Romance / Re: Reasons why I need to get married! by Lavidah: 9:38pm On Nov 06, 2014
I sincerely admire your approach to getting into a relationship with someone, which could possibly end up in marriage. More than a few guys find themselves in your situation, but don't really know how & where to meet their wife-to-be. The truth is, one needs to get God involved (He never disappoints) & be determined to make that move, jst be positive & be your true self, there's someone for everyone... Like saying goes, que sera sera, what will be will be. .. Best wishes op.
Politics / Re: Reuters UK Predict GEJ Victory In 2015 by Lavidah: 5:47am On Oct 30, 2014
I only pray Nigerians don't cry out in regret and further pain after the president is smuggled back to power in 2015. In Nigeria, it is obvious that achievements made by most elected office holders during their 2nd term in almost always less than those made during their 1st term in office with re-election in mind. A country where religion, ethnicity, greed, ''stolen money'', praise singers, injustice, medocrity, insecurity, corruption, lies, etc collectively help to erode all our memories of the recent past. May God help our dear nation... our children certainly deserve a better country.
Education / Re: Nigerian Words You Thought Were English by Lavidah: 8:21pm On Oct 13, 2014
@op, how about the word 'fim'? As in: Children will you all keep quiet there... Janet and Ella, I said I don't want to hear any fim.
Culture / Re: Igala Language In Anambra State. by Lavidah: 4:02am On Oct 11, 2014
Sometime last year, I was very surprised the day I saw a document belonging to a collegue of mine, who I hitherto knew to be an Igala person by tribe having Anambra boldly written as his state of origin (did enough research afterwards, just to satiate my curiosity). His surname is Omojah and I also discovered just recently that he speaks a bit of Igbo, say 40%, but understands much more... So seeing this thread has added to my existing knowledge of Igalas in Anambra. For me, its an amazing reality!

Romance / Re: How Do I Tell Her That I Can't Marry A Woman That Snores? by Lavidah: 8:09pm On Oct 03, 2014
Quite a number irrational responses here. Well, sleeping daily next to someone who snores (though not their making) might seem ok for some, but can be really disgusting to others. Anyway, OP this seems to be a flimsy reason upon which to end a relationship. If you are very sensitive to snores (jst like I am) and you truely feel you'll end up with sleepless and irritating nights, you can either get ear pads to block off those silly sounds, or else just do the needful already... A stitch in time saves nine, so they say.
Career / Re: Tricks Used By Fuel Attendants To Defraud Buyers by Lavidah: 7:37am On Sep 28, 2014
Well, unfortunately I have been a victim of fuel attendants over and over. However, one would need to pay extreme attention when buying fuel... The detective in me shall emerge each time I drive into any fuel station. Since these 'smart' attendants ain't dulling no more, no more dulling for Lavidah.
Sports / Re: Is UJ Esuene Stadium Calabar The Most Suitable Stadium We Have? by Lavidah: 12:18pm On Sep 07, 2014
UJ Esuene is quite good but certainly not the best we've got. It enjoys frequent schedules for Super Eagles because they had not suffered defeat on that pitch, until yesterday when Leroy's Congo Brazzaville beat Keshi 'the big boss' & his Eagles there in Calabar... Finally, shakara don END o!

Just hope that bench-warming virus hasn't already arrived 'the Britainnia' waiting to reunite with our hair-braiding young lad.
