[b] A Nigerian serving corp member identified as Izu Aniagu has spoken out on his passion for farming - Currently serving in Gombe state, the graduate of law has taken up farming in his state of service which has led to some pretty impressive harvests - He shared photos from his farm and the harvest with Naij. There are various ways in which youth corp members sent into different parts of the country make the best of their situations. For some, it may involve having fun and whiling away time, for a young man identified as Izu Aniagu however, he seems to be putting his service year to good use. The Enugu-born graduate of law went all the way to Gombe state for service and took his passion for farming along with him. Speaking of his love for farming with NAIJ.com, Izu revealed that he took to farming as a private engagement due to his love for it. Speaking more on how he went about it, he said:"I employed a mixed cropping system due to the small size of the land which is about a plot and half. I planted different crops such as maize, groundnut, beans, water melon and cucumber on the same land and they are all doing well." The smart youth corp member who is currently basking in the glory of his farm harvest, attributed his love for farming to his mother who taught him how to till the soil. Izu revealed that he learned the skill of farming from his mother Izu with some colleagues harvesting from his farm Izu explained that his love for law as a profession and farming comes first before anything. Talking of his plans for the future that involves other things, he revealed that he would love to go into politics in future A closeup photo of his farm produce The graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka sure knows how to make every moment count and definitely would cash out big if he decides to go commercial with his passion for farming. Morning sir, I am a law student, will need 10,000 to pay for text books and offset few academic debts. Any form of assistance will be appreciated. I am willing to provide my particulars for verifications. Thanks a lot. Himkers2 |
The case is quite complicated as there are many imponderables. From the facts, the offence of murder can't be established because the elements, it seems, aren't complete. The prosecution is safe in charging with it though, given that the court may easily convict of mansalughter if the former isn't established but the latter is. There seems to be a fine line between her being found guilty of manslaughter and being acquitted on grounds of self defence and, or defence of accident. So it depends on the available facts and her defence team. If she stabbed him like twice or more, she may be guilty of manslaughter . The place she stabbed him too is material. These will prove whether or not the stabbing was actually accidental. If it was and there is no negligence, then the defence of accident will avail her as the death is one by misadventure.(See S.24CC; Iromantu v. State). Again, the court may be swayed by the husband's death threats coupled with his possession of weapons-- this means he can actually effect the threats. So a reasonable person may believe she is in immediate danger of death, in whic case, SELF DEFENCE may avail her. My opinion. |
Death leaves a scar usually. |
solaceseeker:Please choose family law. It's more beneficial than all those, in my estimation. You may add labour law if two are to be chosen compulsorily. |
