LagosNIV: It is, of course, up to you whether you want to use the services of an agent or not. We always recommend against it, but it is up to you. If you do choose to use an agent, I would recommend against applying for a particular program that you don't intend to study just because an agent recommends it. We aren't judging cases based on decisions we would have made ourselves. We are trying to decide if you are a bona fide student. It will be much easier for you to convince the VO that you are a bona fide student interested in studying early childhood education than to convince the VO you are interested in studying business, because you are actually interested in studying early childhood education. I am much more interested in why a person chose the course of study they did than which course of study they chose. I'm so grateful for your contributions, buh I have one more QST pls, can I find an employer to sponsor me after my graduate program with this course of study. If not what other educational/art related course can I study that can get me an employer or company to sponsor me |

Sagewood: For those of you aspiring to study here in the USA, remember to plan accordingly. I would recommend that you pursue a program in Healthcare/ medical sciences, such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Dentistry, Medical Assistant program, Dental Hygiene, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics and Radiological sciences/ Tech. These areas currently enjoy high favorability in employment, and will continue for the next 10 years according to the US Dept. of Labor. This is because of the aging population, and especially the baby-boomers. No point in studying some worthless courses and you can't even find an employer to sponsor you. Even if you marry an American and get your papers, finding a job may still be a problem. This is my 2 cents contribution as a Nigerian American Doctor in the USA. I studied English Education and I'd like to go for my masters in early childhood and special education. So the QST is can I find an employer to sponsor me with this course of study. If not what other educational/art related course can I study that can get me an employer or company to sponsor me. |

DeeTus: Damn!!! After discovering this site, you still went ahead to ask if you could do it yourself? This is really funny, no wonder these guys milk you guys always.
The obvious truth here is you can do it yourself. I also doubt if the guy really studied in the US. For sure, agents do come here to source for information and make it look as if it is theirs.
950K is enough for you and you will have a good balance to do other things after you might have procured your visa.
Shine your light to help others in darkness! What about my first degree, English Education, if m to do it myself shld I put in early childhood and special education or I shld do as the man says and put in a course that's business related. Pls enlighten me |
