I'm still wondering why the FA cup has to be played on weekends, why not during the week like the EFL cup, its the weekends FA cup matches that's making the EPL matches congested. They really need to do a review of all the competition. |
^^^^ Elamps baba, shey na the amount dey pain you abi na because he go affect Wayne chances?? 60M is a okay for Greizman in this crazy transfer market. |

Congratulations diggz, may blessing and joy follow her. |
I'm speechless. we should have won this match. |
This is getting too much, haba these refs definitely have a plan against us, na only us. |
21Savagw:Ok sir. |
How brexit vote take concern signing of players? Smhs for some people. |
Patrice Evra claims Paul Scholes was the only Manchester United player who never suffered Sir Alex Ferguson's 'hairdryer' treatment. Mark Hughes referred to Ferguson's volcanic dressing room eruptions as the 'hairdryer' in the 90s and the tag successfully stuck, with The Sun commemorating the Scot's retirement by splashing with a United hairdryer hung up. Scholes, who turned 42 on Wednesday, was wished a happy birthday by former teammate Evra on Instagram. "Happy birthday legend!!! Simply the best midfielder on planet!!!" Evra wrote. "The only players never get the hairdryer from the boss. Soo lucky. I love this game hahahaahahah." Rio Ferdinand admitted as far back as 2007 that Scholes was the only United player who did not face Ferguson's wrath. "Anyone who says they've not been shouted at other than Paul is probably lying," Ferdinand said. "He can't be shouted at, he's too good to be shouted at. He doesn't make mistakes. He's just a great player." Ferguson last week claimed he only used the 'hairdryer' six times during his 26-and-a-half year reign at United. "There was a lot of myth about it. It happened about half a dozen times in 27 years and the players will tell you that," he said. "The problem for me was if a player answered me back, I headed towards them. That was my problem. "Jock Stein always said to me, 'Leave it until Monday to talk to them,' but I said I couldn't wait until Monday. So, on a Saturday after the game, I told them exactly how I felt, because we had trained at a level all week that I expected to win every game. "I told them exactly the truth and the truth works. All the players understood that and it was never held against me. Then the next day it is pushed aside and I'm prepared to win again. I never ruled by fear. "Name a Manchester United team that played with fear. My job was to get a positive attitude into that team, for them to express themselves, never give in and enjoy playing for the club. That is sacrosanct." |
Anybody that compares Pique and Boateng to Paolo Maldini should be flogged. Paolo Maldini is considered one of the greatest defender of all time. Make una find another logic to trap Dayo abeg, this one no fit work. |
bingbagbo:What is this one saying? |

Ibime:Tiri gbosa for you. Airmark oya do the needful. |
Chelseafan1:Whatever makes you happy bro. Happy Sunday. |
Chelseafan1:Bros, there's no way you will blame Mourinho for Hazard poor form last season and continue to hype Hazard of 2014/2015 without giving Mourinho the due accolade he deserves just like you are giving Conte right now. Pray tell, if by next season you guys start having issues and Hazard repeats his 2014/2015 debacle again, Will you blame the same Conte that's bringing out the best in him now as a bad coach and tactless? |
Bimffo:I'm not talking about you but those who were blaming Mourinho for Hazard poor debacle last season forgetting what the same Hazard did under Mourinho the season before. Happy Sunday. |
eph12:Chelsea fans don't like Mourinho anymore because they forget things easily. |
Chelseafan1:No, you didn't. You guys are praising Hazard for 2014/2015 season while pinning 2015/2016 on Mourinho. If it was Mourinho tactics that made Hazard poor in 2015/2016, what made him spectacular in 2014/2015? |
Bimffo:Stop trying to dance around the truth, Why hasn't Hazard being able to reach the height he was at Lille since be joined CFC until Mourinho came and made him being mentioned among the best in the world? While Hazard was at Lille, he was just a kid with potentials, Mourinho took him to another level that even FIFA recognised him. In all Hazard career from his days in Lille, when was he ranked among the best in the world and who was the manager then? To put my argument into perspective to you, some of you guys were blaming Mourinho for last season Hazard debacle but go ahead to use 2014/2015 season to hype him while still berating Mourinho. Fact says that Hazard best season in EPL is 2014/2015 season, whether he will surpass that or not this season is yet to be seen. |
