This lady was my ex. Like I've dated 5 girls after her including my current girlfriend. I love my current girlfriend but my ex keeps calling me on phone and sending me texts.

You are a guy and thinking of getting married without a decent cash flow, well, don't!

Marriage is something that once you get in, you can't get out for life, so why the hurry? You surely don't want to give birth to frustrated kids.

Getting married based on love is cool but not great! She loves you so much? Wait till you get married and there is no money for things as little as stew or once in a while eat out.

Like it or not, aside love, money keeps a marriage strong. When your wife is happy, you are happy, and your marriage is happy....trust me.

Example.

Your in-laws come visiting and you don't have at least N5k to give them for transport back home.

Your wife's phone is damaged. Do you allow her get a new one by herself? Even if she's working.

How about once in a while outing? Dude, cos you're married doesn't mean you stop hanging out. Difference is, you now go out with your wife most times.

Ok, how about shopping. She (or you) needs some new stuff, you surely have to go shopping once in a while. It ain't compulsory but it surely gives the marriage some kind of juice.

I am married (though not too long ago) but I spend a minimum of N60,000 monthly for BASIC needs.....no matter how I try to cut cost...which I am GOOD at.

- 20k monthly for some bills (fuel for gen, PHCN, gotv, security, etc)

- 25k for feeding

- 20k for miscellaneous. In-laws might visit. Siblings will para you for phone subscriptions, you'll buy wine and drink for visitors (or for yourself). How about replacing that bulb? Blown phone charger? Damaged pumping machine? Or even......name it.

House rent not inclusive, car not inclusive, parents care not inclusive, building project not inclusive, school fees not inclusive, pregnancy antenatal not inclusive,....

Most marriages crash not because there is no love, its because there is no MONEY!!

So, before proposing to that pretty damsel, go get a decent cash flow. At least a minimum of N70k monthly can be managed to keep your marriage happy.
