Education / Re: The Best Business Schools In The World by LaNiger(m): 6:32pm On Sep 11, 2009 |
I am currently an MBA student in a top twenty five U.S University. The advantages of an MBA outside Nigeria are numerous, obviously one has to be very selective in choosing which school to attend. Not all MBA degrees are the same. Obviously the elite schools remain unchallenged with providing exceptional opportunities to their graduates. An MBA is a wise investment if you can get your company to support you by paying for it. I work for a Fortune 500 firm here in NY, and they provide substantial financing for my MBA degree; which I am doing part time. The ability to network with your classmates and the intellectual conversation that goes on, broadens your horizon. Although it is quite expensive, it is worth every penny. Just this week I was approached by one of our Senior Executives to find out about going to Nigeria on behalf of the company at a leadership meeting. One of my colleagues a Nigerian is the CFO for the Canadian Region. He also has an MBA. An MBA puts you at the table with the major players in any organization. Especially outside Nigeria, there are very few minority students in MBA programs here in the U.S. I would highly recommend it to anyone I personally know. 1 Like |

Valglobal, why haven't you traveled to Cuba yourself? PLEASE!!! find yourself a real job or may be a better country and you might get some responses. Edo State and probably Kano are better than Cuba on their worst days. |
Family / Re: Can You Disclose Your Salary To Your Spouse? by LaNiger(m): 3:32pm On Sep 08, 2009 |
It is important that you are your spouse are on the same page. The bible says "Shall two walk together except they be agreed?" My wife knew how much I made before we got married, we have joint accounts and individual accounts. She has access to every account and has all my passwords and atm pin. It is essential that marriage is built on trust and that is how we have managed to keep our marriage working. Most importantly there is peace in our home, although I manage the finances, she trusts my judgement in these area and she knows that I am financially prudent. I believe in full disclosure, although difficult it is very necessary. |

LaNiger:Please make your information public if it is genuine. I sincerely hope you are not talking about the "World Passport" which is not a legitimate travel document. I checked the web to see if such a document existed before commenting on your package and to my surprise I could not find anything. Please direct me to the appropriate link or website and if it is true, why are people not using it? I seriously doubt that it exists and your posting it here does not mean it is genuine. |
Travel / Re: Humiliation At Gatwick Airport And The Appeal Afterwards by LaNiger(m): 6:14pm On Aug 07, 2009 |
whiteguy: Whiteguy, it is quite obvious that you were intimidated in school and out performed by many Africans. This is the only explanation I can think of for your lack of empathy. Your country is on the brink of collapse (Financial Crisis) and you are worrying about a pregnant woman. At the rate at which things are going your white led country might be going into the ground, I think you should give some minorities a chance to lead. Hint (USA). It appears that your friends in power have run out of options. I hope your wife never experiences a similar situation, "remember what goes around comes around." |

STConcept: There is nothing like a Global Citizenship package. This is really becoming comical, please stop lying to people and get a real job. You cannot make it past MMA with your so called "Global Citizenship Package." |

Travel / Re: Which Countries Are Visa-Free To Nigeria Citizens? by LaNiger(m): 10:40pm On Jul 26, 2009 |
Kingsoboi I can't imagine the situation you are in, but sympathize with you. It is quite difficult for anyone to get to the USA or Europe these days and there is probably nothing anyone here can do to help you. You will have to apply for the visa yourself and find your way into these countries legitimately. Finding work in these countries is also difficult without work authorization. I know that things in Africa are quite difficult, not to say that it is not difficult here in the USA or Europe. It will be extremely difficult without the proper paper work. I wish you all the best in all your endeavors and hope things work out for you. |
Travel / Re: Which Country In Africa Has The Most Beautiful Women? by LaNiger(m): 1:30pm On Jul 19, 2009 |
I happen to personally know Nomsa Mlambo, who is listed as a Cameroonian; this is not true. She is actually from Zimbabwe, I have no idea where you got the pictures from. Most of these women are not from the countries you think they are. I personally think Ethiopian women are the most beautiful in Africa. |
