The Akpabio family sha🤣🤣🤣 They wanted both Speaker of AKHA and Senate President. God is no man. Congratulations to the other Akpabio in advance |
AKHA INAUGURAL PLENARY; Otong emerges as speaker. Rt. Hon. Elder (Pharm) Udeme Otong has been elected as the new speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly. He polled 20 votes to defeat Prince Ukpong Akpabio, member representing Essien Udim State Constituency, who got 6 votes. The Speaker elect was nominated by Rt. Hon. Effiong Johnson, member representing Mbo State Constituency. Prince Ukpong Akpabio who was nominated by member representing Etinan State Constituency is the counsin of the next projected Senate President; Senator God'swill Obot Akpabio. We can remember in the last general election, the senior Akpabio of APC defeated Enoidem to become the Senator of Ikot Ekpene while the junior Akpabio of same family won the House of Assembly seat under PDP. Rt. Hon. Kufreabasi Edidem member representing Itu State Constituency was elected unopposed as Deputy Speaker. Congratulations to them Source: TheMail Newspaper

Hi, There is this men senators design I'm working with. I have made several of it with red and gold colour for different clients. Some set of clients contacted me today to make same but the gold colour should be replaced with something else. That's the brigde I am at now. I'm confused about the colour that will also suit well. But I have dropped pictures of rough colour matching. Dear Fashonitas, I will appreciate your input and advice

Good evening nlanders I went to buy a Samsung product in one of the shops at Saka Tinubu and I was approached by a guy who explained Sentinel Screen Insurance for me. From his explanation, the deal appear cool and cost effective for the costumer but please I want to know how authentic they are since I don't know of their office or sort. Like who has covered his/her screen with this insurance before? Is it applicable to all screen damage? How much is it? Who do you contact when you need them? Thanks |
mine is a simple squad, it goes this way |
Should Gernot Rohr shuffle his pack after the West African giants' disappointing opening World Cup defeat by Croatia? After Nigeria's disappointing opening World Cup defeat by Croatia, the Super Eagles will be desperate to get their campaign back on track when they face Iceland in Volgograd on Friday. In contrast to the West African giants, Iceland will be buoyed heading into this one after holding Argentina in their opening fixture. However, both sides can take encouragement from the fact that Argentina's thumping defeat by Croatia in their second clash opens the door for either of them to capitalise and take the initiative in the group on Friday. Will Gernot Rohr stick with the same side that delivered such a lacklustre performance against Croatia, or will he shuffle his pack against Iceland? Have a go on this Super Eagles squad selector, and let us know who you’d like to see start for Nigeria vs. Iceland, then share your picks on Twitter StatsFC.com @EddyDove Oghenekaro Etebo may have scored an own goal against Croatia, but he was arguably the Super Eagles' best player in their opener -- impressing both defensively and offensively. Would you give the star man from the Olympic Games in 2016 a more advanced role against Iceland on Friday. Similarly, Rohr may be tempted into a reshuffle at full-back -- where Abdullahi Shehu failed to impress -- or up front, where Odion Ighalo struggled to impose himself in the Eagles' opener? Have a go and let us know how you'd solve these quandaries, and how you'd configure a Nigeria midfield which was dysfunctional against Croatia.

Chelsea were defeated 3:0 by Roma last night in their latest UCL fixture in what was arguably their worst performance of the current season.... Anyway, Chelsea had defeated Roma before with similar scoreline but let's look at the major events that took place the year Chelsea won Roma with more than two goals difference 1. Compton musician Dr See was 7 months old 2.Former Nigerian player and coach Augustine Eguavoen was a month old 3. Coach Laurent Blanc was still in the womb 4. Chelsea's Michael Emenalo was 2 months old 5. Current Nigerian Minister of Transport Chief Rotimi Amaechi was four months old 6. Current Minister of Solid Minerals Development Kayode Feyemi was 7 months old 7. Senator Magnus Ngei Abe of Rivers East was 5 months old 8. Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was the president of Nigeria 9. President Buhari served as commander of the Second Infantry Battalion 10. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was a student of Defence Services Staff College Wellington, India. HOW TIME FLIES... Who can tell the house precisely which year it was? FEEL FREE TO ADD YOURS.... |

