The grace that President Goodluck Jonathan carries is in unquantifiable proportion. All these men ganged-up against him to embarrass and remove him from power. They now wash their dirty linen in public for a literally failed Party. Indeed through Goodluck Jonathan I know God is a patient God. |
This was the exact issue that happened. Babafemi Ojudu a close associate to Prof. Osinbajo on same Edmud Obilo podcast buttressed the same point that Buhari was neutral in his support for Osinbajo and didn't show favour. Trump's election will send a new wave of morality led government to the world. Let's watch and see. Arostar2023: |
Yea, I know you are looking for trouble. . You see the infiltration of forums like Nairaland with paid and sponsored BOTs like your dumb self is just so appalling and pitiful. You have the temerity with your Wicklow end leporous finger to confidently type gibberish by 8.00am meaning you live a miserable life. For notes Prof. Yemi Osinbajo call him names if you like, but posterity will be fair to him than a President who in the last 18 months has shown crass embarrassment to people of Yourba extraction. That trouble you are looking for I am prophetic you will get. Torzo ! Looking4Trouble: |
Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was overwhelmingly rooted for and persuaded by the generality of Nigerians to contest. The economy was stable and he was even bold enough to intervene in National Assembly invasion by the DSS. Various interest groups and youth Groups literally " begged" Osinbajo to contest the primaries. Osinbajo would have been a better President simple. |
Your submission is very apt and sensible. From the new self- recruited "attack dogs" of PBAT - Reno Omokori, Daniel Bwala & Shehu Sani, none of these characters have any face value politically to the Presidency. El-rufai may end up being PBATs biggest nemesis for 2027. Quote me. The number 1 trending issue in the north is El-rufai and swift alliances are happening as we speak. PBAT should know that all his Ministers and northern associates are paperweight politicians in the core north. Kwankwaso, Atiku & El-rufai are super heavy weights in the North and the latter will leave him in the cold when the tables turn. I laugh in Swahili....😅 IfnobeGod20: |
EFCC should re-conduct that open-bid and not play on the intelligence of smart Nigerians. Same system glitch was the excuse INEC complained during the 2023 General Elections that has damaged it's credibility till date. Why are we so corrupt in Nigeria, just why ? Even EFCC too ? It's a shame ! |
Babafemi Ojudu the former Special Adviser to Pres. Buhari on Political Affairs in the preview of his book "Guerilla Journalist" stated clearly stated that Pres. Buhari at a point didn't want PBAT to succeed him, he stated that Tinubu " outsmarted" Pres. Buhari. Mallam Nasiru El-rufai remains one of the most influential power brokers in the core north of Nigeria. Amongst the young Muslim northerners they see him more as a Legend than an everyday politician. Nasiru El-rufai, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Atiku Abubakar have more social capital than PBAT in the north and unfortunately are on the other side. El-rufai singlehandedly chaired the campaign of Southern presidency which Tinubu enjoys today and was the first to publicly affront Godwin Emefiele on the naira re-design policy whilst also confronting Buhari on need for the rotation for a Southern Presidency. Reno Omokori & Daniel Bwala on the other hand as opposition were some of the most vocal voices against the Tinubu presidency with Reno touting PBAT a known drug lord and Bwala calling him a non-entity. This two (2) characters now have the temerity and guts to affront an El-rufai who literally was part of the grand schemers for the Tinubu Presidency. Let it be clear that PBAT cannot win the 2027 Presidency with the combination of El-rufai, Kwankwaso and Atiku as opposition. It's a simple as that ! |

PBAT's spokespersons should be civil and circumspect in their utterances. Imagine Daniel Bwala the famous " Judas Iscariot" calling El-rufai who stook his neck out even against his Principal Buhari for PBAT and Bwala has the temerity to call him a coupist. President Tinubu and his APC cohorts democratically unseated former President Goodluck Jonathan through it's Occupy Nigeria protest and the negative media backlash of his regime. Criticism is a democratic and should be accepted as such. Karma is a bit*h. |
Fubara ......Rugged. |
I am very sure Baba was intoxicated on something when this interview was done. Look closely at his countenance. |
The topic of this post is very mischievous. The interview was one of the most intelligent, composed and eloquent interviews of a supposedly " non-entity" Chief priest. In less than 14 hours the traffic on the Youtube page of ChannelsTV rubbing minds has generated more than 118,000 views already which is rare and impressive. Cubana Chiefpriest from that interview with Ebuka navigated all the questions with so much composure and eloquence. For BurnaBoy to the extra mile of using as much as $30k to spite Chief priest it's obvious Burna is shallow minded. Good interview Money Man. Kudos to Chief Priest, keep doing your thing. |
