Seriously, the analytical prowess of the current Nigerian youth is at an abysmal low. If Aljezzera analyst says the escalation of crisis in the North is to reduce the voting power of the region, the resultant reduction of voting power is not a function of the numbers of thousands of people that are killed; it is the fact that hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, of resident citizens are being displaced; they have no house address anymore neither do they have permanent place of residence. So tell, how will would hundred of thousands or possibly millions of these people vote? Is it a displaced person they have no residence that will have polling booth to vote? Then there is the issue of paralysing fear that has already being instilled in the minds of the people. These people have witnesses horrifying terror firsthand. Many people will be afraid of going to polling booths because they will be thinking, definitely, this terrorists will see this as an opportunity to strike. So it is very true, the ongoing crisis, if continues till next year will definitely decimate the voting power of the North. |
emmysoftyou:I don't need ask my mum and dad. I was old enough at the time... ......Idiagbon controlling Buhari is another fiction of people's imagination. The fact was Buhari and Idigabon were of like minds and there was perfect synergy between them. Idiagbon was more heard of because he had the unflinchingly support and trust of his boss. Saying Buhari was under the control of Idiagbon really is very silly. |
emmysoftyou:Anyone that thinks he can control the Genera needs to have his head examined. I'm sure Tinubu entertains no such dreams because he knows who Buhari is. Buhari has been on the National Scene when Tinubu was still in primary school. |
I didn't believe the news before, but with thee press release, now I do. Are these the youths people are saying should come and take over. Sycophancy have already reached the universities. If GEJ gets a second term, before end of his four years, sycophancy would have reached the Primary and nursery school. |

this oyinbo don dey kolo small small...... na who dey fund this research sef....,. |
Your pics doesn't prove anything. It does not prove that what they said took place didn't take place. I think we should rather hear from OAU students, because I'm pretty sure you were not on ground. |
........and the impunity and disregard for court orders, rulings and the rule of law continues....... .....imagine we will see when GEJ gets his second term..... ....... hmmmn, before warned is before armed... |

people please ignore this not nonsensical thread; do not diginify it with a response. |
A thread of insufferable fo.ols.... ......did any of you even bother to find out the ownership of the jet.......also some people are fighting so that Buhari gets APC WILL nomination even than Buhari himself......it was these people that prevailed upon Tambuwal to withdraw from the Presidential race......so you think a presidential aspirant like Buhari cannot have people that will charter plane for him.... ......you people.. your desperation has made you to loose all sense of proper reasoning and logic.. |
seriously, Mr. Attorney in law has to explain himself. Nothing in the report by DSS mentioned fingerprinting at all. So how was this man able to access information that DSS who are on ground were unable to know? Or sir, are you merely speculating? |

OLADD:Bros, the name you're attributing to someone better fits you. What does APC Membership Register has to do with INEC Voters Register. Membership Register is not for voting. Its for internal party administration. So if a patty decides to register one member 100 times, they are only messing themselves because the adverse effects of inaccurate data will be on the Patty and no one else. So what is the concern of DSS with that. That data is private information of APC. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ELECTIONS. IS THAT SO DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO GRASP? |
OLADD:The DSS said they watches the Center for 2 weeks, so therefore they know it was APC data center. And like I said, organisations don't go all out publicising the location of their data center to the world. You can be sure that in that area, there are several people that will know there is an APC data center there. Buts it not an information they want to advertise. Data centers a lot of times contain sensitive and vital information, that if destroyed may bring down their organisation. Data centers don't have any interaction with the public. The data area not collected at the center. The center is meant for processing data into a computerised useful data base. |
OLADD:Exactly yes, it's a mere Membership Register and has nothing to do with 2015 elections, because its INEC Voters Register that is used for elections. And law courts don't give a damn about a membership register of any party, because as a party, you may put what you like there. So if the membership strength of your party is 2 million and you put 20 million, that is your private problem. noon e cares. |
OLADD:Data centers by their nature are supposed to be as private as possible. They don't have any business with the public. Why would any organisation want everyone in Lagos to know that the whole data of it's organisation is in particular spot. It's different from party secretariats and offices which are meant for interaction with the public. |
OLADD:Bros. stop embarrassing yourself. No one, whether INEC or the law courts gives a damn whatever information any Political Party's Membership holds. It is a private affair of the party. its the INEC Voters register that the public and constituted authorities have business with. After all most of do not have our names registered as of members of any polical party yet we can vote. Why? Because our names are registered with INEC. INEC register does not indicate anuthink like which political party a voter belongs to. |

donpeey22:Please what the hell are you talking about? Criminal case of Voters Registration? When the the internal membership registration of APC becomes Voter's Registration? The membership registration data of APC is an internal party affair. Has nothing to do with INEC voters register. I beg, go and get informed joor. |
Zuria:Please stop with the "distortion of truth". What Amaechi said was that IF the 2015 election is rigged, APC will not go to court but will resort to self-help. Anyway, it was Fani Kayode and Doyin Okupe that first made this deliberate distortion, and every other PDP supporter then started carrying it. Fani Kayode Okupe or even you are free to criticise Amaechi for what he said, but start by saying exactly what he said, not by twisting and distorting it so as to favour your own argument. |

Also, I'm waiting for his editorial concerning the fiasco taking place at the Ekiti House of Assembly. Or is the issue minuscule it has escaped notice? |
And this says he practises journalism. His bias is so severe and obvious. With all his learning and knowledge, he has nothing to o say about the illegal siege of the Police Force on the National Assembly. Another Abati in the making..... complete disgrace... |

happy week to you guys |
Please, soembodu please help me answer this question: I know I'm not an Harvard graduate like Iweala neither I've I worked in the world Bank. They say they want to cut subsidy into half because of sharp falling in crude oil prices. The fact that crude oil has fallen, does that not automatically reduces the amount of subsidy necessary. Or was not the high price of crude a major cause for the high cost of subsidy. |
very funny....not even worth replying. |
I did write something...... then evidence of the corruption and impunity of GEJ Administration is there for everyone to see as it stinks to the high heavens. you're just looking for who to take on one of you guys needless argument, in which no matter how what is said, you keep on twisting things.... .....for example, why do you need evidence that this administration is corrupt if you're not an hypocrite |
I swear, I don't understand what all this obsession about Buhari is. You guys have already said he's a failure, that if APC fields him, it will only make it easy FOR GEJ to walk all over APC. You guys that are rooting for GEJ, shouldn't this be good news to you? Why are you trying to advise APC to choose a better candidate who will make the task of winning the election more difficult for GEJ? That is why I don't understand your obsession in trying to help APC get a better candidate? Or is GEJ not you people's man again? That is why you pro Jonathan guys don't make sense to me. |
