Please read this PPR story of a self employed baker : Greatlady234, who applied through Federal Skilled Workers programme....then review page one again to simulate your CRS...and review the application checklist to see if you can provide the documents for people who are self employed and meet the other FSW requirements.....both on page 1 and below.

Hello everyone please i need help to clarify somethings

So I am a Baker and have 3+ years experience.
I have read through thoroughly all the threads of express entry and have realised that my best bet is applying through federal skilled trade. I calculated my points and I scored 87/100. (minus the last requirement which is my challenge)
The only challenge I have and can't quite understand how to get through yet is the requirement to have a job offer from a province or certificate of qualification from Canada.
I am truly confused at this point on what this mean, does it mean I have to get a job offer first before I can apply? Or I can apply regardless

Please help with a reply or help direct me to a Thread addressing this. Thank you so much

Hello please what is Nacetem exams like? Is it CBT or essay. Most importantly you mentioned you paid your shool fees just before the exams, does this mean one can pay installmentally?

Pls reply

igwillions:
I actually joined you guys officially in part 5 of this thread, that should be around 2018.

When I saw total cost required for this, my mind cut. As in Afraid HUG me.

Even the money required to apply for NACETEM'S PGD to get two or more cert no dey, talk more of their school fees.

The roads weren't smooth for me, but I just said let me be doing this Canada matter man to man marking before e leave me run or I score own goal.

I paid for NACETEM's PGD form 5k and later acceptance fee 15k or so, around 2018. Shii shii for school fees wasn't available.
I waited till around first semester exams to pay for half of the school fees. Waited till after 2nd semester exams the next year to pay up balance for it. That was 2019.

I went for break before I break down.

I read somewhere on this thread this year that I can get WES reference number even without paying for their fees by making use of their Western Union payment option grin shocked wink.
Omo see speed I use enter their site to get one. I had to do this because paying for WES and applying for my B.sc and PGD transcript same time, na die I dey be that na. Naa person wey hunger no kill go enter Canada.

So, I applied for that of my B.sc via ETX-NG and PGD via courier. As e dey road to reach WES, money for their fees go don ready. It got to them last week.

I just paid for WES and was charged N71,729 for 230CAD. That is almost N312/CAD.
The bank used was GTB.
Was their rate high or not?
As long as it wasn't the N365 black market rate I was seeing, thank God then.

IELTS matter is next. Preparation has commenced low key. By next month or February at most, God will bless my efforts.

In case you think achieving these between 2018 and now, nothing much was done; just imagine I was still waiting for the big funds to come to start this journey.

My reason for the write up above?
Just start the journey.
The roads will rise to meet you as you journey by... But, you have to start.

If you wait for the good things of life to come to you, someone who can't, wait will go get it before you.

More wins are coming for I and you as we play this match to leave the Nigerian team and join the Maple team.
No use your hand give yourself injury.
If you no get money to buy Nike or Addidas boot or any random shoe to play this match, wear mai ruwa shoe enter field.
If the mai ruwa shoe cost for you, wear bathroom slippers join.
If bathroom slippers cost for you, abeg carry ordinary leg enter pitch, but all in all, follow play this ball.
Last last we go score this goal carry our medal(COPR) jaapaa.

Make I go start to write my PPR gist jare in faith. Selah.

Very possible. But you must create different Jamb account for UTME and DE

sorry i am asking plenty questions , just want to be very sure to avoid stories that touch

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Do You Answer The Question "Sell Me This Pen " In A Sales Interview? by Laurele(f): 7:04am On May 23, 2017
You appeal to the person's taste in colours, and what exactly the person needs the pen for, as colours of pen varies for different purposes. Like in the military, a commandant uses black pen, pharmacist uses green pen for prescriptions n jots, a teacher will need a red pen for marking, so it all depends on the purpose. At this point in time, the colour is solely the person's choice as people have different taste in colours n needs
jomoh:

Ok if someone presents you with two identical pen with only the colours differenciating them(Red & Blue). He then asks you to sell the red one to him while he already owns the blue one.

Please tell me how to go about this. Remember the 2 pen are perfectly identical with only the colour separation them.

This is an interview question I got from a white guy named Dave at Coca-Cola sales rep interview 3years ago in Ikeja.

Personally I think the question is dumb cos there's no sure way of seeking the pen except the buyer likes your personalty.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Do You Answer The Question "Sell Me This Pen " In A Sales Interview? by Laurele(f): 6:46am On May 23, 2017
Bro, check your dictionary for the meaning of value and quality... They are synonyms so ure basically repeating my words. The quality makes the value
charles009:
please pay attention to details recruiter.your original reply says.
Just tell the interviewer the qualities of the pen, its durability, its unique color n physique wether or not its a refill etc.. Basically y its different from other pens.

Points: dont sell qualities, sell value. Though the refill is value. This is supposed to be for a learning purpose, no harshness intended.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Do You Answer The Question "Sell Me This Pen " In A Sales Interview? by Laurele(f): 6:41am On May 23, 2017
GOD BLESS YOU BRO... QUALITY IS EVERYTHING
kluwei:
what is value without quality.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Do You Answer The Question "Sell Me This Pen " In A Sales Interview? by Laurele(f): 6:40am On May 23, 2017
You answered perfectly too... There's no one way to answering a question, if you are wise, ul understand this.
Quality and class go hand in hand, so stating the qualities isn't far fetched bro. That only means u know your product as well and you an appeal to anyone to buy it no matter the class even the less privileged ones like quality things too, na money yab them, QUALITY IS EVERYTHING. something might look really rich and classy, but has zero quality.
EMIOMOADEOYE:

And as the interviewer you accepted that as an answer?

If what you said up there is true, I'm quite disappointed.

Think about it this way. Why the hell will I want to sell you a Pen when you can get one down the street for dirt cheap.

If I'm selling you a pen, I wont be badgering you about some unique feature. Whatever feature it has the fact remains that its just a pen.

Now instead of boring you with features, I probably will start with a few leading questions to see what I can home in on. I will rather home in on who you are and what you probably will be using the pen for. I would speak about the fact that your pen needs to show your class. Pretty much like you step out of a flashy car and people smell class from a mile away. You pull this pen from your pocket and people don't see a pen, they see class. Suddenly the rich ink of the pen with which you sign the lines is not just a signature, its a statement of power, class and style. You don't just want to put your acknowledgement in cheap ink. You want to do it in a way that reflects who you are. When they see that ink on the paper they see class.

I I'm selling a pen, I had better be selling it on a self gratification level and not on a logical level of features and benefit.
