getting comments and associated traffic on nairaland than maintaining sanity. Look at the pattern, scam and counter scam accusations is what generates conversations here aside from people posting adverts. Just like tribal and ethnic slurs generate controversy and comments in politics section. Nairaland is becoming a playground for touts you normally find in a motor park all because of need for traffic, traffic being generated via ethic and tribal e-warfare or scam accusations or ponzi or gambling... Everything the rules on nairaland forbids yet they still thrive. You can no longer create quality posts or educational thread without one bot or one mod banning you for links you provide to aid your explanation or teaching. The worst CBN in Nigeria's history. Remove BDCs and and order commercial banks to sell forex directly to consumers who apply subject to a monthly minimum maximum limit as the case may be. BDCs were created by corrupt politicians to steal forex and also to create jobs for northern people...
