Politics / Re: President Buhari Arrives Berlin, Germany (photos) by Largeabbey: 1:41am On Oct 14, 2016
If Buhari is ever going to end up addressing the Nigerian community in Berlin I would be happy if a Nairalander who lives in Germany can inform him that many Nigerians in Germany are being deprived the privilege to go visit their families in Nigeria to to one problem or the other caused by the inability of the Nigerian embassy to make changes on the Epassport. Many of us need adjustment to our passport but we have been told ita only possible in Abuja.

Health / Re: Anal Fissure, Hard Stool. Please Help by Largeabbey: 7:46pm On Jun 28, 2015
I know what it feels to be suffering from anal fissure because I have been there couple times too. But this only happen to me when I leave the shores of Nigeria for England and I'm opined that change of foods causes it.

With or without any medication I believe the anus have the ability to heal itself once you do away from strong foods like bread and yam and settle for cereals and sometimes rice for maximum 3 days. But if you are the type who loves your food so much and can't change them I would suggest you get Lactulose, yes, lactulose even though it's use to lose weight. I was given lactulose to soften my poop in England by a GP when the pain and hindrance to go to the toilet became unbearable. And I was also given an ointment called Scheriproct which I was instructed to apply on my anus twice daily. After 2 days and doing away from bread the fissure became something of the pass till date. I still have the Scheriproct ointment with me since 2k13 since my last fissure but too bad that I don't live in Nigeria anymore.

I hope that my post helps you.

Looks like I am going to have to renege on my words of not applying at the American embassy anytime soon. I am not only surprise but tight-lipped knowing it could now take couple of days to secure an appointment after being denied of a U.S visa. What user "Fehinebony" said about her husband being rejected and securing a visa after a short frame of time has left me wondering. Might be my turn who knows..........Well, before I decide to go on to make my payment for the visa fee I need to know if its advisable to persuade my wife to go with me even though I told the VO that she had just picked up a new job couple of months back. I doubt it if she will fall for my persuasion but I can be really insistent which will leave her with no option or should I just allow her work and go with my daughter of 4 she had for me before we got married? Tzetzefly and every other Guru on this thread please kindly take out your to look into my case and give me the best possible guide. I look forward to reading from you all patiently.

Did my interview today at the Lagos consulate, it was a denial again. I guess its not just yet time for me to see America. A girl I tried passing some of the knowledge I acquired on here got her visa approved even though she's single and blatantly told me that the marriage she intends going for is scheduled for Saturday which is two days from now. I was kinda surprise to see her give me a thumb up to indicate that her visa was approved even though the time frame was short and the marriage she intends going for would have been done before her passport gets sent back. I have below the questions I was asked and all the responses I gave the VO.

VO: How are you?

Me: I am good and you?

VO: Good

VO: Why do you want to go to the US?

Me: For vacation and tourism purpose.

VO: Where in the U.S do you intend going?

Me: Orlando, Florida.

VO: What do you intend doing while there?

Me: Viewing places like Universal Orlando and Disney world.

VO: Why would you be visiting without your wife and kids

Me: My wife had just picked up a new job few months ago and we both know she isn't just ripe for leave yet.

VO: Have you traveled out of Nigeria before?

Me: Yes

VO: Where precisely?

Me: To Ghana and United kingdom

VO: Asked me if I had traveled to Switzerland after seeing a valid Switzerland visa on my passport

Me: I told him no even though I had an itinerary which indicates that I will be spending few days in Switzerland enroute U.S.

VO: What do you do for a living sir?

Me: Am the C.E.O of so so so and so company.

VO: What do you do in your company?

Me: Told him.

VO: Am sorry but your visa isn't approved and he gave me the form.

I queried why he rejected me and he told me that the paper he served would explain. I believe the fact I wasn't traveling with my family served as a deterrent to my visa issuance. House, how could I have gone on a trip with my 3 months pregnant wife who had just started working at a new place 3 months ago? Its really absurd how these people take our hard earned money. I think its time we start signing petitions online to express our displeasure and the low rate of visa issuance in Nigeria.

