I thought I've answered this, camera was fitted in the visor of his suit, if you've seen military and space suits/hardware cameras are implanted in each persons field of veiw so you see what they see, more over the lunar module detaches from the the main re entry vehicle that hangs at about 20km in lunar orbit. It has fitted cameras that get aerial photographs with high resolution pics nd also monitor record and records videos of the astronauts activities as well as serving as communication relay with mission control on earth nd the astronauts!

One of them was asking why there wasn't stars in the picture background?...check Google before posting unfounded facts here. Another one said 'why is it that its only a time that the Americans have landed on the moon?...he doesn't even know we have Apollo 17.

My brother I taya for the matter, out of the whole apollo 1 through to 17 missions, seven of them were manned missions to the moon! Apollo 17 being the last in 1972. I just don't know what captivates people in conspiracy stories!

Same thing I've been trying to tell this guy, u can't see stars when the sun is shining, and the black background he is seeing isn't purely empty space, the stars are there but can't be seen by virtue of the sun being at its zenith on the lunar surface. If not for nitrogen gas we have our sky wouldn't appear blue, its might appear dark and still we won't see stars during the day, nitrogen in our atmosphere deflects light along the blue cloured part of the spectrum, I just don't knw what to tell the guy again!

Let me ask you a set of simple questions, do you see the stars when the sun is shining during the day? Secondly do you know why our sky is blue during the day and dark at night? If you can answer these then you'll know why you see no stars when the sun is all that shines on the lunar surface and why you see no stars during the Lunar day on the dark skyline! Reference: Sir. You surprise me a lot. Once the lunar module touched the surface the engines were cut and all the descent stage modules together with the lunar rovers and all associated gear remain to this day on the moon's surface (the chinese may have started discovering them). The engines of the lunar modules never operated with the astronauts on the moon's surface. The ascent stage engine was only fired up when the astronauts were on board.

Secondly. Of course the flag will in all likelyhood stand erect simply because there is little gravity to pull it down. Infact in space objects will continue to move with the same inertia placd on them simply because there is little friction to slow them down so if you hrow a ball it will continue to pluto (that is how small spacecraft with little fuel reach deep space like Saturn, jupiter, etc,'simply by inertia), so all you have to do to the flag to make it look like its flying is to flutter it and it will contnue to move for years without end only held down by the pole. Of course the astronauts wanted the flag to be seen so they fluttered it for the camera shot.

Finally, yes the lunar surface has near zero gravity but not zero, gravity on the moon is 1/6 that of earth meaning u need far lesser effort to escape its gravitational pull to attain escape velocity from its surface! The moon has a very thin atmosphere and extremely low gravity not zero!

There you go wrong again.....firstly the cameras are implanted in each of the astronauts suits, the visor has a relay system that houses a camera with about 270 degree field of view! You don't need a camera when wearing heavily radioactive protective suits! Secondly you don't see stars simply because the light from the sun is brighter out there an obscures the smaller lights of the stars! Haba do you even read astronomy journals at all? When u stay in big cities where there's constant bright lights you hardly see the stars at night not to even imagine seeing the stars during the day time! The moons light comes from the sun, it reflects the solar light back to earth that's why u don't see stars at the background of such images! the reason you see the dark background is because the moon has a very thin atmosphere and thus has no coloured sky! You really need to read more science and less conspiracy theories. I've been where you are now!

It was a 3 man crew mission comprising; Eugene Cernan, Ronald Evans, Harrison Schmitt.
And correction; the moon orbits the earth but doesn't rotate, the side of the moon facing away from the earth has always been called the dark side of the moon and they've been there!

If a lunatic runs around saying the world is flat then he may not get much attention. When thousands and millions join him to be saying the same thing then it will not be long before some will indeed deem the world to be flat if scientists do not proactively debunk lies emanating from deluded minds.

Soon, and unless intelligent Yorubas are proactive, a hateful subset of the Igbo ethnic group, as they try to do here day in day out, will convince the ignorant world Yorubas are "lazy", "fearful", "not good at business", "Unambitious" plus all manners of negative stereotypes when such garbage is simply not and has never been factually borne out by the reality on the ground in any nation on earth where Yorubas are domiciled in.

In fact, the truth is that we Yorubas do very well at distinguishing ourselves as managers of men and materials at the highest level. It is just that we have no innate insecurity that drives us towards an attempt to validate ourselves through braggadocio and a need to put others down or belittle them. This is why you will not find many Yorubas beating their chest needlessly even when we have so much to be proud of.

How many Yorubas would know what is going on in Ghana if I did not provide that article? I am active in Ghana and can confirm to the forum that the Yorubas have made fantastic strides in virtually every facet of business life. Yet some malevolent Igbos who hate Yorubas will have you believe they "own and run" Ghana due to their market/petty/sole trader presence, just as they claim same about virtually everywhere else, because Yorubas are secure in themselves enough not to want to engage braggarts. Personally commendable attitude perhaps but it is one, against those committed to maligning us, that will result in some individuals getting away with stereotyping Yorubas to the extent absolute lies, debunked in second, are accepted as truth by a world full of ignorant people who are not inquisitive or able to inspect what they are told for factual/logical relevance.

Before you know it, even google is their tool of propaganda for spreading lies that cannot be proven in any nation of the world hosting a significant number of Yoruba people.

The Yorubas are a wonderful, tolerant, inclusive, industrious and talented people. Our real and exemplary endeavours worldwide should be revealed to counter lies from individuals obsessed with maligning us like the tribalistic, malevolently indoctrinated and hateful loser Ikengawo. This is why I showed the reality of Ghana, validating the silently efficient and gracious ambition and fearlessness of Yorubas, before idiots like Ikengawo start bragging tomorrow that they "own" Ghana and will "crash" the country tomorrow if they "pull out their investments" based on dominance of market/petty/sole trading sector that not a single Ghanaian will tell you they value ahead of the Nigerian big businesses that provides income, employment and the most tangible socio-economic growth for Ghana.

U tried not to sound tribalistic but u did a poor job in covering ur hate for d igbos, so igbos don't go to school or get educated? Or they don't engage in mentally challenging activities?