Sapele, By 2026 you will look for my number and call me. You think politics is not deeper than social media. Let's wait and see. sapele914: |
I have this strong convincing feeling that Peter Gregory Obi will emerge as the next president of Nigeria. It's obvious that there is a calculated, planned and deliberate attempt to smear or reduce the influence of Peter Obi. It's even more obvious as other co-contestants seem to be insignificant compared to the selective execution of Peter Obi. If an independent poll both virtual and physical is conducted today on PBAT's rating, he will struggle with 30%. A whole adult with grey hair has been assigned to decimate the innocent Obi -( Reno Omokori ) 2027 will be the most interesting year so far |
There is money, and there is Anambra Money. Reno Omokori the tounge tied divisionist will write four (4) pages of epistle for this award. Trust me! That man deserves deportation and whooping. Cheers to our Anambra brothers and sisters striving in their legitimate exploits. |
Do you know what I just did, rather than respond to your pessimistic, vague, childish and myopic probing question I went through your posts today alone. I will spare you as you have been " engaged" already by your people. Ekiti Cargo Airport has come to stay and you will be witness to it's gradual growth and economic benefits. lexy2014: |
Please note that my response to your earlier quote was courteous, detailed and polite. Even in an open forum like Nairaland it's ideal to be civil. If Afe Babalola had his way, that Airport strip would be within his University campus. However, for approvals and the benefits of the generality of the state they chose to collaborate for the benefit of people. The Airport would be active as you will see in the coming months. People come for all over Africa and Nigeria for Medical and Academic needs in ABUAD and Ekiti generally. The equipments in both facilities are state of art and internationally benchmarked. lexy2014: |
The Ekiti Agro-Allied Airport, Ekiti State is not a project initiated by impulse, there was a detailed and strategic justification for situating the Airport in Ekiti State and also along the Ado- Ijan Road. 1, The Airport was the approved by N.A.M.A & FAAN initiated by Kayode Fayemi (Ph.D) & influenced by Aare Afe Babalola. 2, The Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) currently processes, packages and export cash crops such as Moringa, specied mangoes, pepper, smoked catfish and mushrooms. ABUAD farms is one of the most active export zones in the Axis. Afe currently exports this items, however the cargo airport will encourage backward integration between ABUAD and small holder farmers in Ekiti, Kogi and Ondo State. 3, Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital & ABUAD is one of the largest employers in Nigeria and also a tourist destinations Ekiti State as Inter- State Air- travel for HNIs had been demanded since the inception of the world class university & hospital. 4, The Airport became the contentious issue between Afe Babalola and John Kayode Fayemi (Ph.D) before the new Gov. BAO influenced the completion. 5, The Airport will thrive as there is an existing export market for ABUAD processed produce in Europe. 6, I have close ties with Government in Ekiti as such the facts are what is listed in the 1-6 summary. Congratulations BAO, Congratulations to JKF, Congratulations to Afe Babalola and Congratulations to Ekiti State. lexy2014: |
You are wise and just gave a reasonable summary. Except you had mid- life crises, An average first- mover nairalander should be above that income frequency or profit after tax monthly. One (1) million naira monthly is an average Managerial cadre income as such not a big deal. dom: |
Don't ever assume please. And you are very wrong. I am aware of the Banking pay structure review as at Mid-last year 2024 as a result of most Bankers relocating to the US, UK, EU zone, Australia and Canada. An average Banker in a Tier 1 & Tier 2 Bank Mid level (Banking Officer - Senior Manager) earns above N1m monthly. Most FINTECHs pay above N1m monthly mid level and above. Depending on the role and sector N1m monthly for a Large Corporate like NBplc, Guiness, Opay, Moniepoint, etc is very common. Most Nigerians that earn such will not go out and announce such. For the question asked by the OP, invest in real estate along the Epe, Ibeju corridor on installment. Bookhub: |
Totally understand your plight. Try incorporating Avocado Pear in your daily meal that's all. Its one of the only fruit (s) in the world that produces healthy fats without a side effect. Just take one every other day. Although it's a seasonal fruit. You will thank me later as you journey through your healthy weight gain journey. |