Cowards are Jokers Why start something you can't finish? You block highway just to inform those in power to help you retrieve the remains of your youth leader? This is one of the reason I'm proud of my community- Eka Uruk Eshiet in Etim Ekpo L.G.A, Akwa Ibom State. Mkpatak of the neighbouring L.G.A- Essien Udim can testify what happened in October 2015 In PMB' voice; dogs and baboons were soaked in blood. Dokubo: we marched bullet by bullet. Don't think the Government will help on this... Fight for your freedom . . . . . . . Afterall you can rent a very good MACHINE TOOL of not less than 64 rounds at the rate of #1500/24hrs |
Pinnick, with all due respect, don't sound like Nigeria need you more than you need Nigeria... Whether you quit or not, it won't change the fact that I'm typing from the phone I charged using #160/litre petrol. You won't know why we WAIL at every issue if you don't quit. Quit right away but before you do dat, just know that: IT IS BETTER YOU QUIT LIVING THAN QUITING YOUR PRESENT POSITION, atleast in present day Nigeria. THANKS |
From a neutral point of view: TRULY, COMMON SENSE IS NOT COMMON APC even said more worse things against GEJ in the name of Freedom of Speech and active opposition. Has CHANGE change the law? And if CHANGE has change the law, Fayose is guilty; send him to Kirikiri. If on the other hand, you are just finding way to play zero opposition politics in Nigeria, call EFCC for him- which I believe won't work. Why? He who goes to equity for justice must go with clean hands. The reason for Fayose's boldness till now is he is not like some APC and PDP members. Prove it if I'm wrong by probing him. IT LOOK LIKE FAYOSE IS THE ONLY HOPE OF THE COMMON MAN. OGA FAYO, PLEASE KEEP THIS CHANGING(chameleon) GOVERNMENT IN CHECK WITH YOUR COMMON SENSE. THANKS |

The weather is so hot....arrgh! Last night I couldn’t sleep well because of the stultifying heat. I was restless and uncomfortable, tossing from end to end on the bed. To make things worse, there was no power supply. We have not had power supply in my area for the past three days. When I switched off the generator by 12:15 am, the heat embraced me like a long lost prodigal son. And we are in the month of February and it is expected that at this time, we should have had the first rain of the year that ushers in the rainy season. But so far in my part of the country, rain has refused to fall. Before weekend, I am going to be a rainmaker! I am going to bring down the rain to cool the atmosphere, to bring relief and take away the oppressive heat. I would be playing two music tracks at full volume all through the week. The first track would be, “let it rain”, a gospel song by Michael smith. The second track will be “send down the rain” by Majek Fashek. However, in case, the rain doesn’t fall this week despite these two songs, we will have to manage the heat. So how do we cope with this heat wave? Let’s look at some few tips of coping with the heat 1. Wear light weight fabrics. Don’t wear clothes that are heavy and thick. Wear cotton and silky materials that are light and airy. If you can help it, avoid longsleeved shirts, ties, stockings and other tight fitting materials. Go for short sleeved shirts instead. If your boss won’t send you away if you turn up at the office in boxers shorts, please wear your boxers shorts to work, market, church etc. Don’t wear black colored materials because by our knowledge of physics, we know that black bodies absorb heat. So rather, wear white coloured materials that reflect the light rays away from the material. 2. Drink lots of water. One thing associated with heat is that it saps moisture from bodies. You become easily dehydrated when exposed to intense heat. So drink water frequently. Take a bottle of cold water alongside with you to any place that you would be staying in for a long time. 3. Have an alternative source of power supply. We live in a country where electric power supply is unstable and unpredictable. Unless you are living in the government house, you should have your generators at standby to power your fans and air conditioners. Don’t forget to buy fuel for your generators. If you can afford a solar system plant or inverter unit, please go for it. 4. Take cold baths often. These days, I bath more than 5 times a day. Take baths frequently to clean off the sweat from your body and cool your system. 5. Sleep naked. The heat is so intense that sleeping in your pyjamas, night gown etc will exacerbate it even if you are sleeping under an Ac. You would wake up in a pool of your sweat in the middle of the night. So sleep in your birthday suit. Your motto should be “Naked i sleep, Naked I awake”. Please be careful if you are living with other people in the house. Don’t sleep nude in a house where you don’t know or trust anyone to avoid stories that touches the heart. 6. Stay away from hot beverages, hot meals, hot drinks, etc. What you ingest should be cold or at most lukewarm in nature. Don’t eat hot eba and hot egusi soup in the afternoon heat. Have some atom of pity for your internal body organs. 7. Travel to the North Pole and chill with the Eskimos. If you can’t bear the heat any longer nor cope with it, your best bet is to travel to the artic region and bask in the snow with the Eskimos. An igloo will gladly be provided for you. I have full confidence that there will be rainfall this week. Just type “Send down the rain oh Lord.” |
