FUTA folks will know how EEE(elect/elect) is competitive there.... I was told lot of things abt that dept that dey dont admit much, that they mostly admit their predegree students..... and all sorts

But I was determined and focused to get that course....and Fortunately my name came out on d merit list

But i had to work hard forrit ni, lots of sleepless nights

she has the right subject combination, she also scored Jamb(289) post utme(68%),She is from Ondo state, which is one of the catchment area for FUTA, and some one with lower Jamb (263)and post UTME result(64%) from Ogun state was offer admission to the same course, that is why am still very confused, and seeking to know if there are any other criteria that is not explicitly defined.

well, it depends on the course.....for some courses like EEE, ARCH, CVE, they require aggregate >71 to be on merit list.....since u said she has d right subject combination, she should put her self together and look forward to seeing her name on subsequent lists


one more thing try and contact the university admission unit....they may give a better reason

and who told u no malpractice in post utme....just know a candidate may score 40 and with long leg he can augment it to 80

The lagos state university management should bury their heads in shame for refusing to conduct post UTME for candidates seeking admission to their school this year. Instead,the school had decided to use WAEC results obtained through malpractice to screen the candidates in.What a shame on them

the fact you didn't have good Waec results, doesn't mean the. outstanding. ones are by malpractice....if u think u can do Berra in post utme why didn't u do that in your Waec smh....

moreover, just know post utme is more corrupt.....long leg tinz

so why did unilag make it compulsory for any engineering course?

There are have being talks making rounds in many aspirants group that futa doesn't take further mathematics as a olevel subject combination.....how true is it?....in their brochure they stated any other science subject as 5th subject....

unilag doesn't admit students into the engineering faculty without fmaths......I will advice he changes his course or institution.....although he has a good jamb score but the olevel no strong

The best thing to do is to download each university's brochure and study it.....cuz the info pple spread now is not trustworthy

Futa does not offer chemical engineering

I suggest u write another Waec....but apparently that's too late.....

exactly bro...most of the people commenting have no idea how this cbt works. They just blame jamb unnecessarily. I am an examiner n d issues experienced in my centre were mostly cause d people were not prepared for d exams
