Boss, for clarification please it was written on their website that one need to book an appointment before you can submit your application. Is it that they have changed the rule or what? .Thanks.

As of last year October that I submitted, I didn’t book an appointment, and I haven’t seen anyone here since then talked about booking an appointment before going, maybe someone that submitted recently can help us out...

I just turn up at the French embassy and submit my forms and accompanying papers

you are not going to France embassy o, you will submit at VFS, just do some google search for the address...when you get there you ask where to submit for France

you don’t need to book an appointment, just make sure you get there early (VFS) for submission.

i'm a lady bro.How long are you staying, where do you plan staying( this was when my hotel was confirmed because the immigration guy called the hotel and i guess he was told the reservation was cancelled), so he couldn't ask much till i was directed to another officer. He gave me a form to fill ( it comprises of the form I filled and submitted). So he asked how i was going to pay for the hotel since my reservation was cancelled, and i told him i have cash and can also use my debit card.
