Try removing duplicates... select the column and go to the Data tab. Click on remove duplicates. It will give you unique values

Working on covid 19 cases in the US,but the data are repeated like 1/02/2020(5 cases),1/03/2020(5 cases),since there is no new case...this has made the total case so high! Random walks is basically a random simulation of random variables to produce an output randomly. From my example, the nsteps is the number of times the walk is simulated, that is 1000 times, which means its gonna produce 1000 outputs(walks).
The draws is what I want to output in 1000 times. From my example, the random.randnint(0,2, size=nsteps) means pick a number between 0 & 2, 1000 times.
The 'steps' variable is the where the draws happen, the draws produces 2 outputs, 0 & 1, 1000 times.
np.where(condition, True, False) means if the draw produces 1 (draws >0), return 1, else -1.
This is stored in the 'walks' variable which is a cumulative sum of all the steps in the draws. \

The first pic is the cumulative sum of the first 100 draws while the second pic is a graph of the first 100 draws.

Looking at the first pic, notice how they either increase or decrease by 1 or -1 respectively.
so basically, the whole thing picks 1 or -1 simultaneously and the size is the number of steps, that means, pick 1 or -1 randomly 1000 times. The output could be anything but this is a basic example.[/quote]

You go to the file location in your jupyter file list and click on new to open a new notebook or you can take note of the file path.
then enter
import csv
your_file = csv.reader(open("your_file.csv" ) )
then if you want to convert it to a list
List_your_file = list(your_file)

I have been learning python for the past 3 weeks now on Datacamp and YouTube. I also use anaconda with jupyter notebook. I just finished with numpy and I am on matplotlib. I already learned excel from beginner to advance level. I hope I am on the right track and then how can i get enough data to practise. I only use the exercises from Datacamp.
