I hope the decision to spend all the money on forwards and no midfielders will not turn out to be an unwise decision. We better be scoring goals for fun. It would be ridiculous to remove Rashford and Garnacho only for their replacements to be averaging Rashford and Garnacho numbers

Any time your club wants to buy a player like this guy and AWB who has major technical deficiencies on the ball, but his supporters are talking about his off the ball qualities such as sliding tackles and work rate, your answer should always be NO.

Take it as a golden rule. Those qualities won't work for a top club in a top league.

If Kone is not good enough for the first team, then Collyer or Moorhouse shouldn't be in the first team next season too. If the board fail to sign a midfielder due to limited cash, then i would rather have Kone over Collyer in midfield...

Bruno trying to nutmeg an opposition player instead of a simple pass when we had only 2 defenders back.

Casemiro committing to a sliding tackle prematurely like he often does instead of standing on his feet and running with his man.

These are the issues changing formation will magically solve.

We should have sold Bruno but I think Amorim preferred having a loyalist captain in the squad to the money he would have brought. Time will tell if this was a monumental error or not.

You 💯 right.. this 343 would only get Amorim sacked before December.... Playing your most productive attacker Amad at RWB is a big No, see how the right side was struggling to bring the ball forward....
All that is needed is a Central Midfield general who would pair Bruno and Ugarte...then play Cunha, Zirkzee and Mbuemo/ Amad as front 3...

Zirkzee would drop deep and allow Cunha and Mbuemo/ Amad/ Bruno into goal scoring position. Even Hojlund may improve in this setting.

Talking about Sleeper teams, you left out the Spurs. Spurs would be this season what OKC was three seasons ago, the year before they led the West. They are building quietly and no one is paying attention. D.Aaron Fox will be that trigger for Spurs, the way Shai was for OKC. They have got, Wemby, an upgrade on Holmgren. They need a couple more pieces, definitely. But they sure look like they know what they are doing unlike clueless Blazers and Jazz. I am rooting for them.

The Dallas Mavericks is a problem too if they can stay healthy. Imagine a prime Kyrie, Klay and AD playing together? That's damage right there. Throw in Cooper Flagg, Lively, Gafford, Max Christie and PJ Washington. I dare say OKC won't repeat. They just can't. And whosoever wins next season is coming from the west if there are no injuries.
