cprex:
It does not seem right to celebrate a girl who killed a 35year old young man.
while it is heinous to force a little girl into marriage, it is a despicable act to take the life of a man whose just because he married to you.

knowing what our world have become, I doubt if the girl is a virgin, if she is not, then those celebrating this are simply establishing a new rule 'kill him if he marries you but celebrate him if he makes love to you extra-maritally'

while we agree that murder charge should be dropped, it doesn't seem appropriate to let her go scot-free.
"just because he married you"

While I don't say killing the man is right, the funny phrase u used here is quite laughable.
She killed him because the man keeps pummelling her every night; to her young immature body and mind, it was nothing but toture.

Your rants about the girl not being a virgin makes no sense.

These are countries who take governance, legislation, following protocol: proper laid down procedures to the letter. they frown on impunity and disregard for the rule of law.

the case involved two countries: Nigeria and Norway. What has taken in Nigeria over here since the revelation of the act. Nothing. Absolutely not. I swear, we will never be able to finish thanking God for helping us kick Jonathan out saddle of leadership of Nigeria. Another four years of Jonathan would have been disastrous.

Thank you God. thank you Jesus.

This reality will come to pass when the new Administration comes in and exposes all the embezzlement, treasury looting and corruption that has been going on under the Jonathan Administration.
PoliticsRe: TAN Leader, Ifeanyi Ubah, Weeps Over Jonathan's Loss by lanrefront1(m): 6:47am On May 01, 2015
I hope Ifeayi Ubah gets what's coming to him.

PDP should stop decieving itself by calling Jonathan an hero.Hero my foot. They did all that was in their power to rigg the elections so they should just give the sycophancy a rest.

Anyway, we are so thankful to God for saving from the killer party's vicous grip.

Whatever sympathy that people have for GEJ or PDP will vanish after the new administration comes in unearth all the scams and embezzlement going on. People will be shocked to their bone marrows.
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Questions Buhari's Election Victory by lanrefront1(m): 6:40am On May 01, 2015
These PDP people together with Jonathan must think people are fools. You that did your best to rigg Buhari out of his electoral victory, but the Card Reader limited the amount of rigging that could be done; they now gather themselves together telling themselves lies.

Jonathan must think people are fools. He is not loved. Those that worked for him did so because of money. IF they didn't get money, they wouldn't even move one feet from their position.

People worked for the general and even spent their own resources.

Jonathan should just go and sit down.

He had to concede victory because he lost the elections despite all his desperations to bribe and rigg himself into victory.

Christianity EtcRe: Maharaj Ji Advises Buhari On How To Run His Government by lanrefront1(m): 7:15pm On Apr 18, 2015
The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Sat
Guru Maharaji Ji, has advised the All
Progressives Congress, APC, and its
presidential candidate, General Muhammadu
Buhari (rtd), to forget Nigeria’s presidency.
“There is no vacancy for Buhari at Aso
Rock,” he declared in a statement on
Sunday.

According to him, “President Goodluck Ebele
Jonathan is the verifiable divine choice of
the forthcoming presidential election. As the
Living Perfect Master of creation in whose
hands the fate of Nigerian project lies
spiritually, I declare divinity’s decision to
return Jonathan to Aso Rock over
Muhammadu Buhari.

“I had publicly and sufficiently advised
Buhari against nursing the ambition to rule
Nigeria again. Superior forces are actually in-
charge of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I
am at the helm of these great and unseen
primordial powers of creation.

“My commitment to ensuring that Buhari
and his fellow Anglo-American proxies do
not deflect Nigeria off its path of gradual
transition to authentic sovereignty,
sustainable unity and real prosperity is
sacrosanct. Nigeria is no longer to be ruled
by feudal agents of Western neo-colonial
power and Arab imperialists,” Guru added.

The spiritual leader called on all lovers of
freedom, fairness and human dignity in
Nigeria to vote for President Jonathan,
saying, “He is an authentic component of
Nigeria’s divinely graphed transition to
greatness. His return to Aso Rock will
further secure Nigeria from being re-
enslaved by those who insist they were born
to rule.”

Anytime I see Emir lamido Sanusi in the Royal Robe, all I can think of is a talented brain that has gone to waste. embarassed

He's an intelligent and very eloquent man. Heck! This man once called the shots at First Bank and CBN as well as many other firms.

Now, all he does is sit and expect people to pay homage to him at his palace. embarassed lipsrsealed
All his traditional roles must be very boring and not intellectually challenging. From high profile board meetings and formulating economic policies to this. . . . How does he cope undecided

Sad!
You are so right. So correct in fact. I'm sure if it was possible for Sanusi to wait till he way maybe 70 years old before ascending the throne, he would have done just that. But if he desired the throne, he had to become sieze the opportunity and become the Emir right after the demise of the former Emir. It's not the sort of position people can wait for you to be done with all earthly conquest before you now come and aswer their call.

