How about once in a while outing? Dude, cos you're married doesn't mean you stop hanging out. Difference is, you now go out with your wife most times.

Ok, how about shopping. She (or you) needs some new stuff, you surely have to go shopping once in a while. It ain't compulsory but it surely gives the marriage some kind of juice.

I am married (though not too long ago) but I spend a minimum of N60,000 monthly for BASIC needs.....no matter how I try to cut cost...which I am GOOD at.

- 20k monthly for some bills (fuel for gen, PHCN, gotv, security, etc)

- 25k for feeding

- 20k for miscellaneous. In-laws might visit. Siblings will para you for phone subscriptions, you'll buy wine and drink for visitors (or for yourself). How about replacing that bulb? Blown phone charger? Damaged pumping machine? Or even......name it.

House rent not inclusive, car not inclusive, parents care not inclusive, building project not inclusive, school fees not inclusive, pregnancy antenatal not inclusive,....

Most marriages crash not because there is no love, its because there is no MONEY!!

So, before proposing to that pretty damsel, go get a decent cash flow. At least a minimum of N70k monthly can be managed to keep your marriage happy.