Tzetzefly, thanks for the response but the problem is my is my wife is unavailable for the trip due to her pregnancy. I have booked my appointment and I am scheduled for the embassy this month. What measures do I need to put in place since my wife is heavily pregnant?

Arguably this is the best thread I have ever bumped into in my entire life even though I employed some of the tactics and hints I read on here and was still denied a U.S visa in 201x. How time flies cause its almost three years since I applied and I have decided to reapply again. I think I answered all the questions I was asked in 201x correctly but lost the visa when the VO knew that I was single even though its apparent on my passport that I have left the shores of Nigeria. I am big and better than I was in 201x because I have not only resigned my then job but now have a company of my own with a lovely wife and two lovely kids. I am writing on here to ask and know what my chances of securing a U.S. visa being a C.E.O who takes home close to 280k after paying my workers salary and the likely questions I should expect while in front of the VO. I have traveled out of Nigeria 5 times, Ghana once and the UK four times and also have a currently running Schengen visa. I look forward to reading from you all. Thanks a bunch.

Business / Re: Package Delivery Problems: USPS And NIPOST by Largeabbey: 7:05pm On Nov 29, 2012
There was a mistake in my previous message. The package was sent to me on november 3 not december 3. Thank you, all.
Business / Re: Package Delivery Problems: USPS And NIPOST by Largeabbey: 6:26pm On Nov 29, 2012
Assiatance needed please! My ex sent me a package through usps on december 3 and it hasn't got to me. I have been to the post office numerous times and they keep telling me the package hasn't arrived which is kinda suspicious. The comments I read on here made it known to me that any package that comes with the 'LC' tracking is in God's hand. The package I'm expecting has the 'LC' which isn't traceable. I'm really sad but I refuse to believe that the package would not be delivered to me since its not traceable. I would be glad if people can give me their insight about my situation. I'd be looking forward to insights. Thank you, all!

I understand how you feel but segregating shouldn't have been the next step. You need to know that there is a 50 percent chance of you giving birth to a child who is AS even though your partner is AS. Medically speaking partners who are both AS have a 50% chance of giving birth to AS. U can ask your doctor or do research online.

Hi Nairalanders! I Did my interview yesterday at the US embassy, Lagos. It was a denial! But am glad I wasn't as sad as I thought. Trying doesn't kill they say. Below are the questions I was asked.

VO: Why do you want to go to the US?

ME: To honor my family friend's invitation and to spend 14 days out of my leave.

VO: What do you do for a living?

ME: I am an accountant.

VO: Have you ever traveled out of Nigeria before?

ME: Yes, I have been to United Kingdom twice and to Ghana once.

VO: Are you married?

ME: No, but I have an up coming wedding in December.

VO: What does your Fiancee do?

ME: She works.

VO: What does she do for a living?

ME: She's an accountant.

VO: I am sorry your visa isnt approved.

At no point was any of my documents checked. I was a bit disappointed but I still give God the glory since I have a 2 years valid uk visa. I will apply next year to see what they have in store for me.

Thank you all for your wonderful contributions.

Hello Nairalanders! I have been following the threads on here for awhile and I must confess it has been helpeful even though I haven't applied for my US visa yet but I have an appointment scheduled for October.

I joined this forum in order to ask questions and to increase my chances of getting myself a visa come October INSHA ALLAH. Anyways my Questions are listed below and I would be glad to get responses to them.

1: What are my chances of securing a US with my monthly income of #200,000?
2: Does age really matters when it comes to who is inviting since my girl friend of 25 years would be inviting? Wondering my age! Lol.. I'm 35 years old.
3: Do u guys think visiting Ghana(Once) and united kingdom(Twice) would fascilitate my chances of getting a US visa.
4: Do u guys think being Single with a Son from another woman would be a problem?

I would be glad to read different answers to my questions from different members.

Thank you all
