There are very many big names in various industries in Nigeria, from those in Oil and gas to the telecommunication industry, ICT and the banking industry. It is the norm for the HR departments of every organization to plead for confidentiality in matters that concern salary and remuneration. They go out of their way to brainwash employees not to reveal their take home to each other or to the public all in the name of confidentiality too. It is my desire as well as that of millions of Nigerians out there to find out the annual take home of staff of different organizations. This will open a can of worms but at the same time guide everyone on the choice of organizations to choose in their quest for the proverbial Golden Fleece. It will also guide those of us who have sojourned abroad for UK degrees, MBA in American Universities and intend coming home to start a career. Or those of us who have worked for a while abroad and intend returning home to settle down. Let’s know how well these reputable organizations pay. Let’s have an idea of the incentives associated with some jobs and the allowances attached to them. Let’s do it in this form: Example:- “DANBABA” Nigeria Plc - N 522,000 (Five hundred and twenty two thousand naira). Entry level N850, 000 (Eight hundred and fifty thousand naira). Officer Level N1, 000,000 (One million naira) Supervisor N1, 500,000 (One million five hundred thousand naira only) Manager Level In essence let’s understand what you’re enjoying with your present employer. Why you’d rather not be elsewhere. |
Hello Car dealers and auto market experts. I'm looking at buying a car soon. It could be a Tokunbo or good Nigerian used. I however require a convenient form of payment. I'm not looking at a posh or extra expensive car. I only need a regular Toyota to drive around Lagos. I’m ready to pay 50% of the cost of the car and spread the balance over a few months. Who can help with ideas or options? |
mybad:@Mybad: Why did you have to go and include my name and my baby's name? Whats so special about the way a name is called. If you're not comfortable with your baby's name why not choose another. Whats in a name anyway. Better still don't give your child a muslim name afterall it's all Arabic language. [b]Numerous people who go by muslim names haven't exactly been good Ambassadors of Islam so why sweat over nothing? I rest my case. |

At least every single member of my family knew the difference between 'am' and 'I'm' before their 10th birthday. Hmmmmn! Since only the single members of your family knew the difference between 'am' and 'I'm' before their 10th birthday, i suppose all the Married members of your family only figured it out before they got married. |
Adexfem, please do you have information concerning shipment from the point of procurement to the local port (receiving country)? If am buying online how will i get the vehicle to Nigeria from the US? Please help me out here. |
Haba! One good suggestion and someone goes on to call me a cretin. It's unfortunate that we go out of our ways to make other people feel bad. However texazzpete, am better than all the members of your family put together. That won't stop me from baring my mind about the use of Okada on our roads. I make use of the Okada when i have to. It's fast and convenient but that doesn't make me a fan. I feel for the inmates of our emergency wards in LASUTH Ikeja and the other General hospitals across the country. More than 50% of them are Okada accident victims. There are ways to take care of the pending problem and if you're waving it aside with a stroke of the hand, ![]() Who knows who'll be next on the list. It's not always by choice but accidents can be prevented if we are conscious. |
Fashola’s Lagos state mega city status keeps sounding like a comical dream to me considering the fact that the executive governor himself doesn’t seem to have a strong hold of his territory. The governor seems to have tired out after his first tenure in office and has left the affairs of state in the hands of his contemporaries (Okada riders). They have taken over the state like locust infestation causing chaos with their frequent accidents on a daily basis. And to think the Governor passed an edict a few months ago banning the use of motorcycles in some selected areas of the state. One wonders why the Okada business still thrives in and around Alausa secretariat under the very nose of Nigeria’s most celebrated governor. Why we still record cases of motorcycle accidents on our highways involving both women and children. It may interest you to know that some states across the country have banned the use of the motorcycle as a mode of transportation. Should one conclude that those states including the FCT are governed by responsible individuals who have the yearnings of their subjects at heart and on the contrary, conclude that the states that make use of motorcycles and rickety buses are thriving and wallowing in abject poverty and awaiting the return of the Lord Jesus for salvation? BRF! Please wake up to responsibility. Let the LASTMA take charge and secure our roads. Let’s all put a stop to the maiming and killings on our roads. |