If you read the details of how the DSS arrested ISWAP & Boko Haram members disguised as wrist watch sellers and wrist watch repairers in Ilesha Osun State, you will suspect this man Buhari. This should have been one of the most detailed DSS covert operation in decades as it took more than 2 months to identify specific targets in Ilesha, Osun State as reported by Punch Newspapers. None of such arrest was done under President Buhari's regime and those done were rumored to have been released when they got to Abuja. Buhari was an absent leader and wasn't fully an intelligent leader. Nigeria paid dearly for his lack of Administrative mastery. |
Thunder will strike her. My mother is my oxygen & nothing comes close. What sort of demonic inspired question is that ? |
Prof. Ishaq Oloyede was once touted as one of the most incorruptible public servants in Nigeria. From his stint at the University of Ilorin as the Vice Chancellor and at JAMB. He was reported to have brought sanity to JAMB and given the body a positive reputation. What happened to Prof. ? This budget for JAMB is obviously over-inflated except with a very logical justification. Hope it is not true. As he was been recommended to PBAT by some observers to be the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management after Betta Edu was removed. |
You are sharp and observant. The Nigerian Military aggregates a lot of power to the GOCs ewedunamala: |
Reno should thread carefully. I mean really carefully, He is fighting a cause that is far above his size and weight category. His consistent attack and affront on Peter Obi and his obedient movement will back fire on the long run. There are certain things money cannot buy and repair. If Emefiele was spoken to by his family members early he would not have been subjected to this embarrassment and name shaming he is facing. A head count of Obidients are more than 6m people and one individual like Reno may be too insignificant as such termed as him risking his career and freedom when the tables turn. |
Someone said Ganduje has a " turkey throat " and I disagree He has a expanded jaw rather. Baba is a shameless man. Gandollar. |
1, The devaluation of the Naira was the major reason Dec. 2024 festivities remains the most impactful in the recent history of Nigerian tourism. 2, Asides from the major currencies like the $ ,€, ¥,£. Smaller African countries even in the CFA zone have their currencies almost double the value of the naira (1,000 CFA = N2,250) 3, CNN Africa reported in it's " Detty December" report that for the first time, the whole Africa stood still for Nigeria with an estimated 500,000 new visitors to Nigeria through Air & land alone. 4, The Big three (3) entertainment exports; Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido added flavour to the season all with them buying brand new exotic cars triggering a frenzy of wealth, class and hope. 5, International stars like Kamaru Usman, Francis Nganonu, Anthony Joshua etc gave a good show as they spiced up the "Detty Dec". Nigeria and Lagos State has finally become a tourist destination through the Naira devaluation. 6, Lagos State has become more attractive for tourist basically because of its low crime rate and relative peace. The Lagos State Security Trust Fund is unmatched in Nigeria with Air, Sea and Land components including helicopters, attack speed boats and patrol vehicles. 7, The Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo Olu in his interview on TVC has promised that a more deliberate economy would be built around December festivities and it's value chain. Other Nigerian states can cash in the frenzy for 2025 Dec. Congratulations to Babajide Sanwo Olu, Congratulations to Nigerian Tourism. |
Prof. Mahmood Yakubu should be ashamed of himself. Its important to note that a large percentage of the comments on the new media when his rumored death was announced should give him feedback on the average person's impression about him even when the rumour was dispelled. There should be a strong push by civil society to ensure electoral reforms and Prof. Mahmood should be the first to be replaced. The INEC suffers a great trust deficit amongst citizens. |
Your quote is for Ekiti State and unfortunately the statistics has changed. Oyo Town, In Oyo State have a history of boldness and gallantry and are not scared of war. This is the Alaafin of Oyo Empire. Kabiyesi Ikubabayeye. Strong title in Yoruba land indeed. MadamVanessa: |
The PBAT led administration suffers the greatest trust deficit in the recorded history of Nigeria amongst it's citizens and it continues to prove Nigerians instincts right. The Federal Government through it's PMS subsidy removal reforms put Nigerians in the worst cost of living crisis in an entire generation, and deemed it polite to discuss the proceeds in-closed-doors. As an ardent student of geopolitics & history, only the Ibrahim Babangida led administration comes close to suffering a trust issue amongst Nigerians. IBB suffered this fate as a result of his several postponement of his civilian transition programme. If the Government of the day were in opposition, would they allow this slide without asking question or suspicions raised ? |
