First, get your sworn affidavit of age. When you get to any Law court across the nation, the commercial typists can draft it on your behalf.
With it, you move to the NPC office.

Thanks...after swon affidavit of age, how long will it take for them to issue me the birth certificate cos thats the only thing needed to submit my application

What Cert did you use during ur uni days undecided

WAEC certs are ready within 2years or so...not including the original will raise an eye brow except he gets an affidavit that he lost it or the school lost it or something related grin

I used the one from the school...so please what do u advise i do?

MrArams:

When did u grad from sec sch? You can always improvise, submit the school statement and add a waec scratch card to it for them to verify if there is a need.

I graduated 2005...but didnt collect the Original since then, now they said they can't find it and they will have to go to waec....which is going to take a while. Also i intend submitting online...how can i go about this please?

.... Once he gets to the Customer Service counter... they will give it to him... They mostly have formats... You cant dictate to them... Just tell him to advise them its for Visa purpose.... What it normally states is ...
1. How long he has been banking with them
2. His address
3. Balance on that day

Wow..thanks.

.... Not difficult to get SOA of 6months.... He should be able to print it online... No need to go to the bank... But he can go to the bank for a Bank Letter....add it to the printed SOA...He can go to a lawyer to have a notarized letter... those will work...

Thanks...really appreciate. Bank letter stating what?

Hello guys, can you please advise me: My sponsor(cousin) US citizen, having difficulty in getting affidavit, and SOA for 6 month..he can only get the current SOA. Can i still apply with a month SOA and what can i do about the affidavit ?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by larryshow40: 7:39pm On Oct 04, 2014
MrArams:
Go online to cic.gc.ca to generate ur checklist code. Usual docs: Sponsor docs: affidavit of sponsorship, letter of sponsorship, SOA, evidence of source of income, landed property docs. Ur docs: Academic certs, Employment details, birth cert, SOP, tuition deposit. Choose the ones applicable to you. You can list ur docs here b4 submitting them for the house to vet

Thanks..will do just that..will get back to the house bout it.

Also, my passport is gonna expire next year dec. I tried to renew it but was told i can only renew if it remain 6month. please can i still apply like that?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by larryshow40: 6:20pm On Oct 04, 2014
MrArams:
If your docs are pretty straightforward I'll advice online but if u've got lots of docs or a complicated app then go for paper

Thanks for the reply...but please could you guide me on the required docs so i can apply as soon as possible

Thanks
