Most phone buyers actually care about brand recognition, only geeks like us care about snapdragon, processors speed etc and we are less than 10% of phone buyers.

Another thing to note, Samsung has better resale value than Xiaomi.

Expandable storage and a lot of LTE bands would have made that phone a no brainer!!

But Samsung omitted IR blaster. That little thing is what is still gluing me to Xiaomi devices. I can't imagine my phone not able to remotely control my different gadgets at home and office

If Samsung can do ir blaster, then I will switch over to Samsung completely and hold an elaborate retirement service for all Xiaomi devices I ever used and salute them all for their great service combined together for more than 3 years.

Please I need a suggestion on the cheapest phone one can get that has glo 4g band.

I don't care if it has camera or not, or even 20mb RAM or even black and white instead of colored screen. I only need it to have Hotspot and most basic phone functions
I just need something I can use as a second phone and can still do what a mifi can do, with glo 4g. I don't even mind if the phone is second or third hand.

Please recommend any such phone for me. Thanks in advance

Not just name bro, quality display plus other small things that matters. Samsung is not crowned King of Smartphones for nothing. Samoled cannot be explained, you got to see it yourself. Like the other guy said, compare it side by side with other IPS display to appreciate the difference.

Honestly speaking. AMOLED +IR BLASTER is a winner combo for me personally. I love Samsung AMOLED display and I don't think I can use a phone without universal remote control. I hope next year Samsung considers IR blaster in their budget phones.

Toshiba could have been stronger than what it currently is. USA attacked them the way they are attacking Huawei now. They are forced to cooperate with USA now. I don't fully support USA imperialism, but their power and influence cannot be denied.

The biggest effect for now is that the US has the power to even influence some other countries loyal to them.

They can develop any OS they like but what good is any OS outside China without Google, YouTube, Gmail, Facebook, WhatsApp, SD card support etc etc. Nobody in the world outside China would buy it. That's the power that US has globally. The earlier China/Huawei come to terms with them, the better for them.

Huawei will surely suffer unless US stops the onslaught. People had already stopped buying Huawei products and their sales are dwindling as I speak.
