fineyemi:Guy, forget that thing, me and my friend applied for accounting, he scored 57.3 and i scored 52 we were both indigene, my name came out with the merit list while he wasn't given admission at all. I repeat, nothing is set in stone when it comes to Admission list. Anything can happen. |
fineyemi:Sure, just like all schools, Uniosun have a preferences for those who are indigene and those that chose them as First Choice (I don't know if jamb still does that). Connection works sometimes also but you have to be very careful. |
fineyemi:Not trying to discourage the guy or the good work you are doing here but you don't say something like that since you ain't the one compiling the list, you can only encourage and advise him and not talk with certainty which might breed over-confidence and when the list comes out and his name is not among the merit list (God Forbid) you would have crashed him mentally and paint a very bad picture of the school in his mind. To all aspirant. Even with your good score and the connection you have, nothing is set in stone until the list is out and you see your name among those admitted, so don't relent your efforts and your prayers, it would just be what you needed to push you through. Peace. |
olahnreywahdzu:You have a very good chance. Just be prayerful and if you know somebody that knows somebody, it will boost your chances. Overall, be hopeful and not be too desperate so as not to fall into wrong hands. |
fineyemi:I'm in Okuku campus and its not news that Prof. Alamu traveled out, whether he's resting or not, me I don't know, I'm not saying he didn't appoint Dr Okediran as coordination of admission committee, what I'm saying is that Prof. Akintayo has been made the acting VC until Prof Alamu returns. Its as simple as that. The truth of the matter is that no one knows the actual cut-off mark which the school will use, we are all just using our projection based on how the school admit student on previous occasion. You and I both know that an aspirant with below 40 get admission sometimes while those above 50 wouldn't get admitted. |
Mrokaykay:Alright bro. |
I'm the out-going president of Accounting Dept, Any question that might relate to Accounting, Banking n Finance Dept can be directed to me and I'll try as much as I can to answer everyone. |
Mrokaykay:Yes you are right. We both wrote pume that year and thankfully to God we were given admission. I think Uniosun is coming of age little by little, there are still some rough edges about credibility and transparency like most schools but they are getting there. You can only wish all the aspirant luck and help those you can help in terms of connection. |
Una too get bad mouth for here. Choi |
Mrokaykay:Well you can say that because even normally Uniosun don't release nor publish their cut off mark. This year admission list will amaze some people. Bookmark this page. |
spenca:Alamu is the VC but we heard he has travelled out and PROF Akintayo who is the chairman of the provost board and the provost of okuku campus has been made the acting VC untill Prof Alamu returns. Prof Akintayo is the former Dean and Provost of Okuku. |
Departmental wear for each department in Faculty of Management Sciences in Okuku. Accounting: White and Black Banking n Finance: White and Black Entrepreneur: Purple Bus Admin: Blue IRPM/HRM: Cream All departments in Faculty of Social Sciences do not have any enforced departmental wear but Economics do wear Pink once in a while. |
All aspirant should calm down, Uniosun hasn't released their cut-off mark yet, everyone still has a chance but those above 50 in Accounting, Economics, Bus Admin, Banking n Finance, Law, Nursing, Engineering e.t.c has better chance than those that have lower than 50. Since Prof Akintayo is the acting VC and we in Okuku know him to be a very considerate man, they might lower this year cut-off mark. If you get over 50 in pume and you are an indigene of Osun, you better start preparing to pay your acceptance fees and getting ready to resume soon. School might resume by November 2, that's the feelers we are getting for now but start getting everything in place. God speed to everyone. |
If you have anybody seeking for admission into Uniosun who scored above 200 in jamb and doesn't score up to50% in his/her post utme... this is an opportunity to get admitted into the university without stress. contact this no 08064293796 for more info... |
96 tackles attempted, 79 tackles won. Exactly the kind of steel we need in our midfield. |
so Shaw is injured again abi. No p. southampton has scammed us. |
afrodoc2:1) We will surely make the champs league no matter what. it's kinda guaranteed. 2) Any player that we want to buy must be bought early in the transfer market so that he can have time with the team during the pre-season. We can re-call Chicarito from loan, get carrick replacement and a CB and this team will go places. LVG knows best though, I believe in him. |
coogar:Definitely, gradually, LVG philosophy and plan is taking shape, we just need some new recruits in attack and maybe carrick replacement and someone to at CB in case smalling or Jones decides to get crooked at the wrong time. |
coogar:Exactly my thoughts. Today performance was top notch with everything being equal, we just wouldn't punish them when we had the chance early on but they did took their chances and that's the difference. We played well today and the boys should hold their head high up and concentrate on the remaining fixtures. |
afrodoc2:I understand you. That injury to Carrick and blind really dealt our chances a big blow. I don't know why but this defeat doesn't hurt like it would normally does. Onward and upward to the next one. Falcao should start packing his bags. |
afrodoc2:Matic is still very good with the ball at his feet and you wouldn't want him, Fabregas and Oscar to run circles round your Midfield. I understand your point but how are we going to ever score without first dominating possession. it's not always easy playing against teams that parked the bus and with good defenders. it's going to be hard. |
afrodoc2:Falcao himself did not make himself available for those passes. he wouldn't even lure defenders away to free up space for his teammates. He did absolutely nothing today, how is the midfield going to give him penetrating passes when he doesn't make himself available for those kind of pass. Falcao was awful. EOD |
afrodoc2:Yes, Chelsea parked the bus but they would have overrun our midfield without Rooney, Rooney in midfield keeps both Oscar and Fabregas in check. LVG tried with the starting line-up considering the available players, Falcao continues to fumble and soil his reputation the more and LVG sub was awkward and downright stupid. |
chrisley024:Falcao was worse than Fellaini and Young, hell Young and Fellaini gave their best. |
Dadehmola:Apart from the early miss, I think Rooney did quite well. I already know him to always pass backward and to the wings sometimes so I wasn't surprised when he did that on numerous occasion. He was our best bet in Midfield today, we just needed someone with brains upfront which we unfortunately didn't have in Falcao. |
coogar:What do you expect from the team, they gave their best in this match which unfortunately isn't enough. Mourinho practically packed the bus so it wasn't surprising that we had all those passing stats. Falcao killed our attack today and he's the reason for our pathetic play upront. There's no way we wouldn't have played differently if carrick had started this match and we have Rooney upfront. |
Chelsea won, but it was a good performance from the lad except Falcao who just keeps falling down like moi moi. it's not easy playing without your 4 regulars that has formed an understanding with each other against the league leaders at their home ground, it's always going to be difficult. Onward and upward to the next one. Haters it's your day, you can have the floor. GGMU |
Blackett should never play LB for us again. WTF |
whether we conceded first or not, it was a good first half performance from the lad. Falcao is not helping the attack as much as I would have like him too, he just keep falling. The goal we conceded is one of those things that happen in soccer, we just have to be calm and play our game, it's been fantastic thus far. We will score in the second half. |
Do u guys see Bayern trashing Porto 3 or 4 nil at the Arena? |