Chelseafan1:Ogbeni why ain't you using the 2013/2014 and 2015/2016 season to hype Hazard? Hazard best season in CFC is 2014/2015 season and your manager is Mourinho. If you won't give him the due accolade he deserve for bringing out the best in him then don't criticise him for last season poor Hazard form. I have made my point. |
Chelseafan1:Lol, it was Mourinho defensive approach that made Hazard lose form last season because he was asked to always track back and help the defence. Meanwhile in 2014/2015 season, it was Hazard extraordinary talent that made him win the PFA while still tracking back to help the defence. Continue in your self hypocrisy. Whenever you want to hype Hazard kindly remove the 2014/2015 season since that's what you guys do for Mourinho. Peace. |
Bimffo:You don't get it, do you? Some of you guys are blaming Mourinho (not necessarily you) for Hazard poor performance last season not forgetting that it was under the same Mourinho that Hazard had his best season in a blue shirt. Normal level you say, why wasn't Hazard able to achieve the level he achieved in 2014/2015 season since he has been at CFC. Why didn't other manager bring him to the level he was in 2014/2015 to win the PFA? |
Chelseafan1:How do you guys reason seriously? Hazard was playing in the ligue 1 and winning his series of award in ligue 1 where truly he was above those plying their trade there, hell we can even say he was in an inferior league that doesn't mean that Hazard doesn't have the talent. 2014/2015 season was Hazard best season where we was being compared to everyone including CR7 and Messi, even FIFA acknowledged that. Guess who the manager was that time? I repeat if you blame Mourinho for Hazard poor performance last season then you must give due credit to him for the season before. it's as simple as that. |
Bimffo:The same level that makes him win the PFA player of the year and his best season yet in the EPL, if Mourinho will be blamed for Hazard poor form last season then definitely he should be given his due accolade for Hazard best season in a blue shirt yet. It's as simple as that. |
The same 2014/2015 season you guys were using to rate Hazard, who was the manager then? Who brought out the best from him? Ya'll can continue insulting Mourinho for as long as you can but don't forget he was the one that took your Lord Hazard to that level first. Mourinho. |
^^^^ For the collective good of the club and we the fans. I hope he get it right as soon as possible |
Make Rooney quickly break the goal scoring records so he can join the LET GO squad. He has done enough already. SAF will not come out of retirement and we will surely get right with Mourinho, I believe that. |
donjazet:Go through that post again, I said Pep deserved his victory yesterday but the way Dayo was creaming his pant about that match is something else. Alaves and Celts went toe to toe with Barca and defeated them, like I said, Pep victory yesterday didn't make him a genius, lesser coach has already beaten this Barca side even with Pique and Iniesta. |
So why did they reject the proposed $10 Billion that the government is planning for key development of their infrastructure. Who will oil block epp? The elite Who will NDDC funding epp? The same elite Who maritime university epp? The same elite How do they expect the DG to force IOCs to bring the headquarters back to the ND when it's not a government agency? These people needs to get serious and draw up a better plan and strategy that will improve the lives of the people they claim they are fighting for. The call for regional autonomy should be at the top of their voices and not all these rubbish. |
First leg Barca 4 - 0 City Pep is a brilliant coach for sticking to his philosophy and coming out to play Barca. City 3 - 1 Barca Pep is a tactical genius for beating Barca. I wonder when we will start calling Mauricio Pellegrino and Eduardo Berizzo genius for beating this same Barca team. Barca are very beatable and Pep deserved his victory last night but to be shouting upandown calling it tactical genius na something else. Do not compare the Barca treble winning team 2 years ago to this Barca side that has Digne and Andre Gomez playing for them. |
