I'm ready to be dedicated and even if possible, three months of probation just to show that I'm a fast learner and much more dedicated to the duties. I have a brother's family member. We are not so close, I don't even have his phone number. I'm fvcking introvert and my confidence is in its infancy, thanks to the fact that I'm not sound academically, or is it all about my confidence? ( I Sabi book but them no dey ask questions wey I know ) Well, I was told to call him and my level of stress gave me confidence. I spoke to him calmly but my voice cracked though and at the course of our conversation I said... ''Let me check and I get back to you". I don't know if it right or wrong in this contest. Pls, help me, family. |

I'm the Lastoffourtnyt, I'm here to rebute my opinion on Manson laborers and other menial jobs in the street even as a graduate. Thanks for your time. As usual, this is not meant to beg for financial assistance but to speak into existence. Well, these days I have been traumatized with the recent occurrence in my life and I'm motivated to drop every of it happening in a public forum to elevate myself, at least, and motivate myself to continue the fight against this poverty virus. Recently I made mention of my experience in a bricklayer laborer in my previous thread but I never went in detail of my experience therein. Here comes a detailed view of my experience,....well, we thank God. I enter into 'labour' market when the greener pasture seems photoshop, no hope, no life and in a strange land yet runaway from home to 'make it outside'. At a certain age in the life of a man he strive to achieve success at any speed and make things happened. I was caught up with the thrill of the moment and I had to forcefully move out of my comfort zone with nobody's approval. All I want is to come back and surprise them that I can do it all alone with my only bsc cert. ( don't blame me I realised late for the reason for addon course, coupled with the fact that I was always broke. Don't blame my parents, they only think I don't need money and I was stupid to be morally upright when it comes to money issue. Well, I'm here and there's no reason to not to work. I don't even have the necessary clothing to start to properly start job hunting fully. I had to get something done, here are my experience on the street of gwas. I thought I was strong untill; 1. WORKING WITH BUNCH OF DRUG ADDICTS: well, drug is an household name when it comes to the youth of the region in. Competing with them is very hard and nothing more. They don't easily get tired, they can work for Africa 2. THE COMPETITION WITH GBAGI BOYS. Well, they are very strong and surprise you at most but there are some environment for jokes, loyalty and brotherhood relationship among them. They are open with you and ready to help whenever you run into problem. I do like them 3. INPUT: you must work under rain or sun to achieve the daily pay of 1500 naira, I'm talking of hard weather of abuja. Well, sometimes, you earn 7h., that's a bleeped up a shìt men? Yes, exactly! 4. AWA OGAS. I met a nice man with many names but he's the nicest man before Jesus and my savior......., not what you are thinking** 5. I need a job and pls if you can help me to get a job in gwagwalada I would so appreciate it and I'm ready to move, I don't have unnecessary luggage. 6. I'm a second bachelor degree holder from the department of public administration. Look beyond my class of honor and help a brother from the street with a job or I love to learn auto mechanic engineering here in abuja and with fund for accommodation, I'm ready to move to any location in the country. I would definitely impress you, promise. Pls/abeg Nah. 7. SLEEPLESS NIGHT: nothing but sleepless night with some pain ( I'm sure this is not the type of discomfort the motivational was speaking about. Well, what do I know 8. NO HOPE: it seems the light at the end of the tunnel has been shut down but I'm hopeful. level up by burnaboy has become my favorite paddy. 9. HOPEFUL. Well, above the storm I will fly, I'm hopeful when it's my time, the light will shine again. Above nepa and bedc, everywhere will be illuminated. That's the dream. 10. CONCLUSION: it's just a phase, it shall be over! Sorry for the errors, I wish there was none. |

Romance / Dairy Of A Jobless Nigerian. by Lastoffourtnyt: 6:06pm On Sep 26, 2020 |
This thread is not meant to beg anybody for financial assistance and I would appreciate it if you don't see this as one. I'm not here to beg for sympathy, I just want to document my experience to greatness! ( I'm speaking into existence my brother ) So after a few months in the strange land searching for Greener pasture, it seems there is no pasture here not to talk of green one but we thank God because, with life, hope is infinitesimal. I came to search for greener pasture with one trouser and 3 almost retired top. I had to up my wardrobe game and there is no other way to do that than engaging in manual laboring I.e serving bricklayer aka Manson. Omo, this job is not what you think about but I have the physical strength to withstand all those gbari boys but the shit ain't easy especially at night. Maybe I would have to wait till I make before i talk about my experience doing this hard stuff under the sun and rain, cold and hot Abuja weather just to put food on my table and get some necessary stuff before I could the job hunt. So, after today's work, I went mee shia very close to my house with the last 2h (the engineer was not around, no payment today) left in my pocket. My plan was to buy 100 naira bread and 50 naira eggs and keep 50naira for transport. Could you believe this idiot went ahead and fried two eggs for me? How on earth would I even request for that? Since I don't want any problem with anybody, I had to give him all the 2h. Now I have to trek to work tomorrow and the site is far like kilode. Pls, if you are rendering any service make sure you listen to your customer because sometimes, those little change is all they have left with them. Nb; I'm a graduate of public administration with 2nd class lower. If you can look beyond my qualification on paper, then I can be a great asset to your company(pls take me out of the street, this job has done more damage to my body than the money being paid). And if you don't have any job to offer, you are free to bash I live in gwagwalada and I'm ready to relocate. Nb; pictorial evidence is available if you think this is another Nl scam |