Plzzz, SHUT it.

I don't have then time to debate with half-witted minions K?? You had previously claimed the President could not have removed Jega if he really wanted to cos of the 2/3 thing. When you were reminded that that was the same thing you chaps said for Sanusi until he was removed, you remember the word 'sensitivity'.

Idiiots!!
I think you the one that needs to shut it. You guys first started by saying Jonathan has the power to sack Jega . People had to point out that it's a lie, that he does not according to the constitution of Nigeria.

And I repeat it, the situation of the elections is different from the that of who occupies the position of governor at CBN. You cannot compare the seriousness of the two at all; only an ignoraramus or mischeavous person will.

Don't kid yourself. Jonathan wanted to remove Jega. PDP desperately wanted it. Many sponsored groups were even clamoring for it. But in the end, Jonathan realized he will be biting more than he can chew. When the "gbege" happens, all his advisers will remain anonymous while the world will hold him responsible. He knows this. Many world had passed warnings to him. Some even called him.

And in case, it seems you're celebrating impunity, lawlessness and disregard for the rule of law by saying:

" You had previously claimed the President could not have removed Jega if he really wanted to cos of the 2/3 thing. When you were reminded that that was the same thing you chaps said for Sanusi until he was removed"

Guys like you are the enemies of Nigeria. But not to worry, we already know that this traits are the hallmarks of GEJ's administration. While GEJ took corruption and embezzlement of public funds to unprecedented heights, he went further by starting the process for the institutionalization of impunity, lawlessness and disregard for the rule of law in the polity of Nigeria.

With all these, we can only get on our knees again and thank God again and again, that we will be seeing the end if this conscienceless and soulless Administration on May 29.

Thank the Lord indeed. Lord we will never be able to repay this kindness that you've shown Nigeria at this point of our history.

Anybody that believes this concoctious stringing together of words by SR is welcomed to do so. But, NONE of you
There was no way Jonathan could have tried the illegality he did with Sanusi with Jega. The matter involved in Jega's case is is a sensitive matter that cannot be toyed. He did make attempt and was advised to do so, so it wasn't as he didn't want too. But if he tried it, the country will boil. And whatever happens in the aftermath, ICC will hold him responsible and be looking for a way to arrest him as long as he lives.

It is either you choose to be ignorant or you are misinformed.
Is the head of inec a public servant? - yes
Is he governed by the civil service code? - yes
Who hired him ? - Mr. President.
Can he fire him legally? - yes
Was there a precedence ? - yes. Who? - CBN Governor.
How was last inec boss (Iwu) removed?(without 2/3 of senate) - Was asked to proceed on terminal leave by Gej.
Sahara reporters is angry that Gej graced more headlines in defeat than even the winner.
My point is GEJ had every power & opportunity to rig the elections but choose not to because he promised Nigerians credible elections.
The constitution says the President can only fire the head of INEC if it approved by 2/3 of the National Assembly. That's the only legal way he can do it. Any other way is illegal and a breach of the Nigerian constitution.

And GEJ did use everything he could to rigg the elections. The rigging was only possible in the the SS and SE. They tried all they could, but the lead if Buhari was to wide to cover unless the would exceed the number of accredited voters from those regions.

luvinhubby:
If you know our constitution and powers of the president, you will not be saying this.
Jega is a public servant operating under the civil service code to do the work of elections arbiter. The president hired him & can fire him by our laws. He can also ask him to proceed on terminal leave 3 months to his terminal date of June 24th and nothing will happen.
The international community can only do two things, commend or condemn his acts but cannot reverse it.

The man said ' I will give Nigerians a credible electoral process' & he did that in his 5yrs in office.
Please stop misinforming people with your misxheavousness; or maybe it's ignorance but I doubt it. The head of INEC its not just and ordinary public servant. According to the constitution, INEC boss can only be sacked by a 2/3 majority of the National Assembly.

And no, the President does not have the power to tell Jega to proceed on terminal leave. It's up to Jega to decide if he wants to or not.

At the time Buhari said so, he said so in the context of how the army was waging the war against Boko Haram. The army was not making distinction between Boko Haram and the defenseless civilians. There were continually being killed. That was Buhari's reason for the then statement.

I believe he should have communicated his thoughts more effectively in way his intent wouldn't have been misconstrued .

The consitution must be remain supreme no matter whose ox is gored.

If Fayose has to go for it to be so, so be it. It's part of the process for the deepening of our democracy. It will teach other upcoming governors not to breach our constitution as if it has no consequences.
