TLona1: So he should have lost those games because they were against easy sides or what are you tryna say? If one of those teams knocked City out you'd have called him a fraud for failing to win the FA Cup now he beat everybody to win the cup and here you are with your negative rants.
UCL? Lol. Why is the narrative changing? I thought Pep should leave Bayern and Barca for EPL to show he's a true genius. Of course not. You only beat what’s in front of you. Just bringing a little perspective to the argument. You and who told Pep to come and prove himself in the EPL? Did you see me making that kind of argument? League that Pellegrini, Mancini, Raineri, Wenger, Mou and the likes don win? I already said it here last week that his team is the best team in the league in the past 2 season. There’s no denying them. |

Who was better than him? That will be subjective. Just like if I said VVD or Kompany was better than Cahill and Luiz in 16/17 yet both players made the team of the year and he did not.
Personally, Hector Bellerin, Antonio Valencia were better than him. |

Very telling that Shaw, Young,Jones and Smalling aren't in the squad, yet we'll parade these same mugus next season. Trashford and Dancer Ling made the squad while Shaw doesn’t. Even Delph made the squad and there’s no space for J. Madisson. The joke is on them. |

MRTA7: All that one nah story. They knew the score before the season started. You can't decide afterwards that the points difference is too much. This is best and fairest way. Next time they will get their acts together. Bro, it doesn’t make sense. I’m not just talking about Leeds, I’m talking about the system they use. Look at the PL for example, why can’t 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th team on the table play play-off to determine the last person that will go to relegation with 19 and 20. Why does the no 18 have to go directly even if the club in no 17 is just 1 point above them? Why can’t 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th team play play-off to determine the last team that will go to the UCL and the rest can go to Europa? Why allow 4th placed team with 1 pts above 5th be allowed to just go like that? In fact City has used goal difference to qualify for UCL ahead of us. They all started the season together, if they can’t make top 3, no point giving them another extra route to qualification. It’s not fair to the team that finish 3rd. |

Leyqute: I disagree. It gives other lowly placed teams a chance to get promoted. It makes the league more interesting towards the end of the season.
If you’re good enough to finish 3rd you can as well finish second by adding to your efforts. That Leeds failed to win the championship or even finish second is their own undoing. Before yesterday, they’ve met Derby thrice this season and destroyed them in those encounters, outplaying them in each game.
I agree that they play good football but that is futile if you don’t take your chances. They blew a 2-goal lead in their own home yesterday evening.
Two. Good. Goals!
I don’t think Bielsa will wait around after this bottling job. Arrogant old man that he is. 9ts is too much a difference. It’s not fair. |

Leyqute: If you ask me I’d say Leeds have no business being in this playoffs. They should’ve finished second. Would be very painful if they miss out completely.
I have a feeling the winner today will fill the last promotion slot. Leeds lost some matches towards the end of the season that they have no business losing. I thought they were going to give Norwich a run for the trophy but they finish badly. Their last 5 matches, they Won 1, Lost 3 and Draw 1. Not good enough. |

Oasis007:

If swap Deal involving Sanchez and Dybala is possible, then United shouldn't blink over it and do the needful sharply.
We don't need Koulibaly. We don't need to spend huge on a potential Failure, coz no one is certain Koulibaly gonna be a Hit at United. I rather give Tuanzebe Opportunity to prove himself at Preseason and perhaps make him a formidable Partner with Lindelof.
If Offers come for Jones and Smalling, Board should not ponder, rather accept any Amount the buying Club offers.... Even if it's £1 for both of them, with Rojo as a Gift. Darmian's Time is over at United. He should be allowed to go free of charge as well.
Mata?! No need to renew his Contract, he has tried enough for the Club, I'm definitely gonna miss his Weekly blogging. Matic?! Squad Player at least is not bad for him, same as Lingard.
Lukaku?! Sigh! I pray Juventus or Inter Milan come for him. £50m and he's sold! You want to sell Smalling and Jones. You don’t want us to buy Koulibaly. You want us to use Tuanzebe to partner Lindelof Mr Oasis, do you want us to relegate? |

airmark: Nobody blamed pep. He was lucky that a team like Chelsea were foolish not to have allowed Conte build on his first seasons achievement.
Vvd was 60m not 75m when Conte wanted him. Stones was bought by Fraudiola for 50m or so. That didnt stop them from spending again on Laporte. He was given such financial backing that he changed goalies in two seasons like its nothing.
Conte in same peps environment, would be smiling before every match. I’m not arguing against this sir. I’m against you saying he was lucky. His team is the best team in the league for the past 2 season. If Conte had gotten Lukaku and VVD, there’s no guarantee that Conte would have won the league either. All these are possibilities. It’s speak more about Chelsea, Man Utd and the rest not supporting their manager 100% but the truth is that these club were spending also but the spending were on average joes. |

eph12: I think the point is that Pep is lucky to have competent people to work with. Imagine Pep with Ed, he would have been frustrated by now That’s what I’m saying. Pep is not responsible for all that. He’s not stopping Man Utd from getting a competent DoF like Txixia or stopping Chelsea from getting Marina away from transfer negotiations. Conte wanted VVD but his superior argued he’s not worth 75m. Liverpool bought him at 75m because he’s worth it to them. Ed refuse to pay 70m for Morata but instead bought Lukaku for 75m plus Rooney. City wanted Sanchez at the summer transfer window and they believe he was not worth the amount Arsenal were calling, he later went to Utd for more money. Whether another manager will do so well with the squad at his disposal is another thing entirely. |

Greatihex: the bold is correct, but you need to consider the following.
1. He has the most net spend of any manager 2. He has the best squad depth. 3. He took over the best team in the league on paper. 4. He has never lost any key member of his team to another team like Matic for Chelsea and Coutinho for pool.
Just like pochettino once said, his team has done well locally but you need to consider the above. 1. Other manager has spent also. The difference between him and other manager was his buys improved his team/squad depth. No one stop others from spending or buying better players. 2. See 1 above. 3. Best team on paper? The same best team on paper that finished 4th with 66 points a season before? 4. He also didn’t buy the best player in the league a season before. Chelsea did. All these are just excuse. Pep has been the best manager in the league for the past 2 season. He’s still a fraud in the UCL though |
