I heard the Adidas kit deal will generate an average €150 million every year for us, how true is this? |
@ Dadehmola, Hazard does not even come close as CR7 replacement, we re talking about someone that average 40 goals per season in all competition and you re mentioning Hazard, Hazard has potentials and quick feet but he can never replace a goal machine like CR7. |
I'm sure we top the list of teams which ref has awarded penalty against this season, the rate at which these ref's award penalty against us is alarming. |
De gea first meaningful contribution this season. |

Ishilove: Stirring words, but how have we as Nigerians contributed to making Nigeria great? Us Nigerians are the country's biggest problems. When the policeman or the civil servant demands for a bribe before he can perform his duties, have we stood our and declared and emphatic HELL NO?? When our leaders steal billions (they don't steal millions again. That's old school), have we taken to the streets to demand accountability? Don't we shake our heads and curse them, then carry on with our lives? When our roads remain in deplorable states despite the billions of invisible naira disbursed for road building and maintenance, have we gone to the state government office to picket the place??Definitely Ishi, I'm not for sitting down and doing nothing, if you go through some of my post on here you would say that i'm among those who clamour for accountability and transprancy from our government, i don't just grumble and move on, I try to make my voice heard. Nigeria belongs to all of us and the responsibility to make it great rest on all our shoulders. The government has its part to play and we do have our own part to play as well. I just happen to be someone who believe in Nigeria so much that sometimes people term me as being crazy. I am proud to be a Nigerian!!! Of course Nigeria is faced with challenges from all corners but despite those challenges, we still remain strong, we remain unresolved and strive daily for a better and greater nation. Our challenges cannot be overemphazied but despite those struggles i can still wave my green white green flag up in the sky for everyone to see that i'm a proud NIGERIAN. Just like our athlete making us proud in Morroco, i can stand tall among others and say Yes, those are my country men and i'm proud of them. There is no country without their own internal problems and i won't trade being a Nigerian for any other nation. I refuse to give up on this great nation, i refuse to cover myself in shame because of some elite few who has soiled our name in the mud. Nigeria will rise again someday, whether that time is now, tomorrow or in 20yrs time, i don't know but i do know that wherever i go inspite of any discrimination that may occur, I'm still a Nigerian, A Proud Nigerian Yes, I'm Black Yes, I'm a Nigerian Yes, I'm proud to be a Nigerian. Nigeria: Great Nation, Great People!!! |
Good news!!! At long last, this market is reopened and even with better infrastructure. Nice one from the LASG, This is the way to go, I just hope that the masses will be able to afford a stand and sell their wares. #Team National Development |
Good News!!! This is the kind of news i want to hear regularly, development happening from South West to South East to South South to North and other part of the country. It is time to put aside partisan politics and build the nation together. #Team National Development |
Nice development. Each region should be developed simutaneously so as to foster effective and rapid development that we all clamour for. Nice one GEJ and Enugu Government. #Team National Development. |
You mean the same once feared and respected DSS spokesperson said such? It is well!!! |
CyberWolf: the big question now is how do we hold our leaders accountable without being made as a scapegoat?Thank you brother, our leaders derives their power from US, we can make them tremble by coming together to make our voice heard. For example, your local government chairman didn't perform any of his function after like 6month and you see hime buying exotic cars and living a larger-than life life, then we mobilize each other to his office and demand how he has spent the 6months allocation, we demand nothing more than accountability and not just promises because the time of promises has passed (time of election) rather we demand for implementation of their promises. If every Local government state holding their elected officials accountable and not looking for the GEJs and Fashs of this world to come solve their street problem when they have a chairman in their backyward that they can do nothing too. The change we seek start with us. |
xtervaganza: there is no sentiments in businessTrue that!! Emmaomotob: Kick off is own by South Africans, main website is kickoff.comThank you sir. |
CyberWolf: thats good..we are on the same side, but with the political structure of this country, APC has a 5% chance of winning next yr's presidential election...but what baffles me is the way some APC's comrades here talk as if Nigeria will turn to Yankee once APC get power...I'm a realistic, i don't get sway with sentiment or emotions, i look what is on ground before i make my judgement. APC presidential candidate will determine how far they will fare in the forthcoming election. You can't blame them for that, look at the turn-around (though still little) that happened after the years of mis-rule of PDP in the South-west, i think its borne out of the hatred that some has towards PDP and some of their element. For this nation to start getting it right, its not going to start from the top, rather it will start from the grassroot, we need to start holding our elected officers accountable starting from the councilor to the local government chairman and start frowning on corruption from the grassroot, we need to start asking ourselves thought invoking questions when our elected officers just after 3months in power start buying exotic cars and building mansions, instead of us to start demanding accountabilty from them, we start playing the its family, tribe, local government area card. The government is not going to hand everything to us on a platter, we will have to work for some of those quality things we want. The responsibilty to transform Nigeria is not only on the GOVERNMENT but rather it involves the PEOPLE. Shalom. |

APContherun: That's a better way of putting it instead of speaking with certainty about a future you have no control over. The dynamics of Nigerian politics is so interesting that you can never be sure of something until it actually happens.Brother, I'm not speaking with any certainty, Of course i know politics general is dynamic, the future might be tomorrow or it might be in 20yrs time, no one knows, what i'm only saying is that when it does come, we will remind them that they told us they don't need us and so they should look elsewhere for their partnership. |
CyberWolf: are you indirectly saying that APC will not win next yr's presidential election?...APC might not win it, its politics though, anything can happen. Until the convention in December when we will know APC flagbearer before i give my opinion on whether APC has a chance or not. If APC doesn't field a better person than GEJ then maybe i will be inclined to vote for GEJ again. #I tends towards APC though. |
iiichidodo: We aren't angry,we just feel comfortable with GEJ's admin till 2019.... Sir, you still haven't answered my question, what is your (Igbo) political objective. What happens after 2019? That's the question you needs to be answered sir. |
nku5: I respect Uwazurike's intentions but he should leave igbos and APC matter.Do not forget that the Igbo people started this anti-igbo themselves when they term APC has an amala party, they even went forward to term APC has a party of Hausa-Yoruba and also Awolowo party, You guys still went forward to term your own son Chris Ngige Efulefu just because he join APC, how is the treating of Rochas different because he joined APC. Before APC was formed, APGA was which acclaimed to be Igbo party was given a chance to be part of the party but they refused vehemently save for Rochas. The Igbo would have today being a stakeholder in APC had they joined in the merger process. Do i need to remind you how 2011 PDP presidential primaries turn out? How the Northern PDP didn't want GEJ to be the flagbearer? If you term APC has an islamic party, then what is PDP? Don't let us deceive ourselves, the Igbo populace are free to align with whoever and whatever party they want too but they should stop saying that other tribe are against them or some other party is against them. |
CyberWolf: All this long epistle will not win APC presidential election..PDP will the presidential election next yr..any bet?...100kNo one is saying APC will win next year presidential election. What we are discussing here is the political stand of the Igbo's. |
RuuDie: True!I tell you, he kinda reminds of Evra with the way he drive the ball forward, its still premature but i have a feeling the dude will play a part this season. |
Why is no one talking about Blankett. I like that dude confidence on the ball, he might still be young but he needs to be promoted asap. |
