I think Tinubu will perform better than his predecessors when elected but this will depend on how he's able to get competent people to form his cabinet, he should retain Amaechi as either SGF or a substantive minister, give Fashola AGF, Keyamo too should be given a good position, el-Rufai or Lawan should be VP.

Fashola will most likely get Chief of Staff if Tinubu win.

What does federal government have to do with generating power in Nigeria?

Power generation is the work of the federal government. (Though they have sold most of the power plant to their cronies). Most of the power being generated by these gencos are still directed to the national grid.

Some months ago, the National Assembly finally passed a law to remove power from the Executive List to the concurrent list which allow each state to generate its power and distribute it to their citizens without transmitting the power to the national grid.

We pay very low taxes in Nigeria. In America my poultry farm would most likely be taxed. My wife's salary is not taxed at all. Mine is deducted from the ministry but my tax is just 15k monthly. But federal government pays emoluments and allowances.

I also don't go to work everyday. The same thing with many of my colleagues. We have a system that covers for each other. I go to work only 3 times in a week.
You can't have such laxity abroad. You will work through your nose.

Lastly let me tell you the icing on the cake, I haven't paid nepa bill in 3 years. Around us we have people that rig the meter, so it doesn't read. When the nepa people come much later, we settle the staff and he goes. This cannot happen in abroad.
